Reviews for Laramie Valley Inn
Review 1:The staff was very friendly and helpful! The room was very well decorated and looked recently renovated! It is conviently located in downtown Laramie and was close to several restaurants and downtown shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay and will definitely return!!
Review 2:Rooms outdated. Need to upgrade TV and bathroom. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but we didn't choose this place as a restaurant so it was ok.
Review 3:Price, location, staff was very friendly.
Review 4:I wouldn't call the extremely weak coffee and somewhat stale pastries a breakfast.
Review 5:Staff was very friendly and courteous-bed was very comfortable after our extremely long drive. The price was good.
Review 6:- Breakfast could be improved.
Review 7:Property is in the process of renovation. The grounds are in the process of rehab. The main part of town is about two miles away. (Restaurants etc are all roughly two miles from the motel.) Owners are very nice and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Our room was remodeled and nicely furnished. Large room and comfortable setting. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Review 8:There were a lot of little things missing, like the tub had no stopper, and the box of tissues was nearly empty. There was only one ice machine and it was in the lobby. It's almost like the big things were awesome and the little things just sucked.
Review 9:They were very accommodating. The room was nice, the beds were very comfy.
Review 10:we stayed at one of the upgraded rooms, it was great. clean, slept well, air conditioned fine, staff very helpful. they recomended a restaurant that was the best in our whole trip.
Review 11:1. The East end building staircase was loose giving an unsafe feeling when carrying our bags up and down. 2. Our room was right next to the loose staircase causing excessive noise as other guests used it especially in the early morning. 2. Our room door from the look of the door jam and door itself appears to have had been damaged (forced entry) several times. Attempts to repair the door gave me an uneasy feeling when I couldnot get the loose in the door door lock to lock thusly I slept with "One Eye Open" and my 45 on my chest. My daughter's room was much better however she complained about the smell saying our pet room smelled better than her "No Pet" room. 3. The "Pet Area" that I was directed to use was dimly lit at best, the further I went down the alley the darker it got. 4. Only one ice machine that was located in the office was in poor condition. The door on the machine was broken when you opened the door it fell into and on the ice, it couldn't be closed leaving the ice exposed to and melting.
Review 12:Our party of 9 including our 5 Grandchildren and dog traveling home from the West Coast on I 80 had difficulty finding lodging without prior reservations. We arrived late in separate vehicles, needing 2 rooms the evening staff treated my wife and daughter very professionally trying to meet our accommodation needs as best they could.
Review 13:This hotel is under renovation and has been for quite some time. The front desk staff failed to let us know the roofers would begin loudly at 6:30 AM
Review 14:Room was nice
Review 15:No fresh air. Air unit would only run to provide cold air. We could not get the fan only to run and it got stuffy. Opening window not an option due to road noise.
Review 16:Had a bed and shower which is all we needed. Also was quiet. Huge TV in room. Free parking.
Review 17:The door actually had A key you had to giggle insert just the right depth to open thr door. The motel was going through renovations. The carpet was dirty. The tv was 15 yrs old. Counter bathroom closet circa 1970.
Review 18:Tha staff were very accomidating.they made an exception for our pet. They only accept service animals.
Review 19:I can't believe we paid over $100.00 for this room. It hadn't been renovated ... ever. The grout was completely missing in the bathroom. There was duct tape on the door where there used to be a lock. When I complained the next morning they admitted that they hadn't renovated that room yet, but they didn't offer me a cheaper rate. I couldn't be more dissatisfied.
Review 20:The room smelled like smoke and was really outdated. The bathroom ceiling was peeling and had a hole in it. The place had a really sketchy feel to it, but nothing particularly bad happened.
Review 21:It was right off I-80 and the staff were friendly.
Review 22:Amenities were a little outdated, but given the price and length of my stay, it wasn't of concern at all.

Review 36:Beds were very comfortable and room was very clean.
Review 37:The entrance door was terrible. The lock was cheap, the door was hard to close.
Review 38:Excellent value. Modest appearance from the outside, clean modern rooms and comfy beds inside.
Review 39:Staff not very friendly or welcoming but clean quiet comfortable.
Review 40:Laramie is a great town. This motel is in a great location if your demands for luxury aren't too high. Ours aren't - so we had a great time.
Review 41:even though it has just been reno'd. There was black mold I think, above the window. Parking was not the easiest with a trailer.
Review 42:easy to find
Review 43:Sliding glass window and screen did not lock. Large enough for a person to step into room from outside.
Review 44:We deat with the owner. She was very frindly.
