Lodge The Hampton sells fast on our site. Located in East London’s beachfront suburb, the Quigney, this guest house has spacious accommodation with free WiFi. Just 350 feet away from the beach, The Hampton offers panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

Review 1：I was very impressed with the help and generosity from both security gaurd day & night shift as from 19th -21 december , and the rest of the stuff was very helpful

Review 2：Room was not ready for check in even though we arrived an hour and a half after check in.

Review 3：Clean, tidy room, comfy bed and nice shower. Nice view of the sea.

Review 4：i was disappointed with the unwillingness of the staff to sort out key malfunction issues. We used a room without a functioning key, had to ask the security guard to open the room.

Review 5：The area was Super bad !! dilapidated and dirty .The "sea view" which we expected was there BUT only after you got past the Cell C signal antennas. It is also a industrial / residential area so it's was noisy and unpleasant . Very disappointing !!

Review 6：the hotel was beautiful . we loved the color scheme of grey's and whites and then some touches of yellow.

Review 7：We stayed in a spacious room that had a very comfortable bed, and the hotel is very close to the waterfront. The room had an aircon, which helped us sleep through the balmy evening heat. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We recommend this place for the holiday traveler.

Review 8：the cleaners never changed the sheets during my stay of 4 days with them, i paid alot of money to be there but it wasn't worth it. Some doors in my room couldn't open while. I invited two cousins over, i didn't mind paying a fee to have them sleep over, but one had to sleep on the floor, while the other slept on a seating chair and i still got charged a full amount of R500 for having them over, when i asked for extra blankets or anything that could've made them comfortable since they were my guests... i was told "it's none of our business that you decided to have guests over and there is nothing we can do about it but charge you a full amount. Would'nt recommend it to anyone else, well not anytime soon!

Review 10：The fact that when I booked I was clear that it was for 2 adults and 1 child. On arriving I was told it was only for 2 adults and I had to pay the difference. Also had confusion on whether payment was made or not when it actually was.

Review 24：This was an enjoyable stay. Accomodation near to beachfront and restuarants in the area. Breakfast could be a little more imaginative. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable too.

Review 27：The apartment has a modern feel with beautiful décor. It is something I did not expect in East London. The location is great. You can walk to Grazia (literally across the street), Café Neo, Windmill, Spar. We will definitely be staying there again in future, I think it is officially my new East London accommodation. The staff is also extremely friendly

Review 34：When there was load shedding they could have let the people staying there that there is a scheduled load shedding that day and to put lanterns or torch or candles in the rooms. When the lights went off I could not see anything in the room and it was too dark to walk through the passages to find a staff member. Someone had left a bottle of cigarette buds in water on the balcony of my room. There was drunk people walking in the corridor of where my room was and they were very loud.

Staff in reception excellent. Kitchen staff little slow but food.... oh my word was stunning. Would still love to go back. Location is great. Review 102：There was no hair dryer--and even the curling iron I purchased in South Africa would not plug into any of the outlets--although this was not a problem exclusive to this facility. I was not a fan of this location--the locked gate, locked doors and locked room were a little off-putting . I would not choose this place again. As a solo traveler it was in fact intimidating. I drove to the restaurant not 100 meters away--and parked right outside the door when in any other circumstance walking would have been an option. It was noisy, inside the House.people coming and going conversations overheard and someone even, more than once, trying to get in my room jiggling the door handle .No outdoor space. No privacy.

Review 103：The rooms were well appointed , linens and other trappings very comfortable. Room amenities ,very nice. I felt the car parking was secure because of the radio controlled gate.
