Reviews for Tahoe Mountain Resorts Lodging

Review 1:Really no issues. A Nespresso machine instead of ordinary coffee maker would be really nice, but that's just me.

Review 2:Very much met my expectations, for this price point. High quality fixtures, beds were as advertised, no surprises or disappointments. Nothing "over the top" except that the location couldn't be better. Steps away from ski school, gondola, etc. Covered parking was convenient, plentiful, convenient. No problems.

Review 3:If we had to suggest anything to improve - and it's so minor - perhaps the blinds in the master bedroom should be curtains? The village has continuous lighting which isn't cut out so well by the current timber blinds.

Review 4:We are not skiers at all, yet our stay at Tahoe was so memorable with our decision to stay 4 nites at Northstar. The room we had (Catamount Lodge) was located on one of the higher floors overlooking the village and was absolutely perfect. Kitchen, lounge, dining are all combined and decorated nicely for this high-end cabin feel. Stereo and TV were also a sound buffs paradise - something we would have at home in a flash. The whole Tahoe experience was made perfect for us with the village atmosphere and services - even caught a movie there!

Review 5:Not much going on at night.

Review 6:I absolutely loved Northstar. I had been before. I have a big family and we had a great time. Walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay there again.

Review 7:Very comfortable, well appointed and spacious accommodation including kitchen facilities. Set in a ski village complex. We visited for two nights in early October, so some facilities were not open, but had excellent food in the Italian and Japanese restaurants. In the high Sierras, a short drive from North Lake Tahoe, Donner Lake and Truckee. Great value.

Review 8:Couple of minor things that I'm sure would get fixed before peak season. Running toilet ins master bathroom. Strange smell in the main living area noticed particularly on the morning of checkout.

Review 9:Very comfortable room and nice surroundings. Everything very clean. Kitchen well equipped. Lake Tahoe, groceries, restaurants all nearby.

Review 10:A little bit out of town and not much life in the village (I guess it was a bit out of season).

Review 11:1 bedroom apartment was superbly equipped - fridge, freezer, dishwasher, drier, washing machine. Plenty of room and equipped and maintained to a very high standard. Free Wifi was very quick and ample for Facetime and some streaming video.

Review 12:Didn't like that it felt a bit vacant and there was no way to turn off the heater or a/c. It was automatic and had to blow air every 20 minutes or so to keep the room at a set temperature.

Review 13:Gas fireplace was great. Stayed at Catamount Room 211. Clean and cozy after making the place feel like home.

Review 14:There was some construction going on while we were there. They started at 7:00 am, which made it hard to sleep in.

Review 15:Everything was very nice, from the staff to the room.

Review 16:1. Bad bed. It was twin beds put together with a form pad in the middle. They called it a king suite. 2. Table lamps did not match. 3. Room very small for the price you pay. 4. You have to walk outside to the village to get to the gym and spa. 5. No ice machine. 6. Squaw valley gives you a better room for the same price $250 a night.

Review 17:Location

Review 18:Nothing really

Review 19:We certainly liked the location, close to th lake and also close to historic Truckee. When the weather did not cooperate the pool and fitness center came in very handy. Having a kitchen was a plus....when we did go out to eat we chose some great places...Jax by the tracks in Truckee was great.

Review 20:Could take awhile to get basic necessities from staff. If you stay a week like we did you only get 1 maid service so be prepared to do all the cleaning yourself.

Review 21:Nice amenities including fully stocked kitchen which was large enough you could easily prepare meals in. Comfortable king size bed and queen size pull out enabled good sleeping arrangements.

Review 22:Way to expensive

Review 23:No free coffee each night

Review 24:The experience was fabulous. Enjoyed the stay very much. The space was perfect.

Review 25:This place was awesome.

Review 26:Chech-in time is a little too late (5pm) and check-out is too early(10am), but we actually got in earlier than 5pm .

Review 27:Almost everything

Review 28:Felt the price was a bit steep for the season.

Review 29:Included a washing machine and dryer in unit. Full kitchen was nice too.

Review 30:Beautiful location with European feel

Review 31:Inaccurate information from the front desk

Review 32:High class apartment with comprehensive facilities.

Review 33:More of a ski resort. A little far from the lake

Review 34:Really nice.

Review 35:Wonderful amenities and gorgeous location! I would recommend for anyone to stay at tahoe mountain resorts.

Review 36:Concierge Coffee at front desk Nice views Activities Shops Close to North Shore

Review 37:Unattractive view from lanai. (Chairlift boarding)

Review 38:Slate floors, great kitchen, beautiful bath, roomy

Review 39:the polyester blankets. At this price, there should be nicer blankets/comforters than these thin polyester blankets

Review 40:really nice and modern apartment; excellent location and strong focus on convenience.

Review 41:Most of the restaurants and shops close down early in the summer.

Review 42:Fitness center, everything, quiet, bungey trampoline, activities, Laketahoe so close. The kitchen in the room.

Review 43:It is a seven mile drive every time that you want to visit Lake Tahoe.

Review 44:Despite the fact that our stay was mid summer, the resort was not crowded. It was also a good value for 4 people to stay.

Review 45:Was not informed prior to check in, or after check in, that 80-90% of the resort stores and recreation activities were closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays.

Review 46:Excellant location. The gondola to ride up the mountain was right at the resort. WiFi was fairly good and always available. Easy 10 minute drive to North end of Lake Tahoe. Easy 10 minute drive to Truckee. Concierge was very helpful.

Review 47:The gourmet kitchen
