Review 1：The staff wasn't friendly. I had previously asked for a quiet room if possible. I guess it wasn't possible because the first 2 out of 3 nights we couldn't get a good nights rest because of people being loud and slamming doors and banging around. The king size bed was hard as a rock. Allergic to the feather pillows. The shower had hairs all over the walls before we had even used it. I had to clean it myself because no one came to tidy our room or even give us new towels until 2 days into our stay. I had to call the front desk and complain about the people below us and there wasn't much that could be done. I would rather spend the extra money and stay elsewhere where I know it'll be cleaned daily, comfortable bed, friendlier staff, and walls that are not paper thin. Sure the photos look nice but was missing the comfort of a nice "inn".

Review 4：Great location for what we wanted-close to Settlers Green. Very clean, great views from both front and back, and very quiet. One of the better places we have stayed. Would easily recommend this as a place to stay in NC.
Review 5：We chose Golden Gables Inn based on previous reviews, and it lived up to our expectations. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. I would definitely return -- in fact, have now put Golden Gables at the top of my list of Mount Washington Valley hotels (and I've been to several over the years).
Review 6：Very friendly and helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. Wi-fi was good, morning coffee was a nice touch. Very close to area shopping, both the big chains and outlet stores and the local country and specialty stores.
Review 7：Our two bedroom suite was amazing!! Perfect to come back to after a day of skiing and being outdoors. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was great to have. The suite had everything we needed in it!

Review 13：The hotel was very pretty. The location was outstanding. The city is cute and fun and quaint. Lots to do. It's right down the street from the Conway scenic Railroad. Everything about the hotel was lovely.
Review 14：Could not contact Golden Gables, no answering service for messages.Trying to arrange for late arrival, ended up sleeping in car outsideoffice. Good thing there was a Dunkin Donuts open 24 hours down thestreet. Booking.com could not reach anyone either.

Review 16：no outdoor lighting late evening/early morning. We left at 4:30 a.m. one day to travel north to see moose, and I almost fell down the stairs! There was not a single outdoor safety light on in the whole property. Luckily, my husband grabbed me by the arm in time!!!

Review 20：The only thing we really did not like was the bed. It was not comfortable and the mattress needs to be replaced. This one thing would make us think twice about staying here again unless you can assure us it is a new mattress.
Review 21：The location, the setting with the pool the barbecue and fire-pit area, the room size, having a fridge and a balcony, and the bathroom were all great. Plus you lent us a DVR so we could watch movies.
Review 22：The room price is a bit on the high side and the cleaning staff didn't do much but change towels. We were in the suite for 3 nights & it was not vaccumed all weekend. With children ages 2 & 7 this can be an issue.
Review 23：I stayed with my wife and my daughter's family. We loved the double king suite. We were at the North Conway Grand last year and we preferred your facility. This was mainly due to the fact that it was much more quiet at yours! The children loved the fact that the train passes by, and they enjoyed the pool and playground.
Review 24：Although the room was very clean and comfortable I would recommend a room on the upper level. We were on the lower level and could hear every step the family above us took. Very annoying at 7:00 am:(

Review 27：We enjoyed the comfortable king size bed. It was nice to relax in the hottub after a day of activity. There is a nice patio for grilling and dining out side with your family, and the firepit seemed quite popular.

Review 30：Didn't get good wifi in your rooms at all, and the ac in one unit didn't work very well but they had fixed it the next day. And in time being they did accommodate with a fan.
Review 31：Very friendly staff, let us use a DVD player for our toddlers at no charge. The hotel suite was very clean and spacious, fully equipped kitchen and they keep the pool heated even in the summer which was nice for the couple days. The kids truly had a blast, we will definitely be back!!

Review 36：Outstanding accommodations with everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen accessories (plates, glasses, bottle opener, mixing bowls, etc...). Having it all there provides the comfort of vacation home rental without the stress of cleaning. This place is a gem!!!

Review 49：I traveled with a group of friends and we were all impressed by the appeal, comfort, and cleanliness of the 2 bedroom suite. It provided enough room for 6 people comfortably and the location was extemely convenient!! We went to Cranmore for tubing/activities which was only 7 min away and well worth the visit! Also close to plenty other attractions, outlets, restaurants, and activities!

Review 52：I booked this hotel as a ski getaway weekend for my husband and I. I hadn't see the hotel prior but went by the reviews. We loved this hotel. We had a king bed room which was perfect for the two of us. It was spacious and clean. It's close by to everything and the staff was wonderful. We arrived very late and they welcomed us. We will definitely be back. I think that it's little secret spot.
