Review 1：The experience wasn't bad at all, in fact quite amazing, but the rooms were a tad small and this was not stated on the website.

Review 9：The wifi signal was VERY poor. If you are going to advertise free wifi, most potential customers assume that means high speed, functional wifi. This was neither.

Review 10：Loved how quaint and cute the room was. Very cottagy and perfect for an overnight stay. Even though it was small, it had a microwave and fridge, and AC. And the showerhead was perfect! Didn't have to fiddle to get the right temperature or pressure. One of the best hotel showers I've used.

Review 17：I was waiting for a blow dryer for two days, asked the first day afterhour they say might get it next day, took a shower at the first daywaited until 5:00am to get naturaly dried out my hair I can't sleepwith wet hair I did mentioned them also, I ll get sick & get a earpain. That's what exactly happened I couldn't go to my snorklingand scuba diving because of that the next day, they question you if youhave it then they don't take you. So I planed to stay longer to domy diving and snorkling this was the whole porpuse of being here, untilnow it is undisided cause I still have my ear pain, and I have to leavetomorrow. I got medication to help my get ride of my ear pain so I cango tomorrow morning. This trip was horrible not relaxing, looking fornew hotel to move from Hermosa rotch place, luckly cross street I foundroom at ATwater, excelent place feel like home, so tired not everrelaxed the first three days, moving running around cancelling appt. Fordiving...., Calling and cacelling dmv appt. For Thursday 9:00am waitingon the phone hrs left a message never got back to me, No WiFi connectionin the room big lie even my neighbors complained. Ask them if they canget connected answer was no they said on Web says yes but no connectionat all even in the lobby I tried more than half an hour. It says WiFiavailabe to get people in. I walked to Catalina Express to cacell ticketfor 16th I have to pay extra money for cancellation. Omg forgot tomention about mattrass cover, Head of my bed was attached to kitchencounter I split coffee at night time, I tried to clean it as soon as Itured the bed sheet disgasting yellow ugly stain underneath, How couldyou sleep like that I stayed up all night and packed to move to anotherHotel, scratching my body all over, took a shower at mid night stilldidn't help. First day when I got in tried to wash my hands, hugehair ball in the basket of where the showere gel and soap was.

Review 19：The room needs major cleaning and updating. The floors were dirty. My one year old couldn't crawl around. The sofa in family room smelled terrible. I couldn't sit in the room that room with my family. It looked like a child decorated and renovated the place. The shades were dirty and old. This room should have been called 133Dive.

Review 21：When we first arrived at the Cottage there was only two bath towels, so then we had to go to the office to let them know what we didn't have. Our stay was 6 days we never received any face cloths only two hand towels. The toilet, sink or floor was never cleaned the whole time we were there.

Review 23：Really thin walls, super loud if your close to the sidewalk/street. A/c only in one room where it has a timer knob of 2 hours max. Super small shower, super small everything really including the kitchen. Ice machine is in main hall down stairs from where you stay. But again you get what you pay for.

Review 34：I spent two nights in this hotel, and was comfortable both nights. I stayed once in a cabin with a kitchenette and once in an upstairs room. The cabin was quiet and spacious. The upstairs room's bathroom was large.

Review 35：The heat pump is on a two hour timer and has to be reset every two hours in order to maintain heat. Fortunately it wasn't too cold outside so it worked out fine for us.

Review 36：We stayed in one of the cottages and although it was a little cramped it was great for the money. The room was clean and the distance to he beach is only about 100 yds.

I'm not talking like" nailing a picture" construction, but they are building a full on new hotel. Within feet of the cabin. Early morning wake up call of chop saws, hammering, heavy equipment, workers yelling, welders you name it. Would have been nice to have known. So much for rest on my birthday

Review 39：I had booked two double rooms, when we arrived I was told they had set us up to be in rooms that were next to each other so we could stay near each other. Then I was told that one of the rooms had had the heating unit break and upgraded to a family unit for free. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice, in the future I will definitely rebook for a family unit.

Review 40：Room was basic, but comfortable & clean. Older hotel with helpful staff. Convenience, not luxury. Beds were surprisingly comfy. Microwave and mini-frig in room were a great asset and saved us a little $. Lots of stairs was no issue for us; if disabled or older person, you'd need to request a 1st flr room. Good location.

Review 42：Always stay there when I go to Catalina. Most convenient bungalows are nice. This time over the movie rental store . Lovely porch. Shower water hot. They give a lot of shampoo towels other amenities. Coffee fridge microwave and stove with oven and all kitchen stuff. Aircondition and fans.

Review 43：This experience was awful. After our first night, we packed up and went to a different hotel. The staff did not even ask why we were leaving or offer refunding my money for the second night.

Review 44：The floor in the kitchen was filthy upon our arrival and when the maid came midweek (we kept our do not disturb sign up until then) she still failed to clean the floors. I finally washed them with wet paper towels because they were so bad, I could no longer stand walking on them. :(

Review 54：I liked that it included wifi since I did have an assignment due. The wifi signal was weak in our room but there was a chair in front of our room where I sat and the wifi was great. They also offered their lobby if needed. For some reason we were given two beds instead of one but that was okay because the first morning after waking I was sore. The next night I used the other bed and it was rather comfortable. Our room was equipped with a microwave and fridge which came in use. I was glad to have one with a bathroom though the water pressure wasn't great we still had a bathroom! One set of towels rule worked out fine as they gave us 2 each. If it were a problem the laundry mat isn't very far. Only complaint from my fiance was that the air conditioning was on a timer. A few times we woke up from getting hot and had to turn it back on. Location was good and we had a great time on the island.

It was really noisy because it was right on the street and people were sitting on the steps until after midnight talking very loudly. The air conditioning was on a timer so every few hours we had to get up in the night to reset it.

Review 63：Really bad customer service.. When we checked in they gave our room to someone else and thn still charged us for the room.. manager tried to make up by giving us an extra room... was not good at all because we had all came as a group!!!.

Review 64：It was a bit run down, but very clean. There are stairs at all the entrances, making it difficult to drag your suitcases up. That's to be expected since it was built in the 1890's and it does have a lot of character.

The cottage was VERY small and needed some cleaning, especially in the shower and kitchen. Only 2 towels for our three day stay? The AC was very loud and if you didn't run it, it got VERY hot inside.

Review 68：We had construction the whole time ! We arrived early and were let in our room late and they wanted us out exactly at 11 ! The rooms where small and when I made the reservation it said anything special for this trip I stated it was our honeymoon and nothing was done !

Review 70：I didn't like the filthy shower curtain or cold shower water in the mornings around 7am. I didn't like the weird, watered down shampoo that the hotel provided. Many people go on early morning excursions so they must shower early and the hot water runs out. However, I did not experience this at any other time of day.

Review 71：I liked the location. My children were 16, 14 and 10 at the time of travel and were able to go to and from the beach on their own.

Review 72：While our stary you can notice that these items needed to be replaced, our bed had a 1980's headboard, anytime you would turn it would make a squeek sound as if it was going to break at any moment.

Review 75：The hotel is set up for scuba divers. It had a spot in the side of the hotel to rinse equipment after a dive and the have carts to pull equipment to the beach. The room was clean an we were able to get a good nights sleep.

Review 76：Rm 50 is undoubtedly the worst possible Rm. Right on the street, there was a great deal of noise even though there is nothing on that street. AIr conditioning on timer for two hours. Had to get up three times to turn it back on - not to cool the room but to block the noise. Room very small as was bed. Other rooms away from the street are probably much better.
