Review 1:Place looked a bit old. Lift very small and not easy to open and close especially if you have luggage. Was very noisy. Wifi seemed to be limited to a few megabytes. Could not connect with my tablet only with laptop and also kept getting web browser messages that the ssl certificate did not match the hotspot url. Parking looked like it could use a little face lift and could not be accessed directly through the hotel. This is a big problem when it's raining.

Review 2:Close to the sea. Staff was friendly. The double room was spacious.

Review 4:Suited needs for the particular stay - didn't need to use any of the hotel's facilities, we just needed a bed at night!

Review 5:Lifts are way too small for four people with luggage (States four people maximum in the lift). Hardly enough space for two people even without luggage.

Review 9:I nearly cancelled my booking with you guyz because of the comments on the internet. The way it is potrayed its like some dodgy hotel in a scary location.The room was very cold though but I requested a heater on a 3rd day and was provided immeadiately.

Review 10:The hotel is ok, staff extremely friendly and make u feel at home. Coming to a clean room everyday when i come back from sightseeing.

Review 19:Power outage there are no emergency lights in the corridors and roomsyou walk in the dark .As a safety precaution one will get hurt thisneeds urgent attention indeed.aGAIN they must instal;l proper airconditioning as a fan literaly stirs the hot humid air in the room ,eastlondon is hot and humid so was sweating as if im in a sauna .

Review 23:The location of the parking... which you pay extra for... is around the corner so we had to walk with luggage. The hotel smell like cheap cologne. They wanted to charge full price for veg bfast. The shower leaked. The bed had stains. The room was tiny and loud noise of the building aircon next door. Just pretty rough all round.

Review 31:There is a loading bay in front of the hotel but the doorman would not allow us to offload or park to check in there. We had to park up the street where the first thing that happened was that I was accosted by a drunk begging for money. The Buffet at R180 (which I could not charge to my room) was at best mediocre and all the food was cold. No flowers or any adornment on the ice cold restaurant tables. The bedrooms were dated but none the less nice. The bed was, however, shocking and my wife and I hardly slept for the springs pressing into us from the ancient mattress. For this reason I will not ever return to this hotel.

Review 96:The staff compliment at the hotel was amazing, extremely curtious, fromthe reception staff to the restaurant staff as well as house keeping.

Review 97:The room was advertised as being airconditioned and having ahairdryer.There was a fan and no hairdryer. The surrounding place was unexpected,down the road from the beach but had an element of being unsafe withlots of hobos in the area. It was not what we had expected.

Review 100:I reserved a standard double room that specified airconditioning and the room did not have it. One morning the bathroom in the deluxe room did not have water but just a little cold water. There is no room service. Water is dripping from the top of the window in the std room. Water is dripping from the wall in the lounge waiting area. The lifts are very small. Only two person fit or four if you like mouth to mouth. One lift has a trellidoor that you can put your hand through and probably loose it while traversing. For the price of the breakfast and dinner we could have eaten twice at a restaurant and the variaty was not enough otherwise the price would not have been an issue. Little fruit flies was over the food. The bar lounge aircon did not work. Drinks were very expensive. The neighbourhood is terrible and dangerous.

Review 101:The food was good. Rooms were nice and quite. The aircon was very cool. Deluxe room is very spacious. Porter service is good. Room cleaners was very good.

Review 102:No access to meals. When I made my booking it said there was no mealoption with the type of booking so I thought it meant I would not haveany choice but to get what the hotel was providing at any time, I neverthought it meant I would have to buy my own meals. It was verydissapointing to learn that on the day I checked in. I suggest you makeit clear that no meals will be provided period coz this "nooption" is not clear at all.

When I arrive in Pretoria on 03/01/2012 Ilooked at the invoice and find out that I was charged breakfast for thatday though I was checking in after 15h00.I Still ask myself as to why Iwas charged though I was not yet in to the Hotel on breakfast time.

I would like to commendabout the old man who is a waiter at the restaurant, Mr Sam Tebeka whomI have found to be so amazingly friendly and excellent to his job, aperson who loves his job having a smile and helpful to clientsthroughout the service.
