Review 1：I had called twice to try and make sure a crib would be available for the baby. We arrived at 10.30 with an exhausted baby,met very unhelpful receptionist who told us no idea if we could get a crib. We did in the end but it was stressful. Most of staff were good but some at desk and in restaurant were far from pleasant. Found there was $20 per day per room charge for Internet,valet parking etc. Internet went out all the time. In the end after much complaining our son in law got this charge waived. Also said on website that there were barbecues but these were only for condos,not for resort guests. I got the feeling that people who had not booked directly with the resort got poorer rooms and less amenities.

Review 2：Enjoyed pools and jacuzzi

Review 3：Upon arrival were told by kauai resort that gaia had not informed them of our booking. No rooms available even in nearby hotels! Kauai staff went out of their way to assist and ultimately we got a room at kauai resort. Initially Gaiai was not reachable but next day they apologized. Imagine how we felt after travelling all the way from thailand for our honeymoon and no room!! I do not wish this to anyone ..... Ps - kauai resort staff were super!

Review 5：Good Location; big property, free parking, well equipped room

Review 6：The Room we booked was a privately owned room in the Kuaui Beach Resort and we were not aware of this when we booked. There were additional charges for cleaning and fresh linen which we were not aware of and which you don't expect when staying in such a resort. The owner was extremely rude when we tried to discuss these issues with her.

Review 7：The staff at Kuaui Beach Resort were excellent and were most helpful and courteous. The facilities were also excellent.

Review 8：the fact that we did not book with the hotel itself but with the owner of the room. that was not clear at booking.com. for this reason we had no contact person in the hotel for complaints about the room and the time of availability.

Review 10：Help with printing boarding pass was very disappointing. Two employees said "Go to the Business Center" The Business center tablet was not working... no help in sight. Very cold feeling.

Review 12：Facilities and maintenance are very poor. Internet is non-existent after 7:30 AM and before 12 Midnight even though you need to pay extra for this. Place is very dated and feels "sticky" all over kind of like going to Denny's instead of CPK.

Review 14：We were told that check in was from 3pm onwards. However, the room was not cleaned and ready to check in until after 7:30pm! As we arrived in the morning, we had to waste an entire day, until we finally were able to check in. Owner was very apologetic. The resort contains 13 privately owned units (not controlled by resort).

Review 15：Good central location. Nice tidy room with good amenities. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Car rental available from resort. Nice pool with several artificial waterfalls. Nice ambience.

Review 16：I wish the beach wasn't rip tide prone, not really a fault of the resort, but maybe it might be worth investing in some sort of way to make the ocean waves less crazy.. Get some rocks from the mainland to act as breakwater?

Review 20：The room is privately owned and managed through the hotel. So they dingyou on a registration fee, which wasn't crazy bad but a surprise.Maybe all told $50 extra for two days. Internet was a total bust. It maybe called a resort, and that may be reaching. Portuguese man o' warwarning on the beach! And quite a trashy beach!

Review 21：Location wise for me you can't beat it. Reason being as a base youcan reach all kauai's attractions easier. It's central. You cango south to waimea and make a day of it and north to wainiha, hanalei,princeville on another day. It’s a nice pleasant drive either way, nottoo long. If you started in princeville, all the attractions fromhelicopter rides, horse trails including waimea would be a haul! But ifyou are into beaches, water sports then this location is too far. Myopinion the beaches here aren’t as excellent as the beaches that linethe northern dive from princeville to the end of the road.

Review 22：I enjoyed my short stay very much, staff was very helpful to me. My view from my room was beautiful and very comfortable. It was close to the airport, which helpful when my family came to pick me up from the airport.

Review 25：First of all the way they charged us was totally unclear, when we got there they told us that we had to pay an extra fee for the third person because they thought we were two instead f three but this was actually clearly specified in the booking. There isn't a fast lane for the check out but you have to follow the line for the check in which is very slow. we were late for our flight and there was a long line so we asked the lady at the reception to take our keys and she replied that if she lost one of the key we would have been charged for 30 $ for each key!! the restaurant closes at 10pm. we got there at 9:55 and they told us it was closed. After a bit of argument they agreed to cook a quick meal.
