Review 1：View from balcony partial obscured by room and HVAC equipment on adjoining building. Terrible coffee (watery, flavorless, served in styrofoam cups) Breakfast included but not great.

Review 5：I had seen the online description and expected it to be nice. But it surpassed my expectations with the convenience of a nice restaurant on the beach next door. My room had a great view of the ocean, the front desk service was excellent and there is so much about the made to order complimentary breakfast every morning that makes you want to rush out of bed. It's like having your own special breakfast chef. It's really a great quiet hotel experience.

Review 9：I arrived at 1640 hours and my assigned room was still occupied. They imediately sent me to a different room, with a notorious upgrade. The way things should always be, but rarely ocurrs.

Review 10：The staff was really friendly. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. It was right in front of the ocean. They had a great morning breakfast,. They even provided chairs and towels at the beach. It was a really nice place. We would definitely stay there again. We would recommend it to anyone. The price of the hotel was affordable.

The rooms are smaller than most hotels but were very well decorated and very cozy, the bed was very comfortable.

Review 14：The location of this hotel is excellent. A stone throw from the beach. Amelia Island is picture perfect. A place we stumbled on by chance and feel very lucky to have found. we were treated warmly and courteously through out our stay. We had originally booked for one night but stayed an extra night because we liked it so much. The restaurant next door (Sandy Bottoms) does lovely seafood in a relaxed casual attitude.

Review 25：I rented the room for my boyfriends 52 bday and was excellent choice.The room was pretty and sooo fresh. The staff let us check in early. So very quickly we were in our room.They greeted us with a smile and that is sometimes rare to find these days. The breakfast was great and the chef cooked the eggs over easy to perfection. His friendliness and smile only added to our wonderful stay. The roof top sundeck gave us an amazin view for a perfect sunrise. So romantic and peaceful.The view from our room was awesome.We were very pleased with our stay and will come again asap. Thanks again to the hotel,the smiling chef and the excellent staff for making my boyfriends Bday so special!

Review 30：Maid came at 2:00 in the afternoon. We had just returned from being out all morning and missed out on clean towels, etc. Had to go to front desk later in the day to get fresh washcloths. Front desk should have Amelia Island Value Cards available for guests. We missed out on quite a few savings at local businesses because we didn't know about this card until after we had done most of our shopping.

We had eggs, bacon, pancakes, fruit, coffee, & juice.

Always a great value for our money.

Review 92：The room was terrible. Extremely, uncomfortably small. The "king" sized bed was actually a "queen" bed. The phone didn't work. You basically had to leave the room to allow a call to come in.. The room was smaller than a cheap hotel room in New York City. It claims that it was comfortably fit 4 people; it cannot. The space between the bed and the wall is barely wide enough for walking space. The balcony was also very small, equipped with two small plastic chairs and an even smaller plastic table. The room was one of the most uncomfortable rooms I've ever been in.

Review 93：I absolutely loved the location, right on the beach! No need the walk over sand dunes and carry your beach supplies for long. The breakfast was wonderful, made to order, and fresh.

Review 94：Need more tables & chairs for all to sit to enjoy breakfast. Many guests linger and there were not enough places to sit. I think Pete needed an extra hand with preparing breakfast....at least from 8 - 10 when it is consistantly busy during season. An extra hand may help the line go a little quicker. Suggestion: Give numbers to guests for their turn to come up and place their order. All guest stand in a line, afraid of losing their turn...and they line blocks access to many of the food stations. It would be more comfortable for guests and less pressure on Pete. Even some light music might help pass the time. I thought about letting us write down our orders....but then we would not know how long till our food is ready....to know when when we should prepare our toast, etc.

Review 95：We were 2 adults and a 9 year old in a bedroom suite with overview balcony. Room was very clean....including the fold out couch. The linens were very nice. It wasn't the biggest room we have ever stayed in....but it was laid out well and we had everything we needed. The staff, from the moment we checked in, were over the top accomodating anything we needed, including recommendations for local fare. Harriet made us feel like family. The beach is right out the door. Fort Cinch State Park entrance is not even a block away. And historic downtown Fernandina is a direct 5 minutes drive from the Inn. Pete prepares a hot & full breakfast to order each morning from 7 - 10. We are looking forward to our next visit. The rooftop was nice too...and the availability of computer access + free wifi....all big plus's.

Review 102：It seems there is mid-communication between booking. Com and the hotel. Booking will tell you you have to get a receipt from the hotel and the hotel says to get it from booking. Booking also gives prices without taxes which is not the final total costs- so if you need a receipt for am expense report be prepared for a hassle
