Review 1：The hotel is well located next to the beach and a pleasant 10 minute walk from the centre of Old Town and the restaurants, bars and shops. The room was clean, smart and comfortable. The staff helpful and the reception area a nice place for coffee and light breakfasts.

Review 2：The hotel advertises itself as a boutique hotel. However, it is just a really nice motel with nothing really special except the location next to the beach. E.g. the breakfast was served on the paper plates. Our room was quite dark and we didn't have any view from the window as it was behind a pillar. The room (twin with queen beds) was quite small.

Review 6：The location was excellent...we just walked out of our room and crossed the road to the beach. The staff was wonderful and we were offered chairs and beach towels at the desk. They had a great continental breakfast for starting your day. The room was clean and and comfortable. We had a great stay!!

Review 12：Lovely view from our balcony and very close to the beach. Everything we needed and they lent you beach towels and beach chairs. We didn't expect breakfast as our print out said no meal option taken, so the free continental was very acceptable.

Review 13：The floor in the kitchen had not been cleaned. We found popcorn and a peanut and dust and dirt in the corner, when we pulled put the table. With 6 of us in the kitchen we needed the table away from the wall to accommodate us. Did not let the children go barefoot after that!!!

Review 15：We loved that it was walking distance to down town, and the beach. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. They provided, fruit, bottle water, coffee and tea until 10 pm. The staff gave us tips on some great restaurants that the locals eat.

Review 28：The only complaints I had were 1) couldn't get my phone to make local or long distance calls ( but the staff let me use their phone behind the desk, AND run my boarding pass for my flight on their computer). and 2) didn't have hot water for shower one morning.

Review 30：Air conditioner was broken. Bed was horrible along with pillows. She didchange us to a suite which was ok. Next day he had to move out of thatroom so we checked out. Your hotel is run down,was not the same as 8 yrsago when we stayed last. Would not return or recommend.

A small sign in the upstairs rooms saying ' please consider the guests in room below' That was our only concern hearing your neighbour using the toilet then flushing the loo is different. Thankfully they did not snore all night.

Review 41：First time ever staying here and what a great place! No matter what time of the day, this hotel had snacks on hand and water to quench your thirst. Every morning was something different for the continental breakfast. Super clean, hotel staff on hand to help with any questions and go out of their way to find you answers. Beach chairs were all taken by other guests but they delivered 2 to my room when they were available. These people are wonderful and will make your stay with them unforgettable.

Review 50：One of the most relaxing places I stayed in many many years. We went there for our 35th wedding anniversary and it was like dating all over again. It's just wonderful. The staff is phenomenal, the rooms are immaculately clean, and the view is spectacular. I just can't say enough about this place.

Review 51：Loved the décor with the plantation shutters and my room even had a nice, private patio with a table and even a palm tree. The continental breakfast was great. When I went to the beach ( right across the street) I just stopped in the office and they loaned me 2 beach chairs and 2 beach towels. They even had an art display in the lobby and I purchased a stained glass painting from a local artist to remind me of my wonderful trip! Great restaurants like the Crow's Nest were just around the corner. I can't wait to get back for another visit!!

The staff was very helpful and always had a smile on their face, no wonder, must be the location :-) The beach was close, not crowded and had a Lifeguard on duty. Breakfast was plenty. Property was well kept and manicured. Continental breakfast was nothing fancy but adequate. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

Review 81：Having to share our breakfast time outside our room on the patio with the cleaning staff and their cleaning trolley who were waiting to service the rooms - felt rather pressured (not that the cleaning staff said anything) to vacate the room so that they could get on with their work. The quality of the sheets was dreadful and they didn't fit the beds. Our 2 night stay, I felt, was rather expensive.

Review 90：I think we probably had the worst room in the place. The patio was the only one with a view of a brick wall. The room was extremely small for four. There were two lumpy double beds. Not nearly the room I had anticipated when I booked the Deluxe Double Suite. The pictures and description indicated it would have a kitchen with a table and four chairs. It had a microwave and a mini fridge. No table - not that there was room for one. Just be cautious when you book so you have the room you want or think you're getting.

We had a gulf view, ground level room with a kitchen/dining area. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the air temperature in the room was easy to control. The building outside was attractive as were the gardens, brick walkways and outdoor pool area. The Venice beach across the street was just a few steps from our door. Our stay included a complimentary continental breakfast. We were very pleased with the accommodations and would definitely stay at the Inn at the Beach again.
