Review 1：Not value for money we asked and paid for ocean view and got a field with a view of the car park and glimpse of the ocean quite bad as the hotel was full so couldn't change and still got charged for "Ocean view" disgusting and misleading really!

Review 2：The location was excellent close to everything even the airport and convenient as a base to travel the rest of the island

Review 3：Cost of meals in hotel. Not able to park in the parking lot outside our hotel room (for employees only). Employees smoking in that area. Not able to get two regular coffee packages in room each day, instead of one decaffeinated and one regular package, without hunting down the maid.

Review 4：The weather (sunshine most days). Ability to rent a car at the hotel. Multiple pool options and two separate hot tubs. Clean room each day. Eating at FISH EXPRESS in Lihue, the helicopter tour with Blue Hawaii!

Review 24：The staff was too touristy...meaning not so genuine. I can't give them highest marks on their attitude. It was just ok.

Review 25：I arrived at around 8PM. The pool is open until 10PM which was very good to have a little moment to relax. I had to catch early flight the next morning, so my stay was very short. But overall my impression is that it is clean, comfortable and beautiful.

Review 26：Not a bad experience but you do need to contend with traffic at certain times of the day when entering the main highway. BTW, there is a $20/day hotel fee in addition to the room cost but it is made known at time of booking.

Review 27：The location was convenient in between Kapa'a and Lihue, minutes from the Airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did not spend much time on the property as we were there to play golf and was out much of the time. A clean, comfortable room in a convenient location.

Review 28：The walls are paper thin. You hear everything in the adjacent room andin the corridor.The ice machine and vendor machine were located in front of our bedroom. Super noisy since 6AM till late hours with people getting ice there. Terrible wi-fi connection Found a cockroach in the bathroom There's no hospitality room. In case you arrive early or have a flight departing at night you are "lost". Tough to describe all problems in 2 or 3 sentences as Booking suggests.

Review 30：The music on Sunday night was way too loud in the bar, impossible to have a conversation. I had to leave, I thought my head would explode. The quality of the music fine, just the decibel level would have been fine for a concert hall.

Review 31：I was very happy with the room, the pool and happy hour. It was beautiful without being pretentious and full of expensive shops like the Marriot. Everything was within an easy walk.

Review 32：Nothing Really bad, but you need a car to get to shops, restaurants, beaches etc. But most hotels on Kauai are the same. Cannot swim comfortably at beach, very strong current, lot of debris on beach.

Review 35：Gazing upon the marmalade sky, feeling the soft vibration of the crashing waves and listening to the cascading water falls into the pool from your own personal deck is hard to beat.

Nice amenities, five pools, two hot tubs, restaurants, bars ocean front location, cultural activities, and a free hula show with free cocktails on Tuesday nights. Good price, only paid resort fee per room (no per person) and included parking, children under the age of 17 are free.

Review 43：The beach area is limited in front of the hotel and you cannot swim in that area. The wi-fi although is free has a system where you have to re-validate your device every time you log on and overall the wi-fi was pretty poor.

Review 44：The hotel was well placed in order to explore the island. The hotel was fairly new with good facilities including swimming pools, good dining facilities. Breakfast was included in our package and was very good.

Review 48：A real flavor of the tropics, birds singing, waves crashing, and Hawaiian lobby music, guests laughing and all having a marvelous time. The Kauai Beach Resort facilitated good kharma, happy times, and memorable experiences. My room smelled fresh each day, sooo clean, and the Guests Services asked how our day was, throughout the day, and on a daily basis --genuinely friendly, helpful and kind.

Review 50：Close to the airport after a long flight. Able to check in early and straight to the pool. Lots of sun lounges around the 4 pools. Resort fee of $20 but that included parking and Wifi.

Review 51：We booked the breakfast-included rate but did not receive our vouchers when checking in, so we were a bit confused and had actually paid for breakfast the first morning before asking the front desk and getting our vouchers. The charge was reversed, so no harm in the end. Everyone was still very friendly about it.

Review 52：The staff was super friendly and accommodating! Breakfast buffet was great, everything was fresh and tasty. I'm pretty sure the bed in our room was more comfortable than mine at home, and we slept well thanks to the quiet environment and door over the sliding door which could block out all light.

This made it difficult to research maps, weather forecasts, attractions, etc. Also, while conveniently located, it was very difficult to turn left to go to the airport late in the day due to heavy traffic. Not the hotel's problem, but a problem that will only get worse.

There is also a free shuttle to the mall to the shopping centre where Macy's and Ross' are. There is also a free shuttle to and from the airport. As a newcomer to Kauai, I felt safe and comfortable in their hands, The front desk girls planned an itinerary to the National Tropical Botanical Gardens by bus, including bus transfers! In general: The positives of this resort by far outweigh the negatives!

Review 85：The resort was just beautiful! From the reception area to Shutters Bar (with excellent live music!), the breakfast area/Restaurant (hugging a long Koi Pond), but above all the pool area with organically shaped pools and Jaccuzis (both of them with waterfalls) and the general lush landscaping - loved it! Staff was very friendly, and the rooms are nice. The location was quiet and isolated (which we liked). The beach is narrow, but stretches for miles. The lawn goes right up to it.

Review 87：I was traveling with friends and opted to stayed one last night after they left. I chose Kauai Beach Resort for it's proximity to the airport and the free shuttle service to the airport. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. In the evening I sat in the lobby talking to a local artisan while listening to the music from the lounge. I learned about some of the local history then went up to my room I slept soundly, awoke refreshed and left for the airport. The room was clean and even had a small refrigerator. I would stay here again.

Review 89：I had come here years ago and stayed at the timeshare side of this resort. This time I just needed a one night before my other lodging arrangements. It was every bit as nice this time as it was the first time I visited, if not BETTER! The grounds are kept picture perfect with all kinds of lush plants! The pools are great, the room was clean and nice! The breakfast buffet is to DIE for! YUMMY!!! The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful! Shuttle to and from the airport is a big plus! LOVED the spa massage benefits, as well! Nice Gift shop, and Concierge. Karen B. is SO sweet and helpful.

Review 101：Kauai Beach Resort is a great place to stay. The grounds are beautiful. You have three pools, plus a sand pool for the kids. It is right on the beach and it located right in the middle of the Island for easy access to anywhere.

Review 102：Cell phone and internet reception was horrible. They also don't charge a resort fee so you pay for daily parking and Wi-Fi separately if you need them. Beach towels were hard to get also as they were always out!!! I had to go back to the front desk a few times before they actually had clean beach towels available. My fiancée and I also purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy in our room during our stay and they did not have any wine bottle openers available for their guests. We stayed at the Sheraton Kauai for two days prior to arriving at the Kauai Beach Resort and they had all those amenities available to us--wish we could have stayed their for the duration of our trip to Kauai.

Review 104：In order to enjoy Kauai,you need to rent a car or take a tour. If you arrive early in the morning, the only thing you can do is take a hotel shuttle to the mall,take a taxi which is expensive or take a bus from the mall if you can find someone who really knows the bus system. The other concern was that our bathroom had mold over the fire alarm and at the top of the shower.

Review 105：We enjoyed this hotel because you could relax at the beach or pool and it was close to the airport. After a long flight, we just wanted to recuperate and enjoy some time to rest. The main restaurant was nice for breakfast and dinner even better.

Review 106：The location to Lahaina and the airport was perfect. The room was very clean and the facilities were always being maintained the entire week we were there. The food in both the restaraunts was very good and within the price range of others on the island. The staff at the front desk, concierge and everyone we talked to went above and beyond to answer our questions and make our honeymoon stay delightful! The three pools were a huge bonus, never feeling crowded or noisy.
