Review 1：The Best Western Heritage Inn was a wonderful place to stay for my friends and family attending a family reunion. Lydia at the front desk went out of her way to make our reservation smooth, and our stay terrific! She was so friendly, cheerful and very professional! Great value too! We would definitely recommend this hotel.
Review 2：The Only problem was with our keys. We didn't have any. The key machine was not working at the front desk. The night operator walked us to our room and let us in.

Review 15：The rate seemed reasonable however once I booked the room, I arrived at the location only to discover the Hotel had already been sold-out for the night in question. The Staff was very pleasant and assisted me in finding an alternate location to sleep. Never actually stayed at this location.
Review 16：Front desk clerk poorly trained or did not remember his training. Toldme twice he did not need my credit card even when offered to him. Isaid I had traveled in 4 continents and all 50 states and a cc wasalmost always required when checking in. The next day hotel calls me (Istayed 1 night) asking me for cc info. Told them I would call backwhich of course I never will. I offered to pay twice and payment wasdeclined by hotel.Then I got to room and when I opened the door the cigarette odor was overwhelming. I had reserved a non-smoking room weeks in advance but this was the last room I was told.

Review 20：Second week in a row that I have been overcharged. When I went into the office to talk about the overcharge the desk clerk was rude and lied to me. Told me she could not help me to call Booking direct. I did and when they tried to call her back she would not answer the phone. The week before I was charged a extra $25.00 and the wrong name was on the bill. I had to call and clear this up and again was told a different story.
Review 21：Highway noise through vent system was disturbing, probably more so being on the second level. The stairs handrails were difficult to grip --- may not be in code compliance?

Review 25：Room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke even though I had requested non smoking. Sheets all smelled like smoke as well. Light switch by door didn't work any of the lights in the room so in the dark you had to walk all the way across the room to the nearest Light to turn it on.

Review 28：We had 4 people in our room, it was a room with 2 queen beds. We only got 2 towels. When I went to ask for more towels I was told that they were short towels and didn't have anymore. I was given a couple small pool towels. We stayed for 2 nights, the same thing happened the next day. The look of the place definitely wasn't like any best western I had seen. It looked like a motel 8 with a best western sign.

Review 38：Can be a bit tricky to get into as you have to make a U-turn, and the first, most obvious intersection to do so is u-turn prohibited. Although it probably only affects our room (#120), there was a very squeaky board in the floor in the room above us. Bad enough that it woke us at 5:00 a.m.

Review 40：Someone knocked on my door at 3:30 am-when I asked who it was nobody responded. Five minutes later the phone range it was the front desk asking if I had ordered a blanket-which I never ordered. Are you kidding me? The front desk person obviously got a call from a room at 3:30 am and didn't right the room number down or did so incorrectly. So they guessed and knocked on my door at 3:30 am, then called me to confirm ie wake me up again-what incompetency!

Although this wasn't their fault... Ifyou'll be going to San Francisco on your visit, this really is justtoo far away. If you are crazy enough to attempt to live there and youare not solidly rich, Vacaville is the closest you can get and stillfind anything remotely close to an affordable place. This is literallytrue. But if you're only visiting... Stay closer than that.

Worse, though, we had requested and were confirmed for a downstairs room since I have multiple sclerosis. The hotel did not receive this info and we had to go upstairs. This was a definite hardship for me both going up and down, and could have put me at risk for a fall.
Review 53：The lighting feature that turned lights on and off in the restroom was nice, so we were not hunting for light switches when we got up in the night. When the registrar realized the error in our reservations (see below) we were upgraded to a larger room (upstairs, though).

Review 62：We have stayed here twice before, and most likely will return, the location is great, there are So many different places to eat, a grocery store a cross the street, The staff was very pleasant, The room very clean, and one of my favorite things is the bathrooms, there is a sink with a vanity for storage, inside of the bathroom with the shower and toilet, and another one right outside of the bathroom, So if someone is showering or using the toilet, they can close the door for privacy, and there is still the other vanity and sink that can be used at the same time, very convenient. When I get ready for the day it takes me alot longer than my partner, So I shower first, and while he is showering I am able to finish up, and we are done about the same time. Works out perfectly. That's my favorite part, Our stays at Best Western, have been great, the breakfast is pretty good as well, I totally recommend staying there No complaints at all
