Review 3：This was an absolute gem, real value for money, excellent food and a beautiful surprise. We stayed for one night before entering the Phalabowra gate right next door. I suggest you change your booking.com cover photo as it really doesn't do this beautiful hotel justice!

Review 6：The hotel is built around a swimming pool- our room was next to the swimming pool. A group of people turned the pool area into a shebeen. They partied all night until the early morning hours, Two nights in a row. We complained about it, but the staff failed to address it. Instead of being rested after our holiday, we were just tired. We even asked to speak to the manager, but was told they are on holiday and unavailable. No one was available to take control of the situation- very disappointed

Review 31：The Hat and Creek Restaurant attached to the Hotel prices were a bit over the top. The service was too slow and the restaurant was not at full occupancy. The waiters sometimes just walked right past you and ignored you. The New Year's Eve cocktail and snacks turned out to be a cocktail from a box at a glass each and the snacks were a bowl on popcorn, Lays chips, pretzels and peanuts at R150 a head. That was just pathetic.
