Reviews for Lyndon House Bed & Breakfast
Review 1:Bathtub could have used safety decals or rubber bath mat. Parking was difficult but improvements in progress.
Review 2:Host was personable and helpful. Excellent breakfast choices. Spacious and comfortable room. Our room had a nice view of garden.
Review 3:My door key did not work one time only! That's the only "bad" thing I can come up with!
Review 4:Loved the location close to downtown. Really fun local reasturants close by. Loved the beautifully served and delicious breakfasts! Very nice assortment of foods available . Quiet and relaxing home shared by the owner .... Very nice.
Review 5:Parking would be a little tight if the place was full, but he is in the process of increasing the area. Our room was in the back of the house, but if the room is in the front, the traffic may be a problem for a light sleeper. However, you must expect that for an urban b and b. We were looking for convenience to UofK Rubb arena which this place is.
Review 6:The owner Was so accommodating and informative. His eye for detail made the experience special. The breakfast very good with lots of pastries, fruit, and the best eggs I have ever eaten with crisp bacon. We were upgraded to a suite with lots of bright windows, big bathroom, and cozy sitting area. The king size bed was full of pillows and luxurious linens. Very nice place.
Review 7:While visiting our daughter at UK, we were so pleased to find Lyndon House. Our room was comfortable, breakfast was very good, and our host, Anton, was so pleasant and engaging.
Review 8:I can't think of anything I didn't like
Review 9:Awesome house, great breakfast with numerous items, great location, Owner was exceptional, private bath, lots of TV channels, individual room thermostats, huge elevator, comfortable bed -Thanks for a great stay Anton!!!
Review 10:Would like to have had a local and national newspaper in the morning. Not necessarily for every room but in the lobby to share.
Review 11:Location, breakfast was good, clean and nice staff
Review 12:Staying at the Lyndon House and our interesting conversations with Anton were the highlights of a very memorable trip to LEX. From now on the Lyndon House will be where we stay when we come to LEX. What a gem this B and B is!
Review 13:Water not hot enough for a bath. No breakfast or coffee provided one of the mornings.

Review 15:The owner is a true Gentleman.
Review 16:Clean, location was perfect, Anton was very courteous and helpful.
Review 17:Nothing
Review 18:Comfy bed in a large and quiet room with plenty of drawers. Having the use of a washing machine & drier was great.
Review 19:Price a bit high, but "seasonal";

Review 26:Friendliness of staff & owner. Accommodations were very comfortable. Wonderful breakfast. Lots of choices. Off street parking. Lovely home, porches inside & out.
Review 27:Very quiet, comfortable bed, spacious room, good cool temp in room, excellent breakfast, elevator, friendly owner/staff, easy and safe walking access to city/attractions, close driving access to distilleries and horse track/farms.
Review 28:The street outside the home is a rather busy intersection, and there are lots of emergency vehicles that pass by. The breakfast was very filling, but perhaps not quite as good as I've had at other B&Bs.
Review 29:The house is beautifully decorated for the period of the home. It has spacious hallways and relaxation areas. The bedrooms are comfortable and very nicely appointed. All towels and linens are first-rate, too.
Review 30:The house was beautiful with tons of charm!! Had a lot of extras that you wouldn't expect. The breakfast was great and staff was super friendly!! Great experience!
Review 31:Although the bedroom and bath were stocked with almost everything imaginable (toiletries, scissors, hairdryer, etc.), there was no clock in either room, which proved to be a handicap when making sure I got to breakfast during the designated time period. I had used up the battery on my cell phone by taking pix and surfing the web for local restaurant menus, so I couldn't use the cell phone's alarm clock feature. :-(
Review 32:Great location within easy walking distance of downtown Lexington. I did not move my car the whole time I was there. :-)
Review 33:Location not the best.
