Reviews for Inn at Lost Creek
Review 1:People were rude and unhelpful. Sleeping conditions were so bad it's almost funny if i hadn't paid $3,000 to sleep in the floor.
Review 2:Most uncomfortable bed I've ever tried to sleep on. I literally slept on the floor four nights in a row.
Review 3:We were in a studio which had two small love chairs instead of a single couch. A couch would have been a bit more comfortable.
Review 4:The staff are incredibly friendly! My husband and I travel a lot and this place has by far the best customer service we have ever experienced.
Review 5:We had pets close by and had excessive barking. Didn't pay attention to the fact that the hotel is pet friendly. I usually try to avoid pet friendly hotels
Review 6:Nice rooms and enjoyed central areas. We were there with 3 couples and enjoyed ourselves
Review 7:Stayed for 2 day, first was 100% booked, second day upgraded to a nicer room with better veiw. Peter, the concierge, was excellent and the people at the front desk extremely nice. Excellent full breakfast
Review 8:First room was in back of the building with 0 view and vis a vis. (401) + Parking not included.
Review 9:Staff responded swiftly to our complaints about first room that had no view and vis a vis.
Review 10:I thought the additional cost for the dogs was high, particularly considering the agreement that was signed to allow for the pets.
Review 11:The staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. The room was a great value and the location was fantastic!
Review 12:Studio had little room for clothes, bags. tayed in summer but hard to imagine staying in studio for winter ski trip. Also some noise from kitchen under studio window.
Review 13:beautiful facility and location.Use of gondola into town interesting. Good breakfast
Review 14:i didnt like that i got charged 580 dollars when youll said it would only be 490 dollars. i emailed youll and havent gotten a response yet
Review 15:very nice rooms
Review 16:small room, but very nice and clean!! would have rather had two queen beds than a fold out bed!! everything was wonderful!!!
Review 17:loved the details, cookies every night, a little new years gift, snacks in the lobby, warm cider, free breakfast, ski valet, ski in/ ski out!!!! it's the little things like that, that make the stay so comfortable!! thanks
Review 18:I cannot complain. It was more than we expected.
Review 19:We were a bit unsure about the location as never having been to Telluride before, but upon arriving, the staff was professional, hospitable and made us feel relaxed and at home. I think our room was upgraded as the space was amazing for the price. We had two balconies, amazing views, and appreciated how helpful the staff was. We stayed In Sept. 2014 at the height of leaf turning, and despite some wet and damp weather, the views were amazing. The gondola is right outside the door, making it very very easy to go into Telluride or simply explore the Mountain Village. The breakfast buffet that comes w/ the room, was the best we had anyplace. Real fruit, fresh juice, complete meal. If you like to eat healthy, you will love the breakfast. The restaurant inside the Inn, Talay, was fresh and fantastic despite they were getting ready to close for the season. It was high quality for the price.
Review 20:Front desk was a bit pushy when we arrived. We wanted time to decide on parking and felt we had to make a quick decision. However, we used the underground facility and were very pleased.
Review 21:We forgot some items in our room. The cleaning staff took them to the front desk, and the items were shipped to us.
Review 22:We were very impressed by how the staff went beyond what you would expect to make your experience a great one. If they did not know something they would make sure the found the information for you and follow up with you to make sure it was correct and helpful. The atmosphere and amenities were awesome also.
Review 23:can't think of one thing
Review 24:priced right, washer/dryer, kitchenette in room, quiet, attentive staff, steam shower, delicious full breakfast included...
Review 25:The surroundings and location speak for themselves - stunning! But the staff (particularly Bret at the desk and Richard who drove us all over) were extremely knowledgeable and helpful with knowing where to go and what to do first! People like that make all the difference in a hotel experience! Those guys are absolutely the elite in customer service and planning!
Review 26:The bedding did not initially include a blanket along with the sheet and comforter, but one was promptly supplied upon request.
Review 27:The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was quiet, the mattress was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfast offerings were superb.
Review 28:I thought that the $20.00 charge per night for parking at the facility was high.
Review 29:upon arrival my wife & I were greeted by the desk clerk & a young man named Garret who was the bellhop/valet/tour guide & a person tht this hotel should be very happy that he is employed there. The room was great with lots of room. Will stay here again.
Review 30:The most wonderful small hotel I have ever stayed with! The suite was beautiful with a fireplace , Spa tub and steam shower, kitchen and the best view! Best value for the money in Telluride in my opinion
Review 31:I hate to pay $20 to park my car in my hotel, but there is really no option in this town, and that cost is less than the few other options...the room cost is thus actually $20 more than whatever is listed.
Review 32:Staff was super! Every single person I encountered was friendly and helpful; they show the results of great training and understand what it means to work in the hospitality business. High service level in a casual environment.
Review 33:We had been looking into different places to book in Mountain Village and are blown away by the experience we had at the Inn at Lost Creek. The room was gorgeous, the staff was amazing. And within walking distance of the gondola
Review 34:I don't think I can find anything that we did not like. My mom was instantly ready to stay for another night, however they were fully booked.
Review 35:I took my mom here. She is 75 and when she saw the room, her jaw dropped and her eyes were wide open in awe. Neither of us is used to a hotel of this quality and I am glad I did not pass by the opportunity to stay here. From the time I walked into the lobby and was made to feel so welcome, to all of the facilities, the staff, beautiful room, orchid blossoms on the bed, great breakfast... We cannot say enough good things about the Inn at Lost Creek. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do not pass it by.
Review 36:I will definitely stay at the Inn again and recommend it to friends and family. Very nice place. The free breakfast was very good! Very easy to get to the town of Telluride on the gondola.
Review 37:When we turned on the water to take a shower it did not become warm. There was a problem and when we told the gentleman at the front desk heimmediately called the maintenance people to fix it. He did give us a $20.00 valet parking credit for the inconvenience to us.
Review 38:We liked everything. The room was small but clean, the bed very comfortable, the amenities were good. There is a restaurant in the inn and we ate there at night; Thai inspired and it was good, a gentleman played a guitar and sang, an extra bonus.
Review 39:Being on top of the mountain was much quieter and relaxing than down in the town would've been. The rooms had every amenity you could need for a night or week long stay. All of the staff were outgoing and helpful in any way they could be. We highly recommend the Inn at Lost Creek.
Review 40:I loved everything about the Inn, but because Linda was so incredible some of the other staff members seemed a little less genuine (the breakfast crew never seemed too awake or interested in the guests.) Matt who worked with Linda was also top-notch as was the bartender we had the first night. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name. He spoke to us about his poker exploits and had us laughing and giggling the whole time.
Review 41:LINDA! The Inn is perfect, but we will have hold memories for the rest of our lives because of Linda at the front desk. She was warm and welcoming, but she went above and beyond to get to know us and then recommend things for us to do and places to eat. I have only had one other hotel staff experience like this in my life and I have traveled extensively. I not only will recommend to anyone who will listen to stay at The Inn at Lost Creek, but more importantly I can't wait to return and hopefully Linda will have a HUGE promotion! Linda, thanks for not just being a "service specialist," but being interested in making special connections and creating special memories!!
Review 42:We liked everything about the hotel.
Review 43:We have stayed in many mountain towns in CO throughout the years and the staff at the Inn at Lost Creek were the best we have ever encountered. They were friendly, knowledgeable about the area, gave great recommendations, and were just generally very nice. Overall I would highly recommend this as a place to take your family or go as a couple. The rooms were great too. Ask for 702 because it has a nice balcony.
Review 44:All of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Charlie, who explained everything really well. The front desk staff were great too. We really enjoyed our stay there. Reserving the hot tub was a real plus, too! Breakfast also delicious.
Review 45:Everything was fantastic, and we stay at several hotels. We just stayed at a St. Regis, and this hotel's service was on par (or better) yet with a low-key feel. Well done staff and management.
Review 46:We reserved one of their smallest rooms because it was such a bargain, but it was teeny & felt even 'smaller' with large oversized furniture packed in. Some little details were missed that they probably would have corrected, but we didn't bother asking--like only 1 wine glass which was chipped, only provided a thick comforter (great in January but way too hot for June), very dim lighting in living room (needed a floor lamp or other reading lamp), some upper bulbs were burned out, needed a night light in the bathroom, no freezer section in fridge. We did miss a swimming pool (they have a couple hot tubs) which would be a consideration for families traveling with kids, esp during the summer.
Review 47:Super convenient location in Mountain Village--very close to the gondola to town. Breathtaking VIEW! Excellent staff! Very welcoming property, even fresh-baked cookies. In-room: Nice robes, awesome steam shower, hot water tap for tea for me + Keurig coffee maker for husband, fridge, quality Aveda products, great storage in bathroom to put away all my toiletries, 2 TV's, private balcony overlooking the mtns & right above the gondola to the grocery/liquor store, delicious breakfast included daily (gorgeous fresh berries every morning!). Did I mention the VIEW?
Review 48:No on-site pool but I neglected to search for the option before booking.
Review 49:The staff was extremely attentive and accessible when we needed additional supplies in the room or had questions about local events. We were in a junior suite which was lovely and a good size for a family of four traveling with teens.
Review 50:Room is on small side so no room for sitting chairs. We would have like a place to sit in the room.
Review 51:Great location and very friendly staff. Tried to meet all our needs.
Review 52:The Inn at Lost Creek exceeded our expectations, the staff is top notch and very welcoming. Every room is well appointed with keurig coffee pots, washer/dryers, comfy beds, luxurious bathrooms and views to die for! We will be returning!

Review 96:no fruit at breakfast
Review 97:everything staff attitude excellent
Review 98:Location and service
Review 99:Room was way too small, too many angles...a closet would have been bigger.
Review 100:Key problems, house cleaning staff coordination, high cost, cost of parking, breakfast staff, lack of hot tea at breakfast .
Review 101:Staff, location, suite size, view.
Review 102:The studio room was too small with no place to sit except the bed or the dining chairs. No sofa or comfortable chair in the room.
Review 103:Excellent location and surroundings.
Review 104:The staff was very helpful/friendly - especially Charlie the bellman. The room was perfect for our family of 4. We loved the full kitchen and close proximity to the gondola. Breakfast was awesome - wide variety of foods and made to order selections. The breakfast sandwich was to die for! This will be our go-to hotel for summer in Telluride : )
Review 105:Everything! The friendly and helpful staff were exceptional. The room was awesome and very clean and elegant. The free breakfast couldn't be beat. We paln on a yearly stay at the excellent resort!
Review 106:Staff treated us excellent. If we had not known better we would have thought we were the only guests. They greeted us by name each time they met us and went out of their way to be accommodating.
Review 107:Every thing was perfect!
Review 108:From the first moment we entered the Inn at Lost Creek we were welcomed with open arms. The staff is INCREDIBLE! Everyone was inviting, genuine and kind. Especially Charlie- he was an angel! Thank you all for an amazing time :) Also, the room was spotless and had everything we could possible need. The breakfast was delicious as well. Overall amazing place. I would definitely stay here again.
Review 109:You could hear noise from outside which was disturbing to our sleep.
Review 110:The small extras like treats in the room, the pretty decor, and the ski in/ski out location.
Review 111:The room was rather dark (junior suite) with poor lighting and no window in the living area. It made me feel a bit miserable! Breakfast was rather disorganised.
Review 112:Wonderful staff and great central ski-in and out location. Friendly ambiance and comfortable room. nice to have a tasty included breakfast!
Review 113:All the staff especially Sean, Erin, Charlie, Joe, Jen, and Ryan were extremely helpful and friendly! Washer and dryer in the room. Location was close to everything and very quiet.
Review 114:Breakfast was OK. I would recommend 3 things: (1) a toaster fir the English muffins, (2) selection of jelly (the stuff there was awful), (3) Raisin Bran for one of the cereals.
Review 115:The staff was great. Facility was exceptional.
Review 116:breakfast very limited and poor choices, breakfast staff helpless and rude. connecting door to other room, you could hear every word.
Review 117:Location, close to Gondola,
