Reviews for Mountain Lodge at Telluride, a Noble House Resort
Review 1:The room was very small considering the cost and there was no fridge in the room which I find to be very strange given that this was supposed to be a fancier hotel.
Review 2:I enjoyed the location and the views from the main lodge were gorgeous. The shuttle was very convenient as well.
Review 3:Great ski condo for family. Clean, accommodating, very friendly and helpful staff! They go above & beyond for their guests. Good mountain village location that is a short walk to the market & free gondola.
Review 4:Room was very tiny. There was no dresser or table/chairs because it was so small. Even the coffeemaker had to be put on the also tiny sink. Wouldn't stay in this type of room again and other rooms are really unaffordable.
Review 5:Excellent location.
Review 6:However, we asked for the bedside lamp to be fixed or plugged in and in 3 days it never was. The bed was very hard. We were sold parking for $20.00 a night but there wasn't any room to park. There wasn't enough room in the bathroom or bedroom to set things down. The whole room just felt tight and for $300. a night we expected more.
Review 7:Telluride is beautiful and the music festival was wonderful -
Review 8:Beautiful setting in the mountains. The little condo felt so pleasant we decided to stay in and enjoy our wine and dinner there. The free gondola ride into town of Telluride was an added pleasure.
Review 9:The until needed maintenance. The faucets in the sink and tub were old and leaked off and on during the night. It looked like someone threw up on the window shade. I thought maybe someone left the window open and it rained on the top of the shade, but the window opened at the bottom half, not the top, so the stains couldn't have been from rain.
Review 10:I loved that we could have a one bedroom apartment with our dog and the place had a nice pool.
Review 11:Room had a door to adjacent room that was not soundproof we could hear all arguments!
Review 12:Staff was friendly and helpful despite being short handed and slammed by the film festival! Easy access to gondolas to town and ski village!
Review 13:parking was a bit tough, since we had a car top and there were limited spaces that fit our car. The air was also let out of my husband's bike tire, while parked there, which was disappointing for him, as he planned on riding during our stay.
Review 14:location was awesome..right near gondolas, accomodations were perfect!
Review 15:The rooms were a bit tight with no amenities such as a simple mini fridge. Also there was no air flow(ac) in the bedrooms, only heaters.
Review 16:The lodge was beautiful, mountain village is beautiful, telluride is beautiful, gondola riding is beautiful!!! Thank you :)
Review 17:Bed was uncomfortable the bathroom was so tiny. There was no chair in the room or a desk. The room was outdated and the baseboards were cracked.
Review 18:The staff was very kind and my view was amazing!
Review 19:The staff is very cold. Particularly the valet staff. Wait staff was friendly.
Review 20:The pool, hot tub and views are amazing! Proximity to the gondola was a plus!
Review 21:The dining experience was horrible. The food was good but the servers were terrible and unorganized. It was as if it was their first day in the food service industry. They would forget to bring a beer to the table but charged us for it. They did take the charge off of the bill but it was such a poor experience that we never returned to the restaurant.
Review 22:We loved the two bedroom suite and the views from our room were spectacular. The cabin decor was authentic and the floor to ceiling fireplace a lovely focal point in the living area. Also loved the balcony and the views of the mountains and gondola. Riding the free gondola into Telluride was a blast, especially in the evening for dinners and drinks. The gondola runs until midnight so you can park your car for the stay and enjoy getting around on the free gondola and shuttle systems!
Review 23:The walls very, very thin. There was a major party going in between twobuildings coupled with an adjacent room with a very loud couple. Therewas no place they could move us to and had no interest in giving arefund whatsoever. The rooms are not a place for relaxation.
Review 24:We enjoyed the restaurant. The food and service was very good.BTW: more lightning is needed on the path to the Gondola. Someone will twist an ankle in the dark.
Review 25:Room was extremely small. Bed was lumpy and too small (under-sized queen). No chair in room.
Review 26:Beautiful location. Plenty of lounge chairs by pool. Close to gondola.
Review 27:The beds were hard and very uncomfortable. We were charged way to much for parking. They had a wedding going on and we were not able to use any of the lodges bars etc. Very disappointed with this visit.
Review 28:There is no parking forcing the fee of $20 per day. Had a steep walk to gondola or wait for bus to take us. Hot tub didn't work on the day we planned using it. Room/bathroom was incredibly small. No air conditioner, only window fan.
Review 29:Nice staff for the most part.
Review 30:The basic "Lodge Room" costs over $170 per night and is very cramped with no refrigerator, no cooking facilities, and minimal shelving. The closet was half full of the property's gear, so our suitcases were underfoot during the stay. There is no parking at your building and a $20 fee per day for the mandatory valet service.
Review 31:This is a beautiful property, built with luxurious materials. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good.
Review 32:Nothing bad at all. Wish there were another restaurant besides the View Restaurant although their burgers were great. Par was expensive at $20 a day!
Review 33:Location, weather, gondola access, staff and junior suites was perfect!
Review 34:all minor--maintenance noise; bathroom design
Review 35:Spectacularly scenic, fantastic public transportation (gondolas), great hiking, delicious food, beautiful and comfortable.
Review 36:We ate breakfast at the onsite restaurant, and the service was very very slow. It took 10-15 min to get a menu, took forever to get out order in, and the Bloody was overpriced and only mediocre.
Review 37:Loved the free gondola to Telluride historical village.
Review 38:This was a great place to stay. We rented a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom for 6 people and it worked out perfectly. I really liked having the fireplace in our room. Another great thing is that we just had to walk down a short hill and hop on the slopes. The View restaurant was convenient and had excellent breakfast and lunch items. I did not eat there for dinner during the trip. On the day that we left, they came to pick up our luggage and had our rental car waiting outside our building. Very nice staff!
Review 39:Building I stayed in was a bit shabby with multiple patched holes in stairwell that had not been painted. Light in room did not work even after I called an they tried to fix it.
Review 40:Friendly staff, convenient location, nice outdoor jacuzzi and pool with great views, fire in lobby area.
Review 41:Kitchen in restaurant closed too early. Inconsistency in quality of service depending on the person I was dealing with. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, should be upgraded with newer mattresses.
Review 42:Hot Tub Bar
Review 43:I was looking for a mountain-lodge-with-view for Christmas, and I definitely found it here. So much is convenient to this hotel, and the free gondola back and forth to Telluride made it fun. We will definitely return to Mountain Village and Telluride.
Review 44:I don't have one negative thing to say.
Review 45:We arrived late at night. My mind was completely blown by the views from our room at sunrise! Our stay at Mountain Lodge was wonderful in every way. The staff was great - very helpful & friendly.
Review 46:There's no oven but there is a grill in the room.
Review 47:We went during off season which gave us a 10% discount and were greeted as soon as we arrived by the front desk worker...he was super friendly and walked us around and showed us to our room. The work out facility is small but nice and the walk in steam room is infused with peppermint essential oils. We had a great time here and were blown away by our view of the mountains from our balcony. You start to believe you're just at home in your apartment in the mountains and we didn't want to leave! For the price this is the best place I've seen so far.
Review 48:I came across an empty Skoal can in our room -gross! The spa tub jets in our room did not work, had to get those fixed, but by that point I was already in the tub. The room was beautiful, but I think the term "fireplace" was liberally used. A small blue light would have been truer to description. I also went to the outdoor hot tub (which was picturesque) at 9:30am (it opens at 8:30) and I had to wait for the hot tub to be refilled...I know it's off season, but still...could that have been done earlier? The last thing I had a problem with was the parking. I paid money to stay at this beautiful hotel (which is a little over budget for me to begin with) AND I have to pay for the privilege of parking my car? Not to mention that the parking is terrible. The hotel is on a hill, so parking spots are few and far between...pray you don't end up having to park on bottom when your room is at the top of hill. It's fine, I will pay to park my car, but this little extra charge (which is 20 a day) was never mentioned to me during booking or during check in....mere oversight??
Review 49:The location of this hotel could not be better, beautiful! It is conveniently located near a gondola station. The rooms are spacious and attractive. The staff are attentive and friendly.
Review 50:-They didn't have enough breakfast capacity for all their guests. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast. -They charge $20/night for parking, which is a bit much.
Review 51:The staff were very helpful and friendly. The lodge is convenient to the gondola and has lovely views.
Review 52:That I had to pay for parking, that should be included in the price of the room. That the bar was closed just because a wedding came through.
Review 53:I liked the room and the hot tub.
Review 54:The lodge room was a little small and lacked comfortable chairs but we were aware of that when we booked the room. Very nice accommodations for the price.
Review 55:The location was very convenient and the staff was fantastic. They were willing to help in any possible to make our stay pleasant and convenient.
Review 56:- No room service- COFFEE WAS TERRIBLE AND WHEN WE WANTED TO BUY ONE, THEY RAN OUT OF MILK - ROOM WAS SMALL, EXTENSION ROOM FOR FULL PRICE....WHAT? I KNOW IT WAS TBB, BUT COME ON. - BUFFET ON SUNDAY, TERRIBLE. - THERE WAS A MAN IN THE HOT TUB WHO WAS SCREAMING THE WHOLE MORNING WITH NO REGARD FOR OTHER GUESTS AND STAFF WAS OKAY WITH THAT.
Review 57:$20/day parking charge.
Review 58:The views were spectacular. Proximity to the gondola made travel in to Telluride painless. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen facilities in our suite were more than adequate.
Review 59:The bathroom was very small. The tub/shower did not drain well. The heavy wear was showing like the stove had a broken pot drawer. The shower door was not hung properly. Also, no grab bar anywhere in the shower and the jacuzzi tub is a high step in and out. Hated the power saving light bulbs. Took too long to light a room so our solution was to leave them on. Some saving huh? Parking is very limited but we got lucky and then never moved the car.
Review 60:The staff was so helpful and pleasant. The views were spectacular. We arrived earlier than scheduled and our junior suite was not yet ready. Instead of making us wait, they upgraded us to a regular suite at no cost and showed us right to our room. SWEET!! Furniture was nice, enjoyed the fireplace and the grounds were beautiful. The restaurant is excellent and like everywhere else, the staff is great. The place is also very pet friendly! Loved seeing dogs everywhere. And don't miss the gondola ride to Telluride! Awesome!
Review 61:I'm used to air conditioning so I was a bit concerned but with the fans that were in each room we were very comfortable. It was unfortunate that when we arrived the dining room/bar/pool was booked for a wedding - but we went into the village and had a wonderful dinner.
Review 62:The view, the suite (accommodation), the air, the entire complex. It was more than we expected! Wish we had planned on staying longer but it was amazing, absolutely beautiful comfortable place to start our travels. People were so friendly - just a wonderful place!
Review 63:No TV guide so pretty hard to plan to watch a movie or so. Also this resort also has the dull knife syndrome, even hard to cut a stick of butter with them. Coffee provided is very week, for sure bring your own.
Review 64:This is a great place we stayed in suite which has a full kitchen, it is decorated very nice, had a nice balcony and bed very comfortable. Had a jet bath and it was very clean. Pool was also great with towels, water and sunscreen. Lots of TV channels including HBO.
Review 65:Hairs on sheets... before we slept on them!! Had to go to office for coffee packets each day as new ones not left by housekeeper. Parking fee of $20/ day
Review 66:Ease of getting from resort to town on gondola.
Review 67:Noise of wee hours arrivals across from reception, stay far away from reception.
Review 68:Best jr suite layout I've ever stayed in almost like a 1 bedroom.
Review 69:The room really needed a table. I wish Booking.com would have told us about the additional costs -- resort fees, parking, etc.
Review 70:The gondola into town.
Review 71:The required valet parking for lodgers that obviously have luggage and the baggage necessary for a long term stay was a drag. It would have been so nice to have our vehicle handy. thought it a bit ridiculous as well to walk past the parking garage to get to the desk, then wait for the valet to go get my car. Space is limited obviously, but it seems that it was poor planning.
Review 72:The location was great and access to the Gondola was nice. The units are exceptional for the money. The staff was very attentive as well.
Review 73:Expensive, small room, very very loud! We could hear everything ourneighbors said or did! The room was hot, with no working airconditioning. If you are looking for an overpriced room in a beautifullocation, this is it.
Review 74:Location was pretty but difficult to get to; the expense of traveling byshuttle from the airport was equal to the cost of our stay, and the ridewas about an hour and a half. (As a side note, the Telluride Express wasnot clear about the cost of our transport-they charged me double thecost listed on the website! I recommend using a different service orrenting your own car!) However, the gondola ride down to Telluride was aquiet, beautiful experience, and it was free.
Review 75:Since it was the 4th of July weekend, the hotel was very busy. Since we checked in in the early evening, there were no parking spaced available for us, and we had to use the valet parking. It wasn't a big deal, but it would have been nice to have had our car parked close to our unit.
Review 76:We enjoyed our stay over the 4th of July. The lodge has an excellent staff, the room was quiet and very comfortable, and we enjoyed being at the Mountain Village. The pool and jacuzzi were good too..
Review 77:There was a lot of hair on the wall and floor of our shower.
Review 78:The hotel bar is convenient, good, and fast.
Review 79:There wasn't anything we didn't like.
Review 80:We loved everything about the facility and the gondola was right around the corner.
Review 81:lots of noise and no parking.
Review 82:beautiful views, nice people.
Review 83:to far from town

Review 85:Helpfulness of staff Fantastic views Close to gondolas
Review 86:Pullout couch was a little uncomfortable
Review 87:Proximity to the gondola Views of the mountains Lodge feeling
Review 88:Patio door did not lock. Window leaked when it rained. Moldy and carpets dirty. A bit run down.
Review 89:Nice to have a kitchen and cooking equipment.
Review 90:The bathroom needs a "close-up" mirror.
Review 91:Beautiful decorated rooms, comfortable beds, not noisy.
Review 92:Easy access to gondola and Tellurode.
Review 93:the restaurant service was slow and food was not worth $93.
