Reviews for Madeline Hotel and Residences
Review 1:I loved the location of the hotel and the location of my room. It was beautiful with all the amenities I could ever wish for. All staff who we spoke with were friendly and courteous. Property description: though a luxury hotel - not a bit pretentious!
Review 2:The only problem we had was our room was the lowest price point and faced the inside to the courtyard. The windows were thin and you could hear the people outside playing games and sitting around tables talking as well as construction across the way so it was difficult to catch an afternoon nap (no real problems with noise at night).
Review 3:Excellent hotel room, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Restaurant downstairs was really fun (tables outside with fire in the middle to keep you warm) and only Starbucks in town. Short walk across the plaza to the free Gondola to Telluride.
Review 4:They are converting the hotel to condo' s and it is not the same place it was when we stayed there before. They no longer have a restaurant, we had to park our car, it was under construction, and we were give a poor room compared to what we got in past. We will not stay there again.
Review 5:Nothing
Review 6:The location is right next to the gondola. The room was huge, wood floors and dripping in luxury. A bar area with glasses and shelves and below a small refrigerator. The bathroom had every amenity - walk in shower and separate huge tub, and toilet in separate room. Huge soft towels, lighted make-up mirror, 2 sinks, granite counter top. The bedroom had a wonderful bed and pillows, perfect black out drapes, nightstands were burled wood and 6 very large drawers in chest. There was a walk in closet with an umbrella, slippers, robes big enough for my 6'4" husband, and even a humidifier. And we never heard a noise! I could go on and on....
Review 7:Booked a KS deluxe room with a view. The bellman accidently took us to a suite. After settling in the front desk calls and said we have to be moved. Manager came up and told us no chance of upgrade and huge additional charge to stay in the suite because we got such a good rate for booking at Booking.com. June 5th out of season hotel was completely empty, we did not see one guest in the hotel or at breakfast our entire stay. Room with a view they moved us to was their worst room with a view into a stair tower.
Review 8:Nice property bad management.
Review 9:Reason for the upgrade was they lost the reservation for one of our rooms, and since we got in at 1 am, it took time to work out where we were going to land.
Review 10:Upgraded to a 2 bedroom condo, which was perfect for our family. The hotel staff was very attentive.
Review 11:Location was great really did not spend much time in room. Wished we had a balcony as the room was a bit small... understand you were booked full. Room needs a full length mirror.
Review 12:Very nice room, huge bathroom, very friendly staff, convenient location with ski concierge, excellent food and service at rev restaurant, good wifi in room
Review 13:The Internet didn't work. Make sure you have AT&T device that can share the Internet connection.
Review 14:The facility was impeccable, the restaurant fantastic, and the room comfortable and clean. The staff was also top notch. The area was also incredible, with Starbucks, skate rink, free gondolas that take you all over the mountain into the villages and back. And the slopes around the corner? This was a business trip so no time to ski...but we were absolutely thrilled with he accommodations.
Review 15:I had to work while I was there, but the wifi was too slow.
Review 16:It was all great
Review 17:There is a wonderful young man, Johnathan from Montrose, who was especially helpful and so, so friendly.
Review 18:Location and comfortable bed.
Review 19:Waitress at Blackstone Grill. Overall horrible service. Food was excellent.
Review 20:Hotel, room, services, staff all excellent.
Review 21:First class hotel! The room was beautiful! The staff was wonderful!!!
Review 22:One of the nicest "hotel" rooms I have ever stayed in.
Review 23:Poor access to ice, water, drinks. After 9pm plan on taking the gondola down for such staples. Poor lighting in bathroom
Review 24:bathroom lighting a bit dark
Review 25:room comfort
Review 26:Location, amenities, first-class all the way! The staff was so unbelievable helpful and friendly! We had the best time.
Review 27:Willingness of staff to accommodate
Review 28:I was annoyed that valet parking was not included. An additional fee for parking equivalent to 25% of what we paid for the room seemed excessive
Review 29:All-around great experience, very nice place
Review 30:No bellman when we arrived nor when we left...had to handle our ownluggage both times. Concierge said she would try to make a dinnerreservation at Allreds and then never contacted us. Tried to order roomservice and no one (restaurant or front desk) seemed to know how to getthat done so we went down to the restaurant instead. The restaurant wasvery busy and there weren't enough staff. Everyone seemed frazzled. Wehad to ask for catsup (for our fries) three different times before itcame. Food at Rev was ok at night, better in the am. Service was muchbetter in the am as well. Bathroom didn't have any counterspace...didn't have anywhere to put my grooming items.
Review 31:Great female massage therapist but the spa seemed like an afterthoughtbased on its layout. Male therapist was average. Sky Valet worked greatRoom was comfortable. Bed linens, towels...all very comfy and nice. Goodinternet access. Great location to the lifts.
Review 32:Nothing negative to report at all
Review 33:The rooms were beautifully appointed and well equipped , the beds are fabulous !! Staff were extremely helpful and it is a very relaxing environment
Review 34:Due to inconsiderate and cruel guests in the room next door, a dog wasleft in a cage (apparently for 13 hours) which barked to our knowledgefrom 9.30 P.M.to 1.30 A.M. when it was removed by hotel staff. Wecomplained at 11.30 and our friends at 12.30 and all endured a verydisturbed night, not least the dog!
Review 35:My husband and I and two travelling companions very much enjoyed ourthree night stay at Hotel Madeline Telluride, despite having a dogbarking in the next room for over four hours on the first night. (Seebelow). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Our rooms werevery comfortable and the bathroom and Molton Brown toiletries superb. The Manager of the hotel personally wrote to us to apologise for thedisturbed night and compensated us handsomely for the inconvenience. This is a very luxurious hotel and we would certainly stay there again. The free gondola service to Telluride town was a bonus, giving wonderfulviews of the beautiful mountain scenery.
Review 36:room Service was less than expected... No salt/pepper provided... Sodas were poured without covers and were watered down We asked to split the entry, but came whole... No cheese was provided for pasta entry... Overall, no attention to detail I don't think management understands it's customer... You hcve a wonderful facility and location... This could very well be five star...
Review 37:Location Beds Sheets Bathroom Spa
Review 38:They firstly allowed me late check out as my flight was not until 4pm and I wanted to ski and then change in my room. As a solo traveller this was important to me. later that night I had a call from the front desk renaging on this because the hotel was now fully booked and they needed the room back at 12pm. I then went onto booking.com and saw that there were 4 rooms available at the same price I had booked my room a month earlier. I was not happy about this at all. I rechecked the availability the next morning. All the rooms from the previous evening were still available on Booking.com. The next morning I was called by the front desk offering to store my bags - I reported my findings and explained how unhappy I was. The room was then free and I could stay until I needed to which was 2pm. This messed up my skiing so I wasted a lift pass due to the messing around about the room.
Review 39:Perfect location for getting onto the slopes within minutes. Has great facilities including gym, pool, spa. Great food. Very close to the airport. Perfect for a long weekend break.
Review 40:location; elegant hotel; outstanding service; very close to free tram running to telluride village and to the market
