Reviews for Bothabelo Bed and Breakfast
Review 1:Excellent lodging, modern and high spec. Room very comfortable, with all the comforts. Housekeeping very excellent and all staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Located just five minutes away from the world famous kruger national park and the business heart of phalaborwa. I've had a lovely comfortable and relaxing stay and will highly recommend this establishment to both leisure & corporate travellers
Review 2:cockroaches, short staffed, one person doing everything, inefficient, dirty misquote nets, but mostly the fact that there were roaches everywhere in the room, I am even worried that I may have brought some home with me. Too many cockroaches, baby and adult roaches
Review 3:The room looked nice at first glance, the remote control worked
Review 4:Stayed in room No.4. Promised and paid for a "luxury" room, but.....only one bedside lamp, (had to ask for second one) one bedside carpet (asked for a second one, but no luck) Told we would have a plasma TV with full DSTV bouquet - got a little old TV with a limited choice. Very bad damp problem in the bedroom/bathroom wall, as a result the paint was peeling off the wall exposing raw cement underneath - very unsightly and definitely not "luxury"!. In fact the bedroom could have done with a fresh coat of paint. Shower curtain did not prevent water from poring onto bathroom floor. Hot water ran out after 1 shower.
Review 5:Friendly staff. Basic but good breakfast. Staff happy to serve breakfast when it suited us Bed comfortable and linen clean if a bit old - bath towel had a big hole in it!
Review 6:There was no soap in the rooms. We were told its finish. The shower did not have soap holders. TV was tiny, no sidebed reading lights. The aircon was not effective i struggled the entire night it was too hot for me. The staff is not available at night to assist. Breakfast the less said the better, mince was salty as if it was blitong, burger patty was rock hard. Service generally was non existence
Review 7:The room were reasonable
Review 8:There were no reception staff available when we arrived or when we left. The reception office is unfriendly, there is no bell to call anyone. the glass on half the desk is missing, the chairs are an odd set. There were no towels or soap in the room!!! The door would not unlock and another guest had to be asked to open it from outside. The lighting is very dim. There are no bedside lights so one cannot read. There was no milk in the fridge. We did not even bother to stay for breakfast. A most disappointing stay indeed.
Review 9:Very little indeed
Review 10:The fact that the gate motor was non existent and we had to get out in the soaking rain to manually open it on leaving.
Review 11:The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and arranged a packed breakfast for our early departure.

And the next morning, they camein and cleaned our room, and packed our clothes in the cupboard, whichwas very very amazing! We couldn't find directions, and they broughtus a map and helped us to where we needed to be. So thank you very much, and if we come back to Phalaborwa, we won't hesitate to stay withyou again!
