Reviews for Leopardsong Manor
Review 1:It was obvious that the staff did not do a proper pre-occupancy lookover/check of the room. During the night we realised that the underfloor heating was on!! The staff would have picked this up had a check of the room being done before occupation. The outside temperature was 38 degrees Celsius when we arrived. An arrival time was communicated to the staff beforehand. The air conditioning could have been switched on to ensure a cool room. Some of the bread at breakfast had mildew on it! The exit code given the previous night did not work. We had to go back and get the staff member to go to estate security at the gate to let us out. All in all a disastrous evening spoiled by inadequately trained staff that did not do a pre-occupancy check up.
Review 2:Location is very good. Room was spacious and had all essentials.
Review 3:We reserved the last bedroom which was fine except it had a large window on one side which was next to a lounge so anyone using it or passing through could see into the room. As the shower was in the room we had to close the curtains for privacy which made the room dark.
Review 4:Generally very good and would stay again. staff very helpful
Review 5:Business felt like a holiday. The tranquil setting, peaceful ambiance and friendly staff made my stay both memorable and enjoyable. An absolute must for any first timer in Gauteng.
Review 6:Not so much a bad thing, just a note... No restaurants within walking distance. Being a guest house, you will have to go out for lunch or dinner.
Review 7:Super service and friendly staff. The owner is also regularly on hand to chat with guests directly.
Review 8:My stay at Leopardsong was perfect for my business trip. The room was spacious and comfortable with everything I needed for my overnight stay! Appreciated the fact that I could walk, and feel safe within the security estate, to the clubhouse for dinner.
Review 9:Tile floors throughout so noise from other guests can be an issue Breakfast was a bit scant - the basket with croissants had only two in - we were four. Hot breakfast items were cold and there was only four rashers of bacon left. No eggs were offered.
Review 10:Very safe and secure, rooms are comfortable, the management was helpful, freshly squeezed orange juice provided
Review 11:You can't complain about service because there was no service!Nobody was there when we arrived so we had nobody to assist us with thegas fireplace, aircon and coffee maker that we could not get to work. Wespent a bitterly cold night. Also struggled to lock balcony doors andfelt unsafe being 2 women alone in this huge mansion. The cupboards weredirty - hair all over. They lost my proof of payment and requested it 3weeks later although they gave me an invoice with payment made. Irequested twin beds via booking.com and e-mail and they were not awareof this when I enquired the day before our arrival.
Review 12:It is luxurious. Ask for a room overlooking the golf course.
Review 13:The entrance & exit remote did not work for the full duration of our stay. I asked for fresh milk in the room with my tea - it was not provided for also the full duration of our stay. It was very very cold and no electrical blanket or hot water bottle was available The advertisement on Booking.com says bath AND shower We only had a shower
Review 14:To know that I am safe in Pta and my car that was parked outside as well.
Review 15:We stayed for two nights and on both mornings corridors were quite noisy from early in the morning. Not very peaceful for weary travellers.
Review 16:Spacious rooms with good facilities.
Review 17:The lodge is located in a secure area so guests can safely go for a run or walk around the golf course in the estate. Very nice to be able to get outside while in Gauteng. A lovely view over the area is also available from comfortable seating on the patio.
Review 18:I would have preferred a flat screen TV with DSTV in the room. There is need for an information pack on taxis, wifi connectivity and restaurants close by. My business partner prefers both a bath tub and a shower cubicle
Review 19:The views outside the room were perfect. The verandar was also very good for meetings.
Review 20:Safe place and ideal for golf
Review 21:Fridge was off on arrival. 1 plug to share for coffee, fridge, light, hairdryer and mobile devices.
Review 22:The coffee machine
Review 23:No power, no access code given, no hot water
Review 24:Not a bad experience, but no alternative blankets available. It was extremely warm under the duvet provided.
