Review 1：There was an odor when I first entered the room from some type of room freshener that I felt was overpowering. It got better the next day of staying there. The heating and air conditioning needs upgraded to control a more even temperature.
Review 2：Price and location were great and located near a lot of nice places to eat.
Review 3：I paid extra for free breakfast with the room. The next morning I did not expect just coffee and a donut. Continental breakfast consists of more than that.

Even if you just need to stop for a few hours like I did to sleep, spend a few more bucks for a another location. You will be happy you did

Review 11：My plan was to save money by staying here and taking the number 7 bus down town. Unfortunately, it only operated until 6pm and only on weekdays. So I ended up spending some money on taxis
Review 12：The owners were very helpful They upgraded me to a king size bed, the moment I told them the air conditioning in the room I booked was noisy. The bed was comfortable and the room had all the facilities I needed.

Review 22：The hotel is close to a variety of restaurants. We were in Richmond for the sprint cup race and this hotel is a short distance from Richmond International Raceway. It was a fair price for the location.
Review 23：CONS: 1. Mattress is from 1880s (feels like it's filled with hay and broken springs). 2. Not enough pillows, blankets or towels and God help you if you ask for more. It would've been easier to get the Holy Grail delivered. I would've given at least 3 stars for cleanliness, but the owners/staff were so incredibly rude, confrontational and completely inflexible, I barely wanted to give one star. To request an extra hour after the 11 AM check out is not unreasonable. What is unreasonable was the owner coming into the room at 11:10 AM to YELL at us for still being there. We stayed 4 nights and were perfect tenants. No mess, no noise and we were barely there due to our work schedule. These people were the ONLY unfriendly people we met in Richmond. Maybe they should take notes on how to treat people with respect from their neighbors. Again... The room was clean.
