Review 1：it took the lady like 20 mins to get to the desk I had no access to WiFi and the towels and bed was not very clean at all

Review 3：This facility needs a complete makeover. The outside is in very bad shape and the inside is not much better. Parking lot is dangerous to walk on, no light near outside door, no railing on porch steps, room had a bad smell and it looked very bad. The first key given to me didn't work in the door.
Review 4：The first gal at the desk was knowledgeable but the second gal really couldn't answer my questions or help me.
Review 5：The room and bugs (alive and dead). The bed was very uncomfortable. The exterior of the door to the room had signs of previous damage/tampering with Andrew interior lacked extra security such as dead bolt or secondary latch lock. The exterior of the facility was poorly kept (overgrown grass and damaged walkways).
Review 6：It took us 30 minutues waiting for check in when there were nobody at the front desk. After that it took them more time to pull up my reservations which made me very tired. I booked an nonamoking room but they gave me the smoke room. The sink was broken no water to use. The resroom was dirty with no towers inside. When I tried to take shower. The water stayed in the hot tub and didn't gone. I called them to report the issue and wanted to change another room but they said no more rooms and made us wait a long time to come fix the hot tub and gave us some towers. The way they running business is not professional as I expect. We paid $100 for one night and they made me feel disappointed. We never come back again.
Review 7：A pool would have been nice but not mandatory.
Review 8：It was clean. It did not smell like mold, stale smoke, or anything bad. It wasn't state of the art by any means, but it was clean.
Review 9：It was supposed to be a no smoking room. It had ash trays out in the open and cigarette butts in a drawer. There was no top sheet on the bed. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom. No coffee maker. The desk attendant could not find our reservation even though I had a copy of the confirmation. The location was incorrectly marked by google and we had trouble finding it without a phone call. There was no one at the desk in the morning when I returned the keys and no one to mention defects of the room to.
Review 10：Hot water in the shower.
Review 11：Nothing is worse than driving all day, renting a motel room, then finding out their only ice machine didn't work. Furrniture was the secondhand quality that you expect at a garage sale. Television was a quality 17 inch model with a terrible picture. Think this motel is either closing from lack of customers or soon will. Best bet is to find another place to stay.
Review 12：Hard pressed to find a good point. There weren't many people staying there, so I suppose that was a plus. It wasn't noisy.
Review 13：First, I get there and they didn't have my reservation that had been confirmed. Took almost an hour to get a room. They had told me the door was a little messed up, no biggie...no it at one point had been kicked in and the wood was completely gone from behind the metal bracket. Also, there was no point to a key for that room cause all you had to do was lift the handle up and the door would open! They also charged $10 per pet for cleanup fees....the carpet had not been vacuumed in I don't know how long! They also only provided 1 towel and 1 wash cloth and when I asked for more, they questioned me as to why...I'm a girl for crying out loud I need at least 1 when I wash my hands, 1 for the floor, one for my hair, and 1 for my body! And I don't know if I felt more in danger or safer that the cops drove the lot all night long!

Review 15：Well our deadbolt on the door didn't work. They eventually got it to work and then we went out to dinner and came back to it not working again. They fixed it but we did not feel safe there.
Review 16：The first room we had smell like smoke, like someone just got done smoking in there before we came in. It was an awful smell. Then we ask to get a different room that was smoke free. That room was smoke free but the bed was broken. That night was the worst night of sleep for me. Never again will I ever stay there or recommend it to anyone. Cheap motels are not worth the stay. I rather pay 30-60 bucks more to stay in a 3-5 star hotels.
Review 17：Hard to find because address was not exactly correct. The motel did not face the street that I was told. Had to watch carefully and the sign is too small and at a busy intersection. I had to go miles west and come back and hard to get to.
Review 18：All I needed was a place to sleep that was decent and a good price. I was on the way to Branson and my cars starter went out and I was tired. I sleep well AFTER I finally found the place tucked around other places. The instructions on the phone were for local people and I had no idea this motel was. Had I been told to NOT GO THROUGH OR ENTER THE BUSY INTERSECTION WHERE YOU CHOOSE TO GO EAST OR WEST ON 44 , I could have been more prepared. It was not a good experience driving around alone at night when I had driven 5 hours all day. I was beat and frustated.
Review 19：The website, booking. Com, said that there would be a microwave and a small refrigerator and coffee pot in every room; and there wasn't any. The bedspread was dirty.

If you choose to stay at this place, recommend you ask for the top floor. If you stay on the bottom floor you will hear every step / noise from occupants on the top floor. RESTLESS REST

Review 50：It took about 25-35 minutes for the girl who checked us in to find my reservation and complete check-in. The fixtures were filthy. There was dust everywhere. The curtain was hanging by one clip and we had to fix it for privacy. The soda machine was empty. The room smelled stale. Both mornings we were called upon 30-45 minutes before check out to leave. There were constantly flies buzzing around. There were Doritos chips on the floor when we did NOT bring them into the room, leading us to believe it was not vacuumed

Review 52：upon check in igave my drivers licence. my room was already paid for and out of my account by 6 pm before i left town. At 1:30 am an African American busted through my door unannounced screaming at me that i did not pay for my room. I showed him my receipt and was not good enough for him. I called the police. By the time they showed up he was gone. I went to the front desk. They said his name was Manuel the Night General MGR. The police told me it was a civil matter. I will be calling the Joplin Chamber Of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau. The sink would not drain and the tub would not drain. The toilet ran all night. There was not a lit up sign to find the location of the motel. I had to call them twice when arriving by gps for their location.

Review 54：The place was quite run down and in the process of renovation. The location wasn't bad, but a bit difficult to get to.

Review 58：I got on line to get a room and the total was 136.00 and when we got there they total was 186.00 and some change. And for that price that room is not worth it. That is way too much. We will not ever stay again.

Review 60：This Place should be closed. A lot of their rooms were shut down like a slum. I booked a (Double bed Room) and was given a single bed room with a Full bed. I was charged the higher price for what I booked but was given their cheaper room. Their pool is filled in with dirt and grass. It says all rooms have a refrigerator, Microwave, and coffee maker. My room didn't have any of those and when I complained they told me they didn't have enough so they only gave those items to rooms where people booked more than one night. The staff was rude and would not do anything to satisfy the customer and even put the blame on Booking.com. Booking.com and the city of Joplin should both know how bad this place is. Also the grounds were not mowed and unkeep.
Review 61：1) It looked like it was hit by the tornado and left that way. 2) Giant cloud of Black Mold spores coming from Heater unit. 3) The armchair looked like it came off a street corner saved from garbage pickup. 4) The table in was missing a leg and jammed into the corner in an feeble attempt to support it. 5) The sheets on the bed appeared were as thin as cray paper with holes. 6) There were SKID MARKS ON THE TOWELS!! 7) The telephone to call the desk and complain did not work and the wire disappeared under the connecting door to the adjoining room. 8) the WiFi could not connect. 9) The TV was an analog tube type and only got shopping channels. 10) Electrical outlets missing cover plates with 120 volts AC available at the touch. 11) I have pictures that I can email you. It was HORRIFYING!! 12) The Angry man at the desk in the morning looked at me like I was from another planet when I complained about these things
Review 62：The lady at the desk when I checked in had a nice smile and seemed happy.. probably because I was dumb enough to give her cash before I had seen the "room".
Review 63：First we came at night and had to ring the bell the lady who came to thedoor was rude and not friendly at all we only stayed because I had madereservations and it was late. It looked like a worn out cheap house,tvremote back was missing there was stains on the carpet,tolit set wasdirty looking ,put it this was motel 6 was cheaper and it had more andlooked better u get a microwave and icebox and flat screen tv.
Review 64：only two pillows and only one thin blanket on a very cold night. We asked for more blankets and they nicely brought us another thin blanket. Staff were very polite but the facilities are very old and in need of maintenance.
Review 65：The parking lot about swallowed my truck before even entering the place.The pot holes were terible. The entire facility was extremely run down& tore up. The exterior of the facility had handrails falling offthe building. Definately a saftey hazard for guest on the second floor.The interior of the rooms was terribly run down. The only ceiling lightinside my room & one of two lamp lights didn't work. Thebathroom was so run down I didn't even use the shower. Even theshower head was stained yellow & cracked. I room was $60. Iwouldn't stay there for $20.

Review 67：The staff was awful, took 45 mins to be checked in at 1am. Maids came inand changed towels but didn't make beds or empty trash and we werethere for 3 days. It was definitely not worth the money.

The front desk person admitted to being 'new', but more training would seem to be in order. The mold in the bathroom. The stained shower curtain. The disgusting looking pool just outside our door. Room placement was not at all a good fit for someone who requested handicap access. For being listed as a non-smoking room......the smell of cigar should be removed first.
