Reviews for Redmond Inn
Review 1:No real problems, if I had to pick something I guess the walls seemed a bit thin, as I could hear people walking down the halls pretty well.
Review 2:Somehow Booking.com overbooked the room during carpet replacements and the gentleman at the desk was able to find us a spare room, pretty late in the day. This was a lifesaver, as we didn't have anywhere else to stay and it was freezing out. The Redmond area is great, and seems like an up-and-coming area, and the Redmond Inn gives you a centrally located starting point.
Review 3:I left food and an unopened bottle of wine in the fridge and they threw them all out. Pretty standard but just disappointing after a nice stay.
Review 4:The King size bed was comfy and the room was very clean! It was quiet which was lovely because I was giving a 2 hour massage and needed a calm environment.
Review 5:Although this hotel felt safe, there was no second lock on my hotel room door. The shower strainer that sits above the drain in the shower could also have been replaced as it had become dysfunctional with wear.
Review 6:Friendly staff. Clean, updated rooms in a safe location. Easy on site parking with close proximity to eateries, coffee and a Whole Foods market. An easy place to stay.
Review 7:Shower head was broken. Wish breakfast had more non carb options. A bit pricey for just one night.
Review 8:The staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean. Nice to have the microwave n frig but didn't need them.
Review 9:Old place- fact that booking. Com rated this high I would hate to see what a two or one star would be ,over priced seen it for cheaper pool was ice carpet was nasty
Review 10:Staff was nice
Review 11:You guys made it easy for my son and husband to stay a extra night. If not the trip would of been more difficult. Thank you for taking care of my family while they were away on business. I didn't have to worry at all. From a mom to you.
Review 12:The parking spaces were very narrow for a SUV.
Review 13:The bedroom was very comfortable and room was nice! The staff was very responsive. The first room we were in had A/C problems when we arrived after midnight. The front desk person upgraded our room and turned on the AC before we moved to our new room. The breakfast was good. We arrived at 9am and there were no more bananas :-( The waffle mix ran out by 9:15, but the dining room hostess quickly made another batch. So, while it was not seamless, the staff was very responsive.
Review 14:The noise from the parking lot and street in the morning was a bit much. Our window overlooked the Pancake restaurant in the front parking lot, so on Fathers Day is was very busy. Next time we'll request an odd number room.
Review 15:We chose Redmond Inn because it was close enough for us to walk to the festival we were attending. It would be a great location for the Summer Concert Series at Marymoor too!
Review 16:Clean room, nice soft towels I hate a hotel that uses towels past their softness $200 + a night should get great towels, front desk very polite and courteous I will stay there again.
Review 17:The garbage truck dumping the dumpster on the SW corner of the property at 7:20 AM.Not a deal breaker though, we were just trying to sleep in on a Monday in a room at the end closest to the dumpster.
Review 18:Espresso machine in the lobby & being so close to Whole Foods and the trail.
Review 19:Just kind of a dumpy overall feel and look; even motel 6 has renovated and they're like 1/2 the price if you're looking for value stay. My first room smelled gross and I requested a different room which was ok.
Review 20:Close to highway and close to whole foods and other businesses
Review 21:Too many compact parking spots- often ignored by larger vehicle owners. This put my small rental car at risk of a scape or dent.
Review 22:Attention by the staff
Review 23:It was very quite and peaceful also there was a family pancake restaurant right outside which was nice considering I was very tired when I got there and didn't feel like going far to get something to eat.
Review 24:Hair on the bathtub wall. Some sort of substance caked in painting. Drops of blood by bathroom sing sheet and bedding were dirty. The chairs were rippped apart on arms. This hotel wAs very dirty and the air conditioning was broken so it was hot humid and gross. Booking.cOm gave thiS hOtel gOOd ratings and I know to not trust that judgment again. It also listed that it was blocks away from marymoor park (it was 2 miles). This was my first night without children in YEARS. My husband was extremely disappointed :(
Review 25:The front desk clerk was pleasant
Review 26:Outdated rooms for a premium price No attention to detail when cleaning room
Review 27:Issue with room type eventually resolved even though first staff member attempted to dismiss my concern
Review 28:Aphostered furniture needs a shampoo The pool is very cold
Review 29:overall cleanliness and location close to restaurants and activity quiet nights and a nice spa
Review 30:we stayed twice in a week. the first night we had queen size beds which were comfortable. The second night we had a king bed which was so uncomfortable I slept on the floor.
Review 31:facilities were adequate
Review 32:The water power was so weak. Maybe they need a bigger water tank...the pool was so tiny...
Review 33:I like the coffee in room and atmosphere of the room. It was quite and good location
Review 34:Old facility not maintained well. Not comfortable or private. Could hear noise from neighboring rooms. From kids running through the hallways to showers running. Will not return.
Review 35:Parking was a little limited due to construction. I would have appreciated a safe in the room.
Review 36:Good location, close to a major freeway. Good breakfast.-
Review 37:Mattress could have been a little firmer.
Review 38:Bike rental on property and access to good biking and walking trails. Lots of choices to eat nearby. Convenient location to golf tournament at Sahalee without having to fight traffic and get on major highways.
Review 39:-I've seen better selection at breakfast (but I've also seen worse, or none; some sausages or meat would have been nice?) -Parking wasn't bad, but nothing close to an entrance/exit -Only two exits :(
Review 40:-The inn looked nice -The staff were friendly and helpful -Check-in was quick -Location was good (next to the event centre @ Marymoor) -Room was clean and comfortable
Review 41:The staff was very warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to assist me when my room key didn't work. Thank you Mona!
Review 42:No real issues. Plan on staying again.
Review 43:Friendly staff and very helpful. Great loctaion near our daughter's college.
Review 44:Staff was friendly, room was nicely appointed. Not too hard to locate with GPS.
Review 45:Adequate room size, comfortable beds. Quiet. Near Whole Foods, bike trails.
Review 46:The pool area.
Review 47:Location was out of the center of town. Easy to get to many places. Helpful staff. Near by restaurants.
Review 48:Improve on your breakfast spread. Serve ripe fruits.
Review 49:The fact that I was charged $1.00 for a bottle of water that was in my room.
Review 50:Really liked the shuttle to an event close by. Would be great if it could be available on sat/sun
Review 51:You couldn't fit a rollaway in a double queen hotel room.
Review 52:Clean and comfortable bed
Review 53:No negatives.
Review 54:Staff was great along with the room.
Review 55:Affordable but still close to seattle
Review 56:Friendly service and very nice location.
Review 57:the fan in the bathroom stayed on all night. Could not be turned off.
Review 58:bed was really comfy.
Review 59:The rooms were not sound proof. We could hear our neighbors with young children.
Review 60:Very conveinent for seeing a show at Marymoore park
Review 61:The beds were very uncomfortable, especially for an eight day stay. Also hated their sheets. I have never complained about a bed in a hotel before.
Review 62:complimentary shuttle pick-up and drop within 5 miles was very useful
Review 63:Location, and free shuttle was very nice especially for us folks from small town on other side of mountain!!
Review 64:Parking is a little tight on Sunday mornings since the Waffle House is so close, but it was fine!
Review 65:The value. The coffee, the breakfast, the staff!
Review 66:I asked for a quiet room away from street noise and was willingly accommodated. Thank you
Review 67:Beds were very firm
Review 68:We were staying here due to close proximity to concert in the park. Worked out really well.
Review 69:Room was clean & roomy! Close to Marymoor Park, Whole foods and lots of amenities. Complimentary coffee/tea/cookies all day
Review 70:Traffic was kind of noisy, so close to freeway.
Review 71:We liked that they had a shuttle to and from Marymoor park.
Review 72:Room next to elevator so the elevator noise was very apparent.
Review 73:Convenient location to Whole Foods
Review 74:Breakfast Buffet Clogged Sink No view from window which was sealed off
Review 75:Complimentary Coffee in Lobby Comfortable Bed Close to Redmond Center Mall
Review 76:Did not like the reason as to why we couldn't get a late check out, supposedly they were short staffed. Hate to hear that.
Review 77:Loved the price and it was close to why we were there. I originally had booked a king bed but got two queens, this actually worked out better for my group, but one wasn't available (supposedly) when I booked the room. I would stay here again.
Review 78:I noticed we didn't have the same breakfast arrangement as in the past (i.e pancake house). A little disheartening but not a deal breaker. Though a very nice to have.
Review 79:I love being able to rent the bikes. I love that the staff is eager to help. I love that you always have solutions vs saying "sorry we can't do that" I love that it is so well organized - or at least appears to be :) I love that you keep such beautiful grounds - all of this helps keep it quiet in the midst of the highway. It is quiet and that is a pure luxury - not to mention that SUPER shuttle service. You make it a pleasure to come back there and that's why I do go back there, because you make every effort to make my stay comfortable, and well serviced. I recommend your hotel to everyone.
Review 80:Loved it. Great Location near lots of walking paths and Marymoore Park. Right next door to an excellent Whole Foods Market and a good coffee shop. Don't need a car while here, but I head there is a free shuttle anywhere within 5mi.
Review 81:Liked staff, comfortable beds, perfect location To visit family, easy on and off freeway, thick and great bath towels -- and room was always kept well supplied, staff recommended a Town Car and it was perfect --frank was a great driver and saved me from having to tackle the Seattle freeways and traffic. Thanks so much
Review 82:Noise, doors slamming, room above floor creaking when they were walking, shower from next door was really loud, there was an early riser at 4am who took a shower every day at that time.So never did get a good night sleep.
Review 83:had Wi Fi but very slow, Fridge, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, comfortable bed, flat screen tv, good parking and close to good restaurants. Good breakfast.
Review 84:1. The bed was awful, it had 2 holes from people sleeping on it. Probably need to rotate matresses more often.2. Inn was adjacent to trail head, but staff had no map showing trail system.
Review 85:It was an good location, near a nice shopping mall. Also near trails butstaff had no maps of trail area. Staff was excellent and veryaccomodating.
Review 86:This hotel ranks itself as 4 stars, the facility is old, far from being up to date Water pressure in the shower is very poor, it is a very basic hotel at relatively high price. I would recommend trying the residence inn by Marriott at the town center
Review 87:No television except 1 channel, No Internet service. At check-in clerk not at all friendly and did not welcome us.
Review 88:Location was near friends. Room was very clean.
Review 89:Although a nice hotel, it is located in a very busy area. There was a lot of road noise that disturbed our sleep. It has a "Pancake House" beside it; which is a reasonable 'fast food' restaurant. Good location for getting to Snoqualmie Falls.
Review 90:Great noise created by neighboring rooms opening taps taking shower. Hotel needs improving sound-proof between rooms.
Review 91:Friendly and helpful staff. Location convenient.
Review 92:Linens had blood stains on them. Only noticed at the end of our stay. Disgusting! Also, dirty hand towel left on bottom shelf of night stand. Didn't touch that either.
Review 93:Convient location.
Review 94:Swimming pool; total deceptive picture; teeny tiney noisy problem withcoffee pot not resolved lack of comfortable seating no fragrant freesoap/shampoo
Review 95:Continental breakfast
Review 96:First night (arrived late and tired) heat in room did not work. Verycold. Next morning reported it and returned later in day to find newheating element, but still cold. When complained, every effort was madeto find new room and we moved. All ok from then.
Review 97:Staff very helpful and receptive
Review 98:dust under the table, bed sheets (tight, one too ligth, with the blanket too heavy), price
Review 99:location, staff, soap :-), shower pressure (but weird shower head), space for table, wi-fi.
Review 100:We stayed on the second floor, above us, apparently, was a family with kids. Not much noise abatement in-between their floor and our ceiling.
Review 101:Good location.
Review 102:We were on the second floor, and the people above us made lots of noisewalking back and forth on squeeky floors from five am on.
Review 103:I loved having the van service to take us right to the tents and pick usup immediately following the program. It was great!
Review 104:1) Parking. Please make the spaces larger. &Quot;Compact" clearly is interpreted by most drivers as "anything smaller than a moving van" and so there were many drivers who took 2 spaced because one was just not enough. Wouldn't it be better to have a slightly larger space rather than have all of those people parking in 2 spaces?2) I travel worldwide and have connected to the Internet everywhere. I could not connect in your hotel.
Review 105:Central location
Review 106:I selected the Redmond Inn primarily because of its proximity to my mother's assisted living facility. I found the hotel to be quiet, clean, and comfortable, as well as being a wonderful bargain through Booking.com. The hotel is undergoing some cosmetic renovations which should make it even nicer in the future. The included breakfast was adequate and well-serviced. I certainly will consider it as my first choice during any future visits to the area.
Review 107:Staff was unhelpful - not particularly friendly - were preoccupied and indifferent
Review 108:Can't think of anything.
Review 109:The decor, peaceful surroundings, very good breakfast!
Review 110:Has a bit of a Motel 6 feel. Comforter was stained. Hadn't looked washed is weeks.
Review 111:Ease of check in and check out. Friendly staff.
Review 112:Front desk staff were rude.
Review 113:Location
Review 114:Location to our family and cleanliness.
Review 115:I am a smoker and I would have preferred being on the ground floor with easier access to outside.
Review 116:the whole package, breakfast was awesome!
Review 117:Room faced a major hiway . Bad traffic noise. Old furnishings, dingy room but clean. poor food selection for breakfast.
Review 118:Great breakfest
Review 119:We could not use our aarp or aaa discount.
Review 120:Nice breakfast and cleanliness of buffet area.
