Review 1：smelled like cigarettes throughout the first and second floor hallways and sometimes got into our room. that was our only complaint though.

Review 2：the cleaning staff was extremely consistent and did a pretty thorough job. we never felt uncomfortable walking around the room barefoot. also, the staff was very personable and friendly. didn't try the breakfast but the guy that checked us in did mention it.

Review 3：we had to move 3 times because of bad smell as cigarette,guest was fighting next door, and when we call, the frond desk he was by him self and could not do anything, we had to call 911.

Review 6：The room is spacious, very clean, and smells really nice. The hotel is quite and very close to few restaurants. This hotel is very good for the value it's charging.

Review 7：I liked the way it was tucked away but still very close to everything. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Very close to Silver Sands State Park, which is lovely. I trusted previous reviews and agree that it is a great value for the price. I would choose to stay there again.

Review 8：My reservation for the hotel was not in their system even though I had received a confirmation from your site. Fortunately I had downloaded the site to my phone so i could prove the reservation and price. The counter staff appeared not to be happy that I had.

Review 12：Conveniently located just off the highway, this chain motel offers high-quality standardized service for a reasonable price. The room was spacious, clean and quiet (despite the proximity of the highway). The staff was friendly. The fact that the motel doesn't serve breakfast didn't bother us at all as there are plenty of breakfast places within a few minutes drive. Besides, free coffee is offered in the morning. P.S. Check out the Mormon Bible in the drawer.

Review 17：This time around the toilet was making noises that interfere with my rest for the night. The room was not clean it had crumbs on the floor as if it was not cleaned properly. The air conditioner was not working for most of the night that was very disappointing.

Review 19：I didn't like that I had a rate from booking.com and when I got there my information was not in the system and the amount due for greater than what booking stated. It was more money when I got there. Booking adding the tax according to the site. I has to cut my trip short and stay one less day. Also I didn't like that the only room that was available was a handicap room. It was a great room, but I don't know what a regular room looks like. I didn't notice that the room was a handicap room until my company arrived.

I don't appreciate that.

I had booked my stay with them through booking but they didn't have my reservation, but Staff was helpful and still gave me the room I wanted still at the same price. Their outdoor pool was nice and clean. We had a good stay and definitely stay there again if we need too.

Review 34：There is a disconnect between Motel 6 and Booking.com. My reservation could not be found at first try on two advance phone calls and not at all when I arrived.

Review 37：Walls are paper thin and we could here the next room when they weretalking normally. We had to move rooms at 11pm when the people next doorwouldn't stop talking. Not fun with kids and a lot of luggage.Luckily the room down the hall had quiet neighbor'S. Also asked fora crib which we were not provided and the front desk clerk did not haveany clue on where to find one so we had to go without. She blamedbooking.com and said they didn't provide the information. Overallnot a pleasant stay but we were there a very short time. Arrived alittle before 10pm and were up and gone by 8am

Review 39：Our room was spacious and well equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, iron, ironing board. Bathroom was also spacious and had good water pressure. Interior was modern and clean. Overall a very pleasant stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting New Haven as it is only 15-20 mins by car.

Review 40：Night manager rude and ignored calls to front desk. Booked 2 king rooms, got 1 double and 2 doubles, even though I showed my reservation proving I booked 2 king rooms. When I got my keys 1 didn't work. Called front desk from the room we could get into,only to have noone pick up. Went down 4 floors to front desk and manager is talking to girlfriend or wife and a 9 yr old girl (its 12:45am)....but you can't answer the phone a foot away from you?. Fixed key and got back to the room I didn't book. Entire experience awful!

Review 48：It was way more than what I expected from motel 6. It's definitely better than many hotels that o have been to. The beds are very comfortable and there are some great things to do and places to eat in the immediate area surrounding the motel.

Review 49：Housekeeping slammed on our door at 9am, scaring us all, and not bothering to announce who they were. All we saw was a man in regular clothes we didn't know, so we didn't answer. Then he forcefully tried to get in. It happened again at 11am. We only knew it was housekeeping when we saw him in the hallway with the cart.

Review 54：I had requested a smoking room and a early check in which was not met. The new owner had just taken possession of the property. I did make the requests early on and was responded to that it was not a problem. Once I arrived it was. The room was smaller with no real sitting area as pictured on the website that they eventually put me in. The hotel was no smoking which was not responded to when we made a request for a smoking room. They do not serve any breakfast even though they have the set up for it from the previous chain. That was kind of confusing for my husband who was hoping for at least a continental breakfast and coffee. The TV line up was horrible. Thank God for WiFi and Netflix.

Review 55：The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, very quiet, and my request for microwave and refrigerator was met. The bed was comfortable and plenty of towels. The pool was nice and roomy for guest with children with a nice picnic style seating poolside. Restaurants are not far away.

Breakfast could have been a good addition although because of its vicinity to Route 95 there were plenty of breakfast choices. Review 70：for one of our colleagues we've been charged twice. when I called they didn't even find that he was at the hotel though I sent them the bill they gave... he was there 3 times in 2 weeks. I called the hotel several times regarding why he was charged again when it was a prepaid reservation, they don't even bother to answer me over the phone or via email. It happened nearly 2 weeks ago and it is still not sorted! Shame... :(

Review 71：Breakfast was awful. Cold watery oatmeal. Decaf & hot water but no coffee! from about 7:10 to 7:35. They had put out some real coffee by the time we checked out at 7:50', but they had only powdered creamer. Desk clerk at 10 pm check in was unfriendly and I had to ask many questions to find out a) where our room was b) where the elevator was c) where the exercise room was d) where breakfast was. We could hear people in adjoining room showering We had to move furniture to find an outlet for phone chargers

Review 73：We was sent to an occupied room at first, then the heater smelled like it was burning, we didn't have hot water for like 3+ hours and the fire alarm went off and the fire department came because of a gas leak in the back by the pool. I understand things happen but nobody even apologized for the inconvenience. We never seen any type of management. That wasn't hospitable and i know what I'm talking about I'm a hospitality major on my last semester to my BA .

I reserved 4 rooms and received either someone else's room or a room which wasn't cleaned. They are very low staffed and could use more people. The hot water ran out the very next morning I was there. I'm never staying at this brand again. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Review 81：I cannot emphasize enough that the most important thing in regards to a hotel property is cleanliness. It makes you forget about all the other people that have stayed in the same room. It determines how comfortable your guests will be. Please I hope the hotel continues to place emphasis on cleanliness. I hope the owners pay their housekeepers well too. That being said the housekeeping have to start early so if you are checking out that day and you don't wanna be bothered by them, just use your do not disturb door hanger ;-) the linens and towels are all super white and smell clean. They don't use those useless dirty comforters and bed runners that seem to not be washed well. You can catch the highway quickly and conveniently because its literally around the corner. The foliage insulates the noise from the highway though so you can still have a quiet night. Wireless service was fast. T.V. Channels were substantial. The furniture, tv, and fridge were all updated.
