Review 5：We asked for the hotel to pick us up at the airport but after waiting for 30 mins, no one showed up. We had to get another taxi instead. Also at check in, no one greeted us for sometime and it was very hectic. Tour company associated with hotel is pricier than those in town. Maybe scout around town before you commit to any tours.

Review 6：Good location, easy walk into the main strip of town. Good selection of food at breakfast. Friendly staff. Also there is a yoga teacher who comes to the hotel a couple times a week. They have a tour company with the hotel with some decent tour guides.

Review 7：Apparently the town is one of the most humid in the country - however believe this pousada is particularly suffering from this issue. some rooms more than others strongly smell of damp / not very pleasant. Would be understandable if price was lower but we paid similar amount in other cities for much higher quality.

Review 13：Lovely location to stay, paying attention to the small details. Best breakfast so far in Brasil (could compete even with 5 star hotel in Rio we have stayed in: less choice - still more than you would need - but better quality) especially to be mentioned fresh home made yoghurt, muesli (cerials), jam, choice of tasty cheese and much more. Guided tours offered in cooperation with Daniel (Brasilien Adventure) are very good.

Review 14：Excellent pousada in very tranquil location. Large room with great shower. Staff is incredibly helpful. Best breakfasts we had in Brazil. We organised all our treks through Brazilien Adventure who provided excellent service. Would definitely reccomend

Review 15：Travel agency having slightly higher prices than the average in the town (15% extra), where my understanding was that it is due to smaller groups and English speaking guides. However, on one of our tours, the group was larger than expected and the guide in our car did not speak English, which made it less comfortable).

Review 16：Nice setting of the pousada, green garden, tastfull design. Travel agency directly in pousada. Staff speaking multiple languages and very helpful (let us have shower in our room after check-out and arranged for bus tickets purchase) and pleasant approach. Short walk to very nice city center of Lencois with plenty of good restaurants (surprisingly many and some very good - for the small town in mountains)

Review 18：Beautifully located on a hill, parking on site. The stand alone pousada's are wonderful with deck seating. Contential breakfast included. Tour excursions scheduled on site.

Be careful with the in house tour company - we booked an english tour which was mainly in German with a smattering of English and the next one we did we didn't get to see half of what was planned for the day with only a minimal discount offered.

Review 22：Beautiful pousada in a quiet area of Lencois. The staff was super friendly and the travel agency there is really great. The travel agency organised all Trips for us and even how we can get to our next destination. We felt like being at home and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the beautiful garden. So far the best pousada we have been to in Brazil.

Review 30：Not sûre about the price of the tour organised from the Swiss staff. (Swiss owner too). They exaggerate with prices, we found much cheaper in center. Also they pretext some prides for some reasons but actually guides give a prices and the Swiss staff tend to refuse it to incease the margin.... That's the reality :-). Nothing to say about the room.

Review 33：This was our best accomodation in all of our Brazil trip. It's a slice of heaven itself. Beautiful gardens, friendly and welcoming staff, great room/hut. Loved it! A very pleasant experience indeed.

Review 35：The rooms are big, beautiful and clean. We had a big terrace with a hammock. The whole setting of this pousada was just amazing! The breakfast was huge and had so many different choices - also healthy options which can be rare in Brazil. They had a travel agency located in the pousada which was super professional and helped us right away. Friendly staff. Just a few minutes walk from the central of the village. I would stay there again!

Review 36：Guests of the pousada leave normally at 08:30h for their tour. If you come to breakfast after that time, you might be disappointed, but that's not a problem at all.

Review 37：The pousada has no luxory, but the garden is beautiful and the location is very good - a short walk to the center of the village. It is very convenient to book your tours with the in-house tour agency. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Review 38：Only negatives to note are: the number of mosquitos in the area, which can be annoying in the open dining/breakfast area and the beds do not have mosquito nets (yet); and no wifi in rooms for the pretty slow internet (but fine given the remote area, and Chris is putting in repeaters so wifi can reach the rooms in future).

Review 39：Set in beautiful grounds a short walk up a (steepish) road from the main square and bus stop (tell the hotel I you are arriving by bus an they will pick you up, which is helpful to locate the hotel for the first time). Warm welcome from owner Swiss Chris. Spacious, clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely decorated rooms with hammocks outside rooms. Good sleep quality. Good breakfast (great by Brasilian standards). Unassuming restaurant but we discovered early on in our 7 night stay that this restaurant was better than any other we found in town, thanks to the lovely and talented Charlotte in the kitchen (just be mindful it is a small kitchen so suggest ordering in advance to avoid waiting). We are there 5 of our 7 nights (excellent salads, pastas, burgers and wines). Hotel was helpful in organising a day tour to the Cachoiera da Fumaca, which was good (although we had a better experience with a guide we hired independently from town on another day for a cave tour - this is a personal preference though). Highly recommend this Pousada.

Review 40：Bed was uncomfortable and having to climb steep streets to get back to the pousada…but a 3 reales (approx. $1.50) bike ride gets you back in no time! More benches along the property are needed to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Review 75：The warm welcome after a delay of the bus, I had to take a taxi. They offered a bigger room taking our age into consideration and reimbursed the fare of the taxi. In addition they arranged to find a excellent guide to walk in the Chapadas the next three days ! Breakfast the best of all taken in Brasil !

Review 77：The location is good and within uphill walking distance from the center of the village Lençois. Well kept and peaceful botanical garden of about 5 hectars. The 13 bungalows are homely with spacious bathroom and cosy veranda with hamac (the fact that they have no TV is a big plus in our opinion). The furniture and decor artistically executed by a local craftman named Zeca are not only comfortable but have a quiet, rustic elegance that helps everyone relax. Excellent breakfast, especially the variety of juices, breads, fruit and locally made cheese. During our stay free Yoga sessions were offered to guests by a contracted professional. From the two owners Chris (anciently a Swiss banker reconverted to more natural values) and Sandra (a knowledgeable Brazilian geologist), to Marcela at the front desk, to the gardener, to the night guard, and to housekeeping staff, all have always been friendly, helpful and effective. Chris organized competent, inexpensive guides which where fully up to customer expectations (hiking, horse-riding, touring). Perfect. We warmly recommend the Pousada Vila Serrano.
