Review 1：staff too busy with Whatsapp to notice customers, rooms not cleaned every day, 6 lanes of traffic between lake and hotel ( vontrary to hotel information), nonstop French Chansons at Restaurant will drive you insane!

Review 3：They have amazing staffs who treat you like a king and queen! They know great customer service's way which I didn't see like that in Europe. When you need them they are with you in a second. Amazing breakfast. Calm,clean and free pool and Turkish bath. Nice view to lake. Sweet balcony. To sum up amazing service

Review 6：The location is a little out of town but there are plenty of dolums (mini buses) to take you too and from town and to the island - so it wasn't too much of a problem for us.

Review 8：Only sorry I forgot to pack swimsuit so could have used their pool during my one morning there as it was raining steadily outside so could not take the walk along lake I had anticipated nor use the terrace balcony. This only had partial lake view and do not consider it worth paying extra for. Would use again but just book ordinary double room - or else book a hotel that is actualy on the lake itself as did not feel got the lakeside experience/views I was expecting. Also they delivered 'complimentary fruit basket' to my room but a third of the fruit was rotting and inedible and rather spoiled 'the compliment' - in fact found it downright insulting to offer guests food that was 'going off'.

Review 9：They delivered everything one would expect of a 5* hotel. Good minibar and room service food on first night of stay when didn't feel like going down to restaurant. Breakfast next morning was varied and plentiful. Superb. Excellent free wifi used in room and patisserie.

Review 10：The location is a little bit remote from the center of the city and not directly on the lake shore. The a la carte menu in the restaurant is of average quality and is quite expensive

Review 12：The hotel is located at the other side of the Van-Edremit road, more far than we thought from the river. There were a lot of mosquitoes in the terrace; we couldn't enjoy it.

Review 13：Close to the airport. Good views to the lake from the rooms with terrace: beautifull sunset. The rooms with terrace are big enough and clean. Fridge, kettle and complimentary gift. Very confortable and big beds. Good pillows. Nice, big and very clean bathroom. One of the best showers in our travel. Small and nice swimming pool with clean cloakroom. Professional staff. Good breakfast and tasty and good priced dinner (consider that it is a five stars hotel) in the Restaurant.

Review 14：Staff at reception sometimes lack common sense - can't find the schedule of a public minibus for instance - a fairly easy task to my opinion. A bit far from the city center (8km = 30 TL).

Review 15：Room and price are nice, and most certainly the second best hotel in the region. Very close to an excellent restaurant as well next to a Auto shop.

Review 16：First day we arrived Van around 6 am. And all places were closed in that time. So we went to hotel for asked check in. Generally hotels doesn't accept before spesific time. But they didn't care that and gave our room. It was great after a long bus trip. Especially the staffs were excellent. Breakfast was also great but 'Van Kahvaltısı' part would be bigger.

Review 35：We had to ask for towels, very little English spoken. I could not get tour information via email before our reservation. The "help" desk was never manned.

Review 37：The staff seemed to be genuinely friendly and helpful during our stay, but it turned out to be a lie because when we left they played a really mean trick on us. My wife was ill with a stomach bug and we needed a taxi to take us to Agri (3 hours trip) to catch our plane . The manager pretended to hire a VIP car for us and then sent us off in a battered old taxi with no aircon. They pretended to give us their uniformed driver but he got out on the outskirts of Van and we were left with a non English-speaking driver. The hotel chauffeur seemed to think this was a huge joke. It's the first time we've ever used a 5 star hotel - probably the last also! Really disappointed!

Review 38：As a nature lover I found the wasteland across the dual-carriageway road adjacent to the hotel was ablaze with wild flowers amongst the heaps of rubble, and there were white-headed ducks & other species in the lagoon beyond the reedbeds on the edge of Lake Van.
