Review 1：The window tint was missing in spots and there was tape around the window. There was no lighting near the window. Did not matter during the day but at night that area was too dark.

Review 2：The view was spectacular. The rooms were very spacious. Free breakfast for kids was great.

Review 3：If you didn't shower early enough hot water didn't seem to last. Also I would recommend checking your bill. Closely for double charges. Apology given Correct amount then refunded to card Explained glitch changing from 2015 to 2016. No TV guide in room or on tv so unable to see what shows available to watch

Review 5：We really enjoyed the beach front location with free beach chairs. We also liked the two restaurants attached to the property. It was a great location with restaurants and shopping across the street. Housekeeping (Raquel) did a fabulous job cleaning our room DAILY! Not only do they give you fresh towels daily, but they give you beach towels too! Didn't need to bring any! Overall, we had a great time!

Review 6：I was charged more at check out. My reservation was for one amount and they tried to charge me 45 dollars more. They settled for ten more. The palms building is noisy. If getting up when they pick up the trash at 7 am is not to bad.

The rooms in the Shells building only have large windows (which open and still provide an amazing view of the water). Can't wait to come back!

Review 35：Resort is in a great location with plenty to do in walking distance. Beautiful ocean views from our room. Enjoyed the pools and the use of the bicycles and beach chairs as well as kayak.

Review 36：Rooms were pretty small, you walked in and the 2 beds were right there and the bathroom was small as well. If your staying 4 to a room, it's tight. Also, you could hear anytime someone walked by the room, if they were talking etc, but we were there with friends for a fun weekend, so it didn't bother us too much.

Review 37：Location was amazing! Right on the beach, had to walk a little bit to get to the ocean, however but many bars and restaurants in walking distance. The amenities were great...beach volleyball courts, fire pits, bar and restaurant on site, free chair rentals for the beach along with kayaks and paddle boards and much more.

Review 38：The beachfront location and the view to the sea was perfect. All of the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was perfect, comfortable beds and well equipped with a full size fridge and cooking facilities. We wish we had stayed more than one night! Breakfast was very tasty. Ricky T's bar across the road had great food and live entertainment.

Review 54：Parking could be better, and the ramp to get to the Palms building is steep, especially with luggage or shopping bags. Being a Florida native, I expect a lot from our world class beach resorts, including easy access. No late night food or activities. Very loud patrons were not quieted the next morning.. quite disturbing during breakfast. Bathroom in room was very small. No smoking on balcony which I didn't agree with or understand... who cares about that? Recommended offsite restaurant called the Middle Grounds was awful.. don't waste your money there. Would not have gone there without hotel assurance of positive fine dining, which it was not. We were very rushed through our meal by wait staff who brought out entrees (which were sub-par) literally 7 minutes after our salads. If it improved 30% might be as good as Outback.

Review 55：There was plenty of room on the beach and by the pool. Loved the clean sparkling pool water, and the lounge chairs were well maintained. Rooms are well cleaned. Food/staff at Sloppy Joe's were outstanding. Me and my boyfriend (who is much younger) had lots of fun at night enjoying the breeze at the open bar/restaurant. It was extremely romantic and we had a fantastic vacation with very few exceptions.

Review 56：The entertainment in the listing (ie outdoor films) didn't happen whilst we were there. The "free" sun-lounger is a chair which i didn't realise, so we had to then hire a bed (expensive from beach hire company)

Review 57：This hotel is all about the location. I have been to other hotels in the area, but this is my first time at The Bilmar. They are undergoing renovations at present so things will be more modern soon.

Review 63：I was treated very poorly by one of the female bar tenders at the outside bar at Sloppy Joe's. What I mean in this is that she gave me a two dollar bill for my change when I ordered one drink. I gave a one dollar tip as I knew I was going to be coming back a few times and only ordering one drink at a time. The next time I came up she was rude, left me standing waiting ignoring me and talking to another waitress/bartender and it took me 15 minutes to get one drink. Very poor bar tender service and she was rude! Luckily I was in a good mood that day and refused to let a 20 something year old bar tender with an issue doing her job ruin my day and vacation.

Review 64：We had the room on the ground floor next to the restaurant so it was a bit loud in the morning. Our refrigerator was very loud at times, especially in the middle of the night.

Review 92：The room was pretty tatty, dated and a bit squashed. I didn't like having to pay a resort fee for what didn't seem like you got anything (that you'd want). The bill at the end was confusing as there is tax added loads of times and the lady serving me, who seemed to have left her smile at home that day, was not even slightly helpful.

Review 93：We had a room that opened straight our onto the beach. The beach is lovely although very deep. loved having Sloppy Joes joined to the hotel, we ate here both nights. When we checked in the two girls on reception were really friendly and welcoming.

Review 123：Our poolside room was extremely loud especially on the weekend and well into the night. Our room had the appearance of cleanliness but upon further inspection it was not all that clean. The walls, baseboards, hairdryer, etc, were dirty and grimy. I bought cleaning wipes and cleaned them myself. I got the feeling the maids cleaned only what was on their "checklist" and not beyond that. The beds, sheets, and counters, etc., were cleaned daily but beyond that, no. I saw that they cleaned the floors with a bucket of water that was being used on all the other rooms, yuck! I would not stay again because of that issue.

Review 124：the location of the hotel was great, the beach was beautiful. There was a nice walking path in front of the hotel that we used daily and the chairs in front of the path provided by the hotel made for great people watching with a drink in hand from the hotel bar. The pool was nice if you could get a seat; you had to put a towel out by 8:30 or you were out of luck.

Review 125：The great location directly on the beach with a very helpful staff. It is in good condition for an older hotel. Only complaint is the very small bathroom.

Review 126：The WiFi did not work, constantly dropped signal during entire stay. The housekeeping person seemed irritated when we accepted her offer for housekeeping which we had declined the day before because we didn't need anything. She then asked what I wanted done.

Review 134：Road noise at night and early morning made it almost impossible to sleep. Kitchen unit drawers didn't look like they had been cleaned for some time. Bathroom seemed damp and incredibly small, could not get into the bathroom without opening door wide, allowing you to get passed the toilet. To say we were in a deluxe room, we were very disappointed.
