Review 1：Been insulted by the owner (she) on arrival 7:00pm for the first time after 25 hours driving at night under the rain. Doesn't make your stay pleasant to start with.

Review 13：This motel is in dire need of updating. It is right on the main highway and is extremely noisy so you can hear all traffic passing. Staff was friendly but absolutely no chance of early check in and no one staffing the office before 830 am. I would not recommend this hotel at any rate, especially during peak times since they jack up the rates during such times. It's a one-star, at best.

Review 15：It was so disgusting, I couldn't sleep there. Threadworn sheets and blankets. Fleas, bed bugs and spiders in bathroom. Cigarette butts etc on unswept dirty steps. Given 3rd floor, no. elevator hotel, wasn't remotely full

Review 16：This place was rough. Didn't look that way in the photos. The rusted window A/C shelves outside leaked on your head as you opened your door. The toilet ran all night. Was fixed when we complained. A/C didn't work well. Bathroom floor was stained. Could see daylight around outside door frame.

Review 22：The place was a dump, over priced, and the staff was rude, aggressive, and almost attempting to fight my husband and I because we needed to temporarily pull closer up to our motel room to unload a few very heavy boxes.It was also pretty dirty inside the rooms and we felt unsafe there at night. This place is bad. I would never recommend it or stay there again.

Review 30：Manager/owner woman not very pleasant. Had trouble with electrical power. Grounds around the motel not kept up whatsoever! Like no one has ever done any maintenance. Locked ice machine after 10PM? What in the hell is that all about? We could not obtain ice into the evening? It was in the 90's too! Ice would have been nice! We have never, never experienced this issue from any other lodge or motel in the keys, or anywhere else. Ridiculous. And the biggest issue...the bed was "crunchy"!!! When you sat on it, it actually "creaked and crunched" VERY LOUDLY! We have never experienced this issue with a bed! Like the innards were all destroyed and broken. No support either. Terrible. Terrible. And they did not know this? Plus, the cost for this motel was waaaaaaaaaay too high for what customers get. We would absolutely never recommend this motel.

His reply to me was ..it's a 70 year oldbuilding..and where could I stay for less than $200 on the ocean? I toldhim I live on the ocean in ft. Lauderdale. Do not venture near it

Review 71：Nothing the pool was green and slimy. A lot of broken glass. The upstairs conditioner water ran right in front of our door so always you were getting wet. The shower rod was held in place with a wad of toilet paper. The air conditioner was so load you could not hear the tv. No dresser for your close and no closet. Also no towel bar. In our opinion this place should be closed.

Review 72：Refrigerator was not cold enough to keep items in the freezer frozen and the frig part was not cold. Unfriendly and unhelpful front desk. No upkeep on the building, tub's finish was coming off, bathroom tiles missing cracked doors, it was terrible! On the website it looks like there is beachfront. there is none!!! Pool is tiny!

Review 74：I don't like that you can't check in late and there is a lock on the ice machine so you can't get ice during the night and you can't fill your cooler with ice??? Also, all 3 times I have stayed there, my friend has been approached and questioned about whether he was staying there and then grilled about what room he was staying in, I feel they may be a bit prejudiced towards his look, as it has happened to him more than once.

No hangers in the closet. Main door couldn't be secured properly. Grossly overpriced, even for an overpriced area for the Keys.

Review 113：after a 5 hour ride to the place, and after previously confirming over the phone that they would accept pets for a $25 fee, I was extremely offended by the clerk who told me "we don't accept shepherds nor pit bulls." Our family pet wouldn't hurt a fly, is well behaved and extremely friendly. So after seeing the dog from a distance we were approved rudely and banished to the very last cottage. NO screens, bathroom ugly, unclean, the "kitchenette" consisted of a coffee pot, microwave and small refrigerator all stacked up in size order with NO plates or utensils. The TV is a tube, the beds were lumpy, the a/c was over the head of the bed, there is NO DEADBOLT, the carpet was a green ugly worn out. This was a nightmare. BOOKING.com's showed different pictures then reality!!!! STAY CLEAR. For $150 it was not worth it. We would have been better off sleeping in our car, thankfully we stayed only one night and left well before checkout time.

The other thing is the noise of the street, the higway is passing just behind the hotel and you really hear the noise. According to me, the price was really too high comparing the quality of this accomodation.
