Review 1：To start off with one does not expect to have to call both cell & land line numbers upon arriving at the establishment only to get no response. Booking.com app rates the establishment as a four star which leaves much to be desired. The app states a mere 1 km from the N1 highway which in fact is 4.5kms. The bathroom is an adapted cubicle with poor finishes and an in bath shower meant for dwarfs. Furniture and fittings are odd and appear to have been thrown together.

Review 4：The host Marthinus was excellent - we were starting researching family history & Marthinus was instrumental in our success! So helpful. Ruth was also excellent, attentive & helpful. Great people. Place had a slightly rustic eccentric charm.

Review 5：No mats next to beds, you got out of bed onto cold tiles. No plates in unit so why have a microwave? Single beds No light in kitchen nook.

Review 6：Especially appreciated heating in cold weather, Electric blankets & heater. Good security. Functional shower.

Review 7：A cold room, not all the lights worked. TV channels were very limited SABC1,2,3 only. A small kitchenette with no cutlery or crockery? Just a microwave, fridge and kettle.

Review 9：We requested an early breakfast on the Saturday morning but nothing was prepared. We went through on the Sunday morning to see if we could have breakfast but once again no sign of life.

The owneralso just left was with the keys & remote, didn't bother to takepayment upfront which is very unprofessional. He didn't check up onus, we tried to call him but he was out/busy & was unavailable.The owner also failed to clarify payment issues with us. Breakfast wassupposed to be included, however it was not! The bath took half an hourto drain the water & othe bathroom only had 1 roll of toilet paper.The rusks & sweets provided were old & hard & we were afraidto eat it. The room is also poorly lit & the tv has only sabcchannels with poor signal. I would not go back to the B&B @ Bloem& would not recommond anyone either!!

Review 36：Bloem can be very hot, and while the room had a fan, it was noisy so wecouldn't sleep with it, and secondly the bright light outside meantwe couldnt leave the window open for fear of being sucked dry bymosquitos, other than that its a great place to stay.

Lovely big rooms with a separate bathroom andkitchen, complete with tea, coffee, fridge and a couple of midnightmunchies for free. The location was two minutes off the highway but farenough in a quiet suburb not to be disturbing.
