Reviews for B&B La Niouche
Review 1:There are lots of flies in the Ardennes in general and there were a couple flies in the room. Next time I would bring some fly catching tape and a fly swatter.
Review 2:The room was very nice and comfortable. The host made us feel very welcome and found a baby bath for my son. Breakfast was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.
Review 3:If you want to have dinner out you need to drive as the location is very rural.
Review 4:Beautiful location, made to feel very welcome and a great breakfast. What more do you need!
Review 5:Missing that charm I thought it had at time of booking. Basic rooms Ineed of re-furb or restyling. What spoilt it for me was being charged 30euros for 4 glasses of wine that really should have come with the 30euro per head. Dinner, very over priced and for that reason Iwouldn't go back.
Review 6:Noisette made the stay acceptable as very good host
Review 7:1. The location is a bit of far from the city center. Therefore, you must have a car to travel; 2. No TV in the room.
Review 8:1. We arrived earlier and found the room was already ready for us to check-in. Feel very happy about this; 2. The room is big and facilities are quite complete. There are snacks, water and water boiler in the room; 3. We forgot the dipper for our kid, but the hotel already prepared one for us. Quite surprised; 4. The breakfast was very nice.
Review 9:More ventilation would have been appreciated. Rooms are stuffy with two very tiny windows. Had no option but to keep them open at night inviting mosquitoes, insects and traffic noise in the morning as it's bang on the main road.
Review 10:The hostess made all the difference. Friendly and warm, she made us feel at home. Lovely, manicured garden with gazebo, perfect for sitting out late with a glass of wine. Home like atmosphere. Very thoughtfully done up rooms with complimentary cookies and goodies thrown in. Absolutely nothing was amiss.
Review 11:We were only there for one night and after staying at La Niouche we wish we could have stayed longer! The Hostess is very welcoming, friendly, and made us feel like family. The property is GORGEOUS! Our bedroom was fantastic and had a modernized bathroom. Breakfast was a delicious arrangement of breads, croissants, fruit, yogurt, meats, eggs, and bacon. Her dog is also very friendly and great with kids. We highly recommend this place!
Review 12:Hostess made us feel at home, willing to cook alternate meals for the kids. We had a wonderful evening and morning chatting with her and the other guests. Can't wait to return.
Review 13:Location, landscape, comfort, welcome, near to La Roche
Review 14:Nice rooms, very welcoming host.
Review 15:It is a nice place only 5 min from la roche. The place is excellent, clean, 24/7 acces. Host is friendly
Review 16:Great little B&B outside if Bastogne. Very family friendly.
Review 17:Really liked everything about this place. Lovely hostess, great place with plenty of character.
Review 18:Everything was great!
Review 19:Everything! It is beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Noise tote, the owner, was so very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast meals were excellent, and very large. I especially enjoyed the evening opportunities to learn more about the area over a glass of wine. I was also very appreciative of being shown some of the Battle of the Bulge foxholes, and hearing the history of the home during the battle.
Review 20:Fantastic hostess who made you feel at home and as if you were a visiting friend of many years. Very Comfortable room, beautiful Countryside. Very enjoyable evening meal and informal Conversation for four hours, then wonderful breakfast with plenty of home made product. A true Gem, hope first of many visits!!
Review 21:We were staying for one night at La Niouche with our daughter(6). Friendly, english speaking family and a playful little dog, Kookie. Lovely breakfast with local and homemade food. Very nice and spacious family room. Fantastic service - I forgot my scarf in the room and they contacted me to ask where they should send it :-) Thanks! PS try the back road from La Niouche into La Roche en Ardennes - it is beautiful!
Review 22:I felt a bit guilty to ask anything from that nice people. It's a strange feeling, I know, but still you may feel like you just came and intrude a family in it's house.
Review 23:Everything, basically. It's nice, it's cozy, and I think it's almost like renting a room from a family. The owners are very pleasant people, and they speak excellent english. And they have brilliant jams for the toasts! Also the view is magnificent. It's hills and fields and forest. Just stunning.
Review 24:No coffee/tea making facilty in room. Right next to a nain railway line. Although well sound proofed as long as windows closed.
Review 25:Lovely setting by the river. Friendly helpful staff.
Review 26:We had a wonderful stay! We were in La Roche because of the annualmarathon. Noisette, the owner, cooked us a lovely (pre-race) meal. Whichwe enjoyed at the large dinner table together with the other guests whowere also there because of the marathon. She also served an excellentbreakfast. Cannot believe she did all this cooking considering she brokea bone in her hand the day before we arrived! She also mailed us someclothes we left behind by accident.Next time we are in the area we willdefinitely stay with Noisette again.
Review 27:It was a little difficult to find this B&B. Our GPS did not find it's address. Please see the map on booking.com before you arrive. We had a room in the last floor under the roof. Watch out your head to avoid bump near the bed. The TV was lack in the room
Review 28:Very friendly English speaking B&B owner which heated our room before our arrival. Excellent breakfast. A lot of bathroom amenities. Very good wifi connection.
Review 29:The house is on a corner, and easy to find. However, our gps sent usdown the road about a km. We had to hunt around a bit. Since this is aprivate home, you do have to climb a flight of stairs. That may be a bitdifficult for seniors with luggage. Otherwise there is very little todislike bout this charming b&b and its delightful owner. What a treat!
Review 30:This is a quiet, stand-alone b&b in beautiful French farmland. If you'rethere for the military history, it is an easy drive to Bastogne and lessthan two hours to Verdun. In fact, this would be an excellent locationto stay two or three days to explore the entire area. The owner,Noisette Elleboudt, is a delightful woman who speaks excellent English. She also is a wonderful cook. If you have the opportunity to have dinnerwith her, it is well worth the 30 Euros per person. You'll not find abetter restaurant in one of the nearby towns. Breakfast was equallyelegant. She even prepared eggs to order! There is plenty of on-siteparking. Since she only has two rooms, book this one early. Our onlyregret is that we did not stay longer.
Review 31:we only stayed one night
Review 32:The whole package accommodation, food and the welcome from the ownwer and the dog
Review 33:Friendly owner who did her best to make you feel at home. Verry good breakfast: eggs, sandwiches, croissants, meat,..; I found rest there.
