Reviews for Bellagio

Review 1:Shower lever fell off, and figuring out where exactly to park before checking in is confusing.

Review 2:Beautiful quiet room with luxuriously comfortable bed. Great location and the hotel gym is very big and well-equipped.

Review 3:That we couldn't stay longer.

Review 4:Every detail in the decoration of the hotel was impressive, the friendliness and support of every staff member was quite remarkable and above most of big hotel chains that I stay in for business travel. The assistance of the Concierge desk to make reservation for shows was great too.

Review 5:Very expensive. Bigger print on the hotel bar dos and don'ts. Needed a magnify glass to read the DONT MOVE ANY ITEMS OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THEM AFTER 15 SECONDS.

Review 6:Beautiful hotel

Review 7:Terrible value with an average sized room with poor facilities eg no coffee and tea. Not enough robes. Mini bar senses are insulting. Basically a rip off.

Review 8:The location was good

Review 9:The checkin is at the entrance where everybody comes in. It is a little crowded especially at night. The smell of puke on the floor.

Review 10:It was awesome. Nice, clean and comfortable rooms and a lot of space. Good room service. Hotel is located in the middle of the strip.

Review 11:My wife broke her leg three weeks before our arrival. The hotel and box office staff were extremely accommodating in changing rooms and show seats in view of our changed circumstances.

Review 12:$10 for a bottle of water in the hotel room. no coffee making facilities and nearly $50 for tea and coffee to be brought to the room. It seemed like a scalping. We were staying all week.

Review 13:Booked and paid for a nonsmoking room a month ahead and was giving the worst smoke filled room ever. The smoke smell was so bad it was as if I was at a poker table downstairs at the Flamingo .

Review 14:Overall nice property , great location .

Review 15:The minibar is computerized, so if you even touch anything inside it, you will get charged for that item. Unfortunately, we didn't know this until we had already put a couple of our own items in there, jostling some of the Bellagio's stuff around in the process. We were charged for more than $150 of stuff in the fridge. We tried to explain we hadn't taken anything, and they said they will refund the charge when the maid goes to check and finds all is there. Let's hope that happens! So long story long, don't touch anything in the minibar unless you want to buy it!

Review 16:The staff was very friendly. We got upgraded to a room with prime views! The room was clean and comfortable. The location is in the middle of the strip, so it's very convenient to walk to anywhere you want to go. The botanical gardens and fountains are beautiful.

Review 17:Plumbing gurgled in bathroom when other rooms were using their facilities. Lighting was poor in room.

Review 18:Views from the fountainview room were remarkable! Good sized bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Internet speed was adequate.

Review 19:Like all Vegas resorts they know how to charge - a $32 per day 'Resort Fee' on top of the room rate is a bit of a swizz but they are all the same.

Review 20:Location and ambiance

Review 21:Lost the warm feeling of welcome we had in the past visits. Still amazing experience but we felt shorted by the experience. It was our Anniversary, not even acknowledge at any stage. Our room was not what we thought it was and no solution offered. We will be back for sure and hope it will still be as we remember the Bellagio to be.

Review 22:We love Bellagio, this was our 3rd time but somehow our less favorite.

Review 23:There was nothing not to like. A lot of the croupier staff seem a bit scruffy and amateur. The Cosmopolitan next door is much smarter regards the tables

Review 24:Beautiful in everyway. The creativity in design and the best restaurants. Our Penthouse was huge and had no need of a fountain view as we dined overlooking them on three nights. The Yellowtail and Lago restaurants were outstanding

Review 25:Price.

Review 26:Location and cleanliness. It is a very good hotel but i guess, its really over-rated. I checked-in here out of curiosity and I wont go back again. However, if budget is not a problem, its okey to try. Everything here will cost more than any other hotels. Breakfast buffet will cost 35USD/person but the food is really good. There are so many choices. A small bottle of water is 4.85 dollars. Be careful with mini-bar too - its censored operated , once you touch it, its automatically charged to your account. The location is right in the middle of everything. I transferred in a cheaper hotel nearby and I got a better treatment than Bellagio.

Review 27:Staff did not set up the bill correctly after explaining it three times. People next door were banging the door at all hours and staff did nothing

Review 28:Love the fountain

Review 29:Made a reservation at Lago, as told by front of house lady that this would be necessary but then when we arrived at the reserved time no table was reserved and we were placed at some "make do" table. Can't see the point of making a reservation and have no signs placed on tables to cover these bookings. Must say pasta was superb. Have never had such a long passage to walk down get to our hotel room

Review 30:After seeing very little Christmas decorations throughout the other parts of USA I felt I had found Christmas here with the most spectacular display. For such an enormous hotel complex it all seemed to work really well. We loved the location, was central to all the other major hotels. Tried several of their restaurants, especially enjoyed the Bellagio café for several breakfasts and a delicious meal at Lago. Enjoyed the Jean Phillipe patisserie.

Review 31:* Mini bar was used (half empty bottles) * TV dident Work even though I called Down several times * Slow room service (1 hour) * The line at the Buffet takes forever even though its half empty and arrogant staff * Warn Down hotel in general * Casino employees just looks bored and no smiles * Casino tables are often empty * Taxi line can be rediculas long and taxi staff are more interested in talking to each other than helping/working * Fact is, I simply went to other hotels to drink and play after the first couple of nights.

Review 32:* Nice room and clean * Checking in and out went well

Review 33:The room wasn't as I expected. Carpet looks old n bed n pillows looks cheap I have a better bed than that when u move it squeak. N no extra refrigerator for guest to put their own it looks that they only want to make money compared to Paris we stayed a night n we have our own refrigerator.

Review 34:Near on everything.

Review 35:Had to pay $6 to receiver a letter from the mail room then $6 30 min later for another letter.

Review 36:It's the Bellagio, it lives up the the movies and more. Clean, presented well, very helpful staff and an awesome location.

Review 37:I would have liked to have a small kettle in the room to make morning tea or coffee as we found it very expensive to order from in house dining.

Review 38:Bathroom luxurious and comfortable.

Review 39:Our luggage was stolen. The security wrote down the statements. And that is it. No one told us the updates and what the hotel is going to do with this. Nothing really happened. They didn't bother to find out the thief. Maybe 6000 dollars is too little for the hotel. The risk manager, who is supposed to be responsible for answering questions didn't show up until two days later. He said the hotel is not responsible for the case as it was our negligence. He will waive two nights resort fee. And that is it. The conversation just took him 10mins. And we waited for two days to talk to him. He must be very important person and very busy. The things in the luggage value 6000. Important identities are also there, not sure how much potential loss because of this. Didn't really feel helped by people from the hotel. Some are nice, but cannot really help. Maybe because they don't really care and don't want to take responsibilities. The stuffs are just responsible for the hotels, not the customers. The vacation was ruined.

Review 40:I found an charge error when I checked out and I brought my phone to the front desk. The front desk lady talked to me " I don't talk to your phone". This customer service needs to improve.

Review 41:Too smokey! I live in Minneapolis and really can't stand spending 4days engulfed in smoke. I wanted to go home after 2 days of it. AlthoughI was on a non-smoking floor, it still smelled smokey.Too hot in the casino. Bloody Mary in Lilly's was terrible, and so were the chicken fingers. I'm not sure the value is there at the Bellagio anymore.

Review 42:Classy, nice layout...

Review 43:No record of my reservation thru Booking.com not sure this is a Bellagio problem . The question remains how can you muck up a four letter surname

Review 44:The room and location and the staff

Review 45:Need more reception staff The events hosted at the hotel are annoying sometimes because they block your way to the hotel facilities (business center etc)

Review 46:It was very crowded during the recent holidays.

Review 47:We liked our rooms with prime view on fountains, excellent location with easy access to many attractions and staff who were very helpful and friendly.

Review 48:The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the middle of the strip yet only 10 minutes from the airport. The room was excellent and breakfast was fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and courteous.

Review 49:15-20 minutes walking to get supply (walgreens). Minimart at the hotel price is high. We need electric kettle, ask hotel hoisekeeping. Renting electrick kettle is USD 30 per stay!! What kind of 5 star hotel without electric kettle and pay rent?? Huge hotel, but too crowded.

Review 50:Grandeur hotel, beautiful conservatory, good food at room service. Good food at patisserie.

Review 51:N/A

Review 52:This hotel was in a great location in Vegas, it had everything we needed and the room was spotlessly clean. We had the best room too overlooking the fountain, couldn't have asked for more. We would definitely come back to the Bellagio.

Review 53:Everything, the view, the shower was half broken, when attendants came to deliver something that knocked aggressively on the door. It was an aggressive stay. I hated it

Review 54:The fact that we had a room to hide us from all the chaos

Review 55:Bellagio is starting to show some its age a bit. Stayed here 9 years ago and it had a clean fresh feel to it. However, it now smells like a lot of the older casinos with years of cigarette smoke sticking to the walls and the decor is showing its age. I don't think I will stay here again.

Review 56:Location

Review 57:A little bit hard to find good food at the breakfeast time.

Review 58:Very nice location even in comparison with other hotels on the Las Vegas Strip. Kind staff, very clean and tidy. Complimentary valet parking if you're staying at the hotel.

Review 59:Standing in line for the restaurant even when there were loads of free tables. Bedrooms a bit tired but very clean

Review 60:Great Location and front desk very helpful

Review 61:the check in took over an hour due to the crowds which was the only problem

Review 62:The facilities and condition of the rooms was impeccable. bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time.

Review 63:very old hotel, first room was dirty got moved then it had a bad smell. overall this hotel needs a revamp its ruining only on its old reputation. there are far better options

Review 64:great location

Review 65:I know it's a casino but our non smoking floor constantly stank of stale cigarettes. Staff at the front desk were rude. Had an issue with our booking where they didn't want to honour the booking price I had booked with booking.com claiming it was incorrect. Took 40 minutes of arguing with assistant manager before it got escalated to the manager and it was finally honoured. They did the right thing at the end but the attitude of staff was poor. Everything at the Bellagio is expensive.

Review 66:Great location.

Review 67:We experienced a problem with payment we rang from England to pay and was told it had been then we arrived it hadn't and we hadn't an authority sheet on my brother in laws card so it delayed our entry to the room and was quite stressful.

Review 68:The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was spectacular, hotel atmosphere was great and clean.

Review 69:the staff were too busy, so their responded wasn't so good when I called the guest service or housekeeping. Even the staff who work in the restaurant in the lobby were old women and not so good service.

Review 70:The lighting in the room was very poor. For 200usd a night one would expect a complimentary tea/coffee station or at least a bottle of water, but no. The staff were somewhat rude. The gym had no showers. The casino ground floor had dirty carpets. Overall, Bellagio felt worn out. The GM really needs to give the front desk staff some customer relationship training.

Review 71:The Olive restaurant in Bellagio was lovely, and so was the morning buffet.

Review 72:It had hidden fees they dont tell you about until your there "resort fees" and nobody there would tell me anywhere cool to eat or visit that wasn't in the hotel. like i went to Vegas just to see the Bellagio? cigarettes were 16 dollars a pack and when I asked the girl working in the Bellagio store if there was a CVS near by she snarled at me.

Review 73:The room costs 200 dollars more then was advertised well booking because of "resort" fees and extra taxes.

Review 74:$33.60/day resort fees (especially when it's winter), business center fees for things other than printing boarding passes: $1 per minute for internet access, $1.50 per black & white page printing, $5 per page to scan/fax.

Review 75:staff, service

Review 76:It's crowded. Try not to visit vegas in late Dec or early Jan. Wait 3 hrs to get a buffet seat. The noodles is so-so, compare to other food in the hotel.

Review 77:The resort is worth the value, you can't find a big nice room like this for only $200+ per night in the world. The music fountain is amazing.

Review 78:the minibar system ! smokers eveywhere actually i have a problem with my lungs ! it seems that i was in a hive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review 79:i like the view from the window !!!

Review 80:AC unit was not to the standard. I wish the hotel management can look into the AC unit, as cold room temperature is one of my must to have a good night of sleep.

Review 81:Everything the food and the location was great!

Review 82:Staff was arrogant at best, prices of on site amenities were extremely expensive... Additional room charges were ridiculous.

Review 83:The room was nice, clean and decent size. Location on the strip was very good.

Review 84:Front desk staff rude, curt, and condescending. Refused to correct their mistake when I reminded them that I had booked 2 queen beds, gave us a king bed with rollaway cot. Several outlets in room didn't work. Ridiculous to have to walk luggage through entire casino to get to room elevators.

Review 85:Feeling to be there to leave all our so appreciated dollars Too busy for year end

Review 86:Fantastic decoration for Christmas Fountains show Clean Quiet rooms despite the crowd Long corridors full of nice shops

Review 87:They do not provide coffee in your room. Either you can buy a small pot for $14 or large for $19 plus tip or get up and get dressed and go downstairs to one of the restaurants and be charged for it everyday of your stay. This is a 5 star hotel? What are they becoming a low price airline?

Review 88:The convience to everything.

Review 89:The location is great

Review 90:The staff are extremely unfriendly and the service is very slow. The check in took us 45 mins...The buffet restaurant staff were also very unfriendly, their uniform and apprentice did not suit a five star hotel and the treatment was really bad

Review 91:Bellagio tends to be a tourist attraction. It is super busy and hectic. The rooms section is quiet and awesome. Not so much about the Casino and lobby. Only complain was not having enough soaps and no brushing kit. We had toothbrushes but no toothpaste. I called housekeeping and they brought tons of stuff in less than 5 minute. Besides this nothing was wrong. This is a legit good resort. WiFI was a bit unstable at times.

Review 92:It is super close to everything. It is connected to Caesars and Ballys. It is right across Paris and Planet Hollywood. O Shows is hosted here which is great. It is connected to Aria by Tram. We got a king size bed and the room was huge. Staff were really nice. We did brunch Buffet and it was nice. Personally Wicked Spoon at Cosmopolitan was the best brunch we did.

Review 93:- although not the Bellagio's fault it was packed which made it quite uncomfortable for guests trying to get back to their room - not enough ushers to get you across the drive way

Review 94:- room although basic was spacious and comfortable - check in staff were friendly - hotel is very beautiful

Review 95:Because the hotel is stunning, there are so many people there that aren't guests that it makes it difficult to move around the lobby or sit on the couches that are located within areas of the hotel.

Review 96:The hotel is stunning and the room we had was very comfortable. If we came to Vegas again, I'd certainly look to book with the Bellagio again.

Review 97:House-keeping staff, the view, No complementary water, and long time wait for clearing the dishes after a meal, No international TV stations (Arabic, Italian). Noisy, loud and drunk guests in the casino, should not be allowed to disturb other guests (NO CLASS).

Review 98:The kitchenette, her and his bathrooms, large LCD, Large Closets, and In-Suite Dinning. The Dancing Fountain.

Review 99:We had four adults so reserved one room with two king beds but given one king plus one added full bed. We were disappointed for the mistaken arrangement although got two queen beds finally.

Review 100:Small bar has sensors for the snack if u touched and even not eat stillwill get charged by automatically. Then u need to take time to get yourmoney back. Take photo as reference. They don't check by people onlyby sensor.

Review 101:Book from booking.com cheaper than directly book room from hotel oreven from aaa.

Review 102:Coffee should be provided for guest in the room or on the floor. Our room was located too far from the elevator and seniors should be in a room closer. I would request a room that is much closer if staying again.

Review 103:The bed was comfortable and the maid service was good.

Review 104:The worst treatment of a disabled person I have ever received by a hotelsince my accident. When I booked I explained on the phone I would needassistance transferring from my wheelchair into the bed as I amparalyzed from the chest down and was told this would not be a problem, yet on arrival they said they would not be able to help with transfersso they would put me into a wheelchair accessible room with a ceilinghoist. The room did not have the sling needed for the hoist (There wasnot a single one in the hotel in any of the accessible rooms) so I couldnot get into bed and they still refused to help me so I was stuck in mychair for over four hours from arriving at the hotel around 7:00pm (thisis after a long day of travelling sitting on my bottom) putting me athigh risk of a pressure soar which I informed the hotel but they stilldid not show any signs of even caring in the slightest about the risk tomy health. We had to ask another hotel customer to help us to get meinto my bed. The hotel said a sling would be provided the followingmorning which they did not bring until 3:30pm (and we had to constantlycall the front desk up hour after hour as they did not keep us notifiedat all of when and where the sling was, during all of this we askedrepeatedly to have a manager come to the room as up until now we hadonly been contacted by our room phone but after asking none came to seeus for the whole stay not even for an apology) so I was stuck in beduntil thay time losing half the day and we were only in Vegas for 3nights. The treatment from the hotel made me feel like I was sub humanto them I was left deeply depressed close to tears and they ruined myfirst experience of Vegas. Do not stay at this hotel if you have adisability.

Review 105:Food is VERY expensive, no coffee or water in the room - a bottle of water in the room was $6!!!! Twice our room wasn't cleaned .

Review 106:Loved the location the restaurants and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. What they call 'standard/small' room was a great size and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed too!

Review 107:When we arrived to the hotel we were told that although our reservation was with preference of 2 queen beds, this is not a reservation of such a room.

Review 108:Bed sheet and one pillow case had red lip stick stain on them. couple of decorative vase pasted at the foot of bath tub , one vase was missing which left an ugly glue mark where the vase was supposed to be.

Review 109:view of fountain from hotel room

Review 110:Pillows made my alligies go mad, never experienced that before. I had to use the decorative ones. The Check in staff wanted me to pay a $400 deposit after I paid for my room in full during check in and she was very rude about it! Pool life guard shooed us away from sunbed that was $50 a day.. In mid winter we were almost the only ones swimming?? Then instead of sitting on his chair he stood at the steeps where we were swimming and stared directly at us, the whole swim it was most uncomfortable as it was a 3.5 foot deep pool with two adults swimming we didn't need such a close eye! Also couldn't seem to find a general food court the layout of resturants very bizarre!

Review 111:The bell boys were helpful and friendly and the shower was big and nice.

Review 112:We did not have slippers in the room, and the floor was kind of cold... Would be nice if the rooms had slippers for the guests.

Review 113:Amazing room, very comfortable and spacious. Great place to spend a romantic weekend.

Review 114:The room service and make up the room staff who were gold diggers and do not understand the basics of "Do not Distribute" signage especially if u have a 10 months old baby just landed after 17 hours flight!!! Checkout is not so simple as it appears or discriped. The front desk spent around 20 min trying to understand the invoice printed for me!

Review 115:The facility. The reception and other hotel staff except few exceptions. The location. The food is remarkable.

Review 116:Check in was the worst, front desk tried to over charge me. Their excusewas booking.com didn't inform u of the resort and other fees.

Review 117:Hotel and location was great.

Review 118:My friend visited the suite and moved items in the mini bar. I wasn't impressed with $50 restock fee or the extortionate mini bar prices - highest I've ever seen. Literally the only negative.

Review 119:Beautiful place, great location, professional staff.

Review 120:Paying a $32 dollar resort tax per night basically for Wi-fi not to mention a further 12% tax on top of your final booking cost.each room needs tea and coffee facilities.

Review 121:Location ideal with fantastic staff and facilities. First class service in a truly fantastic establishment!

Review 122:The price, ohhh the price. Just win it on blackjack and you're all good ;)

Review 123:Everything. Room is awesome. Clean. Staff awesome. Casino is fab. Guest access to the nightclub is amazing. Bathroom and room superb as always. My goto hotel for whenever I'm in Vegas!

Review 124:The facilities like breakfast was not clear. You Need to go to Buffet which is far from the rooms and they are anyone who can help you to carry you laguages. They are not any cafe or tee machine in the room what is usual in the Hotels of this categorie like Bellagio

Review 125:The confort of the room is good

Review 126:Nothing else than the room is provided with the price. No movies not even a bottle of water. Staying at the Bellagio I was not expected to hear "if you want to be sure your luggage is watched you need to pay" from the valet service... Avoid it if possible.

Review 127:The location is of course perfect.

Review 128:Long lines for everything, check-in, restaurants and check-out. Hotel is obviously too big for it capacity that it can handle.

Review 129:Spacious room and bathroom.

Review 130:No tea/coffee making in room. Queues for cafe in morning very long. Fridge & counter top only for pay-for mini bar. Lunch buffet finishes at 3pm

Review 131:Room standard good.

Review 132:I was there for the Rodeo and when ask to show it in the Poker room they said the hotel is not showing it.. I come every year and will not be back because I could not enjoy the hotel and watch the rodeo. I was with my 85 year old mother and at 6:30 every night she goes to bed and she was very disappoint not to be able to watch on TV. Will not be back

Review 133:The poker room was great

Review 134:No kettle for tea or coffee but that's a personal thing!

Review 135:Fantastic hotel right in te center of te strip. Lived up to everything I expected. Staff very friendly, hotel and rooms very clean and Cleaned every day. Casino very classy, nicest out of all hotels. The water show is amazing!

Review 136:No complimentary water bottles given a 5 star property.

Review 137:Views of the fountain from the bedroom was spectacular and location of the property is very central on the strip.

Review 138:I wanted a 5 star hotel! And it was not. No help with luggage, long long line at check in, no slippers in room, no coffee maker, no space in fridge. I like a cooffee when i get dressed. The hotel expects you to get dressed, walke through casino and then get a $5.00 coffee. Is this 5 star?

Review 139:Rooms where comfortable and clean, staff was friendly.
