Review 1：The staff was so friendly, the beach was so close and the restaurant across the street was so good. Especially Karen was so kind and helpfull! She really cares about her guests! We had a car and it was easy to get around to both Cape Point and Cape Town! I would recommend this place to anyone going to Cape Town!

Review 2：My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. Staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. The room is very comfortable, well equipped, clean and quiet. Plenty of choice for a good hearty breakfast. Overall a well run establishment with a high level of service. Located next to a beautiful sandy beach with headland walks.

Review 3：No Hot water when we came in. only after 2 hours. WiFi only in restaurant not in rooms. I was Charged twice for some of the cost it was returned 3 weeks later.

The location is great, although the sea view is over the station area; the fact that there is a station close by with trains to Cape Town and Simons Town may be an advantage for travellers who do not always want to use a car.

Review 77：We stayed at the Calders on nye. We managed to wake up at 09:30 just intime for the breakfast. We noticed that the check-out was scheduled at10! Whereas according to booking.com the check-out was from 10 till 12.We kindly ask to check-out at 11, considering that we woke up at 09:30.Sadly the lady at the reception, morning shift, was not flexible at all!We asked just for one hour of flexibility and she replied:"10:30 atlatest!". I think it was rude as insane, considering that we askedjust one extra hour and not for longer time. To conclude taking intoaccount the quality/price ratio, based on the services, andespecially the fact that Fish hoek is a dead-town I will never return tothis hotel in my life!
