This converted farm now offers many beautifully presented guest rooms and suites. Each room combines contemporary furnishings with a rustic touch and all rooms have been decorated to a high standard.

Review 1：no corkscrew, TV rather small for the size of the room. Placing it differently wouldimprove the pleasure and less loud for te neighbours.

Review 2：thoughtful design, unusal combination of basic-rustic and luxury. well worth a visit, would come again and stay longer.

Review 3：as it was very hot the room's ventilation was poor. The fan made a little difference. Suggest air conditioning or the like be installed. No bar fridge. no place in bathroom to hang/place clothes/ toiletries. only one bedside table and light

Review 4：as a wedding venue all the necessary "buildings" were on the property. no need to travel from a church to a venue

Review 5：We arrived to find that they didn't even have our booking. Then we were taken to our family room where there was no air conditioning, no fridge and no kind size bed, only a double bed. We had booked the accommodation based on these facilities being available in our room and that was confirmed on our booking confirmation however when we arrived we found that they dont have these facilities. Plus they didn't supply cots at all. I had requested a cot for our 14 month old and we drove 700km from Durban to this venue to find that they don't supply cots. The lady managing the resort was rude and obnoxious and was not accommodating at all. The only reason we didn't leave then venue and go and look for alternate accommodation is because we were attending a wedding.

Review 6：it is a liitle difficult to find the location. Ask for directions, and make sure you have the person on after hours duty's number if you will be checking in late. We didn't realise they sent it to us, so we spent quite a while waiting outside when we arrived. No fault of theirs, the fault was ours.

Review 7：extremely cheap overnight stay, including breakfast! Great beds. Clean rooms with space for 5 people. Quiet. Basic, but tastefully decorated

Review 8：The shower screen on the bath doesn't stop all the water from splashing onto the floor during a shower, so the mat/floor was soaked.

Review 9：I liked that Monte Bello is out of the city but close to the N1. The room is very comfortable and spacious with a nice bathroom. The heater had been turned on so the room was warm. Complimentary tea, coffee and water was available and Manager David was accommodating and efficient.

Review 10：David, our host was very friendly and helpful. Thanks for the special food 'parcel' for the road. Room cozy and warm - we really felt at home.

Review 32：It was wet and mushy where the car was parked and the swimming pool was empty with frogs galore. The breakfast was very basic with only scrambled egg as an egg choice. No margarine for those allergic to dairy.

Review 36：swimming pool was dirty and had frogs in it. the rooms had no towels. the one room had 8 shower caps and no towels there was no water to shower with. the breakfast was "gross" as in huge piled plates of bulk food waiting on the hot plate. the attitude of the check in staff was rude, to the extreme. the finishing / fittings in the rooms are extremely poor. the bathroom door does not close.

Heaters and electric blankets were switched on when we arrived back at Monte Bello, late evening, after attending a function on a nearby farm. Will certainly visit Monte Bello again in future as a stop over when traveling between Pretoria and Cape Town.
