Reviews for Trump International Hotel Las Vegas
Review 1:We love the fact that there's no casino. Although location didn't help with monorail, they did run shuttle every fifteen minutes back and forth to ceasars which is a good spot to hit everything from
Review 2:Coffee maker and hair dryer were not in working order.
Review 3:Beautiful spacious room with great views. Like the shuttles. Like the food in the restaurant. Exceptionally comfortable bed. Good helpful staff Quiet
Review 4:Lack of top floor bar.
Review 5:Great location, kind staff, classy decor. Kitchenette lacked facilities but staff will provide what you need. Spa underwhelming, but if you go ask for Katherine, who is lovely and did a beautiful job on my nails. Lobby bar lacklustre but take the free shuttle to Wynn's nearby which has a cornucopia of bars, dining and fun.
Review 6:Not easy to get to the LVCC A dedicated bus to take guests there and back would have been helpful It's a 2 mile walk After a day walking around a show that's a bit of an issue
Review 7:Quiet environment
Review 8:I knew about the resort fees, but the $500.00 security deposit was a surprise.
Review 9:Great location, if you want to be slightly off of the strip but still in the action. Right across the street from Nordstroms / and the mall. Fantastic view. Very, very clean and very courteous and professional staff.
Review 10:Good room facilities (micro wave, beverage, large one bed room, mirror television in bathroom) that are not available at other hotels I stayed before like Treausre Island or Mandalay.
Review 11:1. The hotel is not really on the strip, so if you are looking for a quieter area this would be a great choice 2. The breakfast was too expensive for what we ate 3. 1 day the housekeeper forgot to make up our room although we left the sign outside.
Review 12:We were upgraded to a suite because we were honeymooners so that was really nice. The suite was very nice and had everything in it. There's a shuttle bus that takes you to the strip, the busses we always available and on time.
Review 13:nothing.
Review 14:staffs were very kind. and service was really fantastic. because i got a upgrade room. it was good experience. we could have good honeymoon in there.
Review 15:- front desk didn't acknowledge issue during booking of room which resulted in a approx 50% over charge, bookings.com are sorting it out. - resort fee seems excessive, it's just a 5 star hotel, with no resort facilities - some rooms overlook a railway, which is loud, even 35 floors up! - it's a bit of a walk from the main strip, 5-10mins
Review 16:- large and spacious rooms - opposite to fashion show mall - so convenient for shopping etc
Review 17:There was an unauthorized charge which was placed on my credit card. It was removed once with no problem. But it was placed again after we left. When I called to sort it out the woman in accounting was rude, unhelpful, and blamed me bc I allowed them to have access to my card.
Review 18:The property was clean. Most of the staff were polite and helpful. All requests were fulfilled quickly and courteously.
Review 19:Location far away from the strip. My pillow was dirty and unprofessional housekeeping who left cleaning supplies in my room.
Review 20:Clean room, shuttle service to strip and airport and spacious bathroom.
Review 21:Housekeeping were hopeless, always had at least 3 attempts to bring correct requests, barely spoke English.
Review 22:Quiet hotel, no casino , non smoking. Upgraded at front desk to corner suite, fantastic, only cost 75$ per night extra. Macey's across the road.
Review 23:It is not a 5 stars hotel. I booked also a baby crib but I never saw it (I had mine just in case) and they talk about how much they care about kids. Spacious room but there is not that feel of 5 stars hotel. Amenities not for a 5 stars. May be the price is an indicator!!!! Nothing for free. So reduce the stars rating and people will have a choice.
Review 24:Nothing especially.
Review 25:TV was not programmed, staff brought us cups while looking on his phone, did not refill shower gel, no variation of tee (only black and mint) hidden prices, 29$ facility fee a bit too much. And 5$ a bagel? If they said it was the best bagel in las vegas, sure. But it is not so too much.
Review 26:Quite a long distance frm the strip
Review 27:Nice soft bed. However bed moves when my partner moves, making it hard to have a good night sleep. Nonetheless if you are a sound sleeper you will have no problem enjoying the super comfy bed.
Review 28:Would like to see Trump keep a profile of requirements or requests on their customers. Such as when this person stays ensure there are x more hangers than usual.
Review 29:Love that I feel like when I come in after a meeting I am home.
Review 30:I sent my parents to Las Vegas for their 50th wedding anniversary. I booked the room in the Trump Hotel. They loved it!!! The staff was very helpful and I highly recommend everyone to use the Attache services. They went above and beyond my expectations!
Review 31:Inattentive waiter when in restaurant for breakfast. Having waited 10-15 minutes after being seated to get a cup of coffee, we resorted to asking other tables' wait staff to provide us a coffee and refill after our waiter apparently disappeared. However, the food was good.
Review 32:Room was spacious and comfortable; some nice amenities.
Review 33:Away from all of the chaos of the club and casino hotels, but still able to access Fashion Show mall across the street and walk thru to Treasure Island to catch the tram. It definitely made it seem like we weren't so far away from the places we wanted to be, but we were as far away from the places we didn't want to be.
Review 34:Everything was amazing. The staff was very nice and helpful. Valet was wonderful and the shuttles drivers were professional and helpful with any questions we had. They made you feel welcome and in the mood for the Vegas experience. My hotel room had the most amazing view and was the best I have ever stayed in. I will definitely be booking a room in the future.
Review 35:I did not like the valet only option because I do not like to have to wait for my car. It was located near a railroad, so I was able to hear a train pass by during my sleep. I wish the television was larger and the internet service, which was part of my resort fee, was horrible.
Review 36:I liked the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I liked the cleanliness of the suite. I also appreciated how it accommodated our needs during our stay, very comfy.
Review 37:Nothing bad. But I think an indoor pool and some stuff to entertain the kids inside the hotel would have been good. Most of the folks who select this hotel are families with young children who want to avoid casinos. So any kid friendly activity inside the hotel would have been good
Review 38:Stayed at Trump International during the Thanks giving week. Kids absolutely enjoyed the stay. This hotel is off the strip with no Casino inside which was exactly what we were looking for. Location- Very close to the strip but off the strip and walkable. You can easily access the strip through the Fashion mall. Mall has a nice food court and if you like Indian food one of the nicest Indian restaurant. The restaurant at the hotel is also really nice. The location is close to everything and at the same time far from all the madness :-). Services- We stayed at 2 bedroom queen room which was quite comfortable. Beds were really nice and Kids just loved it !. Staff was friendly and was very receptive and responsive to all our requests. Most importantly this hotel does not charge additional fee for kids under 12(others charge $40 per night per kid) which was a big plus for me. Free wifi is includes in the $29 resort fee that the hotel charges . Hotel- Hotel was really nice with good ambience. Room was cozy and since equipped with a small kitchen was ideal for our stay.(You need to ask for the pans and silver if you need them). Very comfortable beds and the room had a nice view of the strip. We realized how good this hotel is only when we happened to visit the other hotels around for shows!. My family and I really enjoy the stay there and would absolutely come back.
Review 39:We stayed 1 more night and we got a high rate for the following day directly from the hotel receptionist. Later I checked the rate here in booking.com and it was much lower. Next time I will book the room only here with booking, com
Review 40:The room was beautiful, comfortable with the hot tub and TV built in the mirror in the bathroom
Review 41:Maybe some utensils in the room would be good for people wanting to have their own food. Also when you arrive they will always try to upgrade you which obviously costs so be aware you will start with the worst room.
Review 42:Fantastic hotel with excellent facilities! After staying 2 nights at the Venetion also we actually preferred the Trump due to not having a casino and all the hustle and bustle that comes with it. The pool area is amazing with gorgeous beds and extremely relaxing. It's is a stones throw from the strip and just over the road from the Wynn which is more North strip. However with this hotel there are regular shuttle services which were great and ran from the Wynn until 2 in the morning on a weekend. The shuttle staff were excellent too. I would definitely return to this hotel if I went back.
Review 43:The carpet smelled like cigarette smoke and made it difficult to sleep. No tea/coffee supplies. The shuttle to the strip was infrequent and often full. I would stay on The Strip next time.
Review 44:The room was spacious and comfortable.
Review 45:Sink clogged, tub hot water tap seized, fridge not working properly and froze our food, waited 2 hrs for room service to get supper delivered -and after several calls was sent a 2 glass small bottle of trump wine that taste like homemade wine, chocolate ( hope that was it) on bed sheet.
Review 46:Location, non smoking hotel with fridge and kitchen and large jacuzzi tub
Review 47:Room and Outside property needed cleaning and garbage pickup. Also on my reply at checkin about special occasions being celebrated ( Wife's Birthday ) nothing but extra Tea was givin I thought that was a poor response by a top end hotel
Review 48:No Casino on Property
Review 49:no keatel for hot water , really this buzzer me , next time I will buy one , and food options very little no Arabic or Middle East restaurant.
Review 50:Every think , it is superb hotel specially staff and my host was very nice guy I would like to thank him give me 3 days free for next stay .
Review 51:Nothing really it was as expected a top end hotel
Review 52:Good value up grade, room view was second to non. No casino therefore no smoky environment. Free shuttle. Lovely pool. It really is not far to walk to the strip. Next to fashion mall for shopping.
Review 53:Dont forget there's a $30US resort fee. Its definitely not worth it. The internet in the resort fee is very slow and drops out. We asked for extra water given we pay the resort fee but never got any. Unfortunately for us, our TV didnt work, the power in the bathroom didnt work, staff did nothing about the loud music blasting from 5am on Tuesday morning despite my husband ringing to complain. The pillows are lumpy and awful. We had this shower-like noise coming from the wall all three nights we stayed which kept us awake. I have stayed in Trump before where I had a great time. But this experience has shown it is not worth the extra money.
Review 54:It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. Being non smoking is an absolute plus in Vegas. The rooms are massive and the bathroom is amazing, complete with a TV in the mirror.
Review 55:The front desk reception person was too driven on upselling a higher level room at special price.
Review 56:The room was beautifully laid out and very clean. Enjoyed free shuttle service to other resorts on the strip.
Review 57:Shower was always cool, rubbish shower head, not enough plug points in room and a noisy hotel at night (wasn't appreciated), organized chaos valet parking.
Review 58:Hotel was spotless, room was comfortable, the bed was really comfortable, massive bathroom, fantastic views, no casino.
Review 59:I really didn't like how high room service was. But other then that I loved the food.
Review 60:We loved our stay at Trump International. The staff went out of their way to make sure your needs were met and that you were fully satisfied with your stay.
Review 61:Great hotel. Great view of the strip. Room very clean and spacious. Bed and pillows so confortable. Bathroom huge with a big jacuzzi bath. Excellent been able to use kitchen facility- housekeeping staff very friendly and attentive. Loved every minute of staying in this hotel. couldnt fault it. Location at far end of strip but hotel provides shuttle bus to caesars. Very enjoyable stay. Stayed in Caesars and Trump is much nicer. Would highly recommend!
Review 62:Next to train. Whistle blew in the wee hours of the night (state mandate for safety). TV in bathroom had no sound. Called for service. After service picture and sound worked when it wanted! Finally gave up.
Review 63:Rooms were well equipped and view of strip did not have to be blocked with drapes at night! Windows were mirrored. Breakfast service excellent.
Review 64:Pull out bed was a bit uncomfortable ask for 2 comforters so you can sleep on one
Review 65:Loved the friendliness of the staff and comfort of hotel! Complimentary shuttle as well as a private driver. Great place to relax and enjoy!!!
Review 66:A very comfortable hotel in an ideal location with efficient, friendly staff. Valet parking gets you in and out of the hotel quickly. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the little restaurant.
Review 67:The pool area was crowded and not at all the wow you would expect from the rest of the hotel design. The poolside cafe was more like a football bar in Magaluf than the glitz of Vegas. We had to request the room be cleaned properly, which was disappointing.
Review 68:Good location, away from the strip but just a 20 minute walk away. Fantastic view of the strip.
Review 69:Pool area, vary basic and dreary. Dining area part of the Reception, we had the worst breakfast ever. But a lovely dinner.
Review 70:Excellent rooms and the most comfortable beds ever
Review 71:The location was both good and bad. Good if you're happy to be away from The Strip, close to the Fashion Show and shops. Not so good if you did want to go to the Strip. You can cut through the mall but it closed at 10 so you had to walk round. Not a big deal just something to note. Also while we didn't use it there was a shuttle to the Wynn or Caesars Palace. Big and comfy room and batheoom
Review 72:There was no welcome information book in the room. You could have spent three days finding out what the hotel offered. Also disapointed to get back to the hotel at midnight and find the bar closed
Review 73:The room, the view, the pool
Review 74:Disappointed with the pool bar H2 area not in keeping with the grand look of the rest of the hotel, more like a mall food court..!
Review 75:Rooms are really grand & luxurious, all the staff where fantastic and really helpful, Nice thing is it doesn't have a casino so there's not millions of people everywhere so it has a relaxing atmosphere, free shuttle service to Caesar's Palace and the airport.
Review 76:Valet parking, but that was mainly due to not having easy access and having to remember to remove anything we may need
Review 77:Loved the hotel, it was very clean, no smoking and no casino on site. Staff were amazing.
Review 78:The phone in our room wasn't working. We reported it before we went out.we came back checked with concierge and was told it was ok. Just find out the phone wasn't working. It was frustrating coz my husband was expecting business calls.
Review 79:Great hotel located away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. For a change, you don't have to walk thru a casino to get to your room.
Review 80:There were missing items that we had to ask for, that normally exist in hotel rooms - ironing board with iron, hangers (only had 4), and a booklet describing the facility, amenities, wifi info, etc . Also coffee cups were not refreshed daily.
Review 81:The room was spectacular! Roomy, clean& had lots of space.
Review 82:Did not get any acknowledgement of the fact that we celebrated our silver wedding anniversary whilst we were there ( they did know as I said on booking form & when I checked in ) a box of chocolates or a good luck card would have been all that was needed
Review 83:loved the location right next to Fashion show Mall loved the included valet parking loved the upgraded 1 bed suite loved the view from floor to ceiling windows loved the toiletries
Review 84:nothing
Review 85:This hotel really gives you the feeling of a five star hotel. The valet parking is excellent, the personnel professional and the best is that it does not have a casino. The rooms have the size of suits with a normal fridge, kitchen and coffee/tea making fascilities. So you can bring some drinks to the room without being forced to pay ridiculous amounts for the mini bar. The elevators are so extremely fast it's fun just to ride them (9 seconds for 17 floors!)
Review 86:lines everywhere for everything. to check in, to check out, to ask a second key, to talk to front desk at phone, to have your in suite dining. cleaness is not the strongest point. i had a bath and it was not cleaned the day after. gums under the bed. i had in suite dinner and the next morning all the dishes were still outside the door.
Review 87:there is no Casino, so it is quiet. this is the first reason why i chose it. bed are very cozy and i really appreciated the hydromassage bath in room. staff is helpfull and nice
Review 88:Freight train unbelievably loud at early hours woke me up several times. Coffee deadful and artificial cream in room horrendous.
Review 89:Big bathroom great view from corner suite. Food quite good at breakfast and pool.
Review 90:Toilet didn't flush properly, bathroom door jammed everyone you closed it, bathroom faucet didn't turn on at all--calls for repair x3
Review 91:Lovely pool! Beautiful room
Review 92:It was a pretty good jaunt down to Cesar's palace and shows.
Review 93:We were thrilled with the unexpected upgrade. I found it refreshing to find gluten free items on the menu. It was great not to have a smoky casino to walk through.
Review 94:The carpet in the room needed replacing badly - a massive colour difference between the worn and unworn areas - made the room feel dirty. In fact the whole hotel feels in need of a refit - lift carpet dirty and gum on carpets in reception and litter in the corners of check-in area - did not create a good first impression of the property. Toiletries sparse - only 1 bar of soap. Although the hotel runs shuttles most people seemed (like us) to walk along the road down to the strip - not a good experience as the area is under redevelopment. Not the fault of the hotel but would impact on my decision to stay again.
Review 95:The view from the room down the strip was excellent.
Review 96:I spent about 8hrs at the pool, not once did someone ask me if I wanted a drink. I went back to my room and brought down a beer from my fridge, still no one would ask if I wanted another. My wife went to the bar to buy a drink, the bartender mixed a couple of drinks right in front of her and then simply left. No greeting or taking her order. Oh, but they have two to three people handing out towels at what looks like a poolside bar. Clearly pooly managed. Great revenue oportunity destroyed by uninspired staff and nonexistant management.
Review 97:The room was great. nice view. clean resort. Nice pool.
Review 98:Housekeeping service unreliable. TV didn't have sound. King bed but sheets didn't go to end of the bed. Couldn't have breakfast because the computer system failed. Seemingly understaffed.
Review 99:Accommodation without a casino. No noise. Shuttles to Wynn and Caesars Palace casinos.
Review 100:just a couple of minor issues, checkout was not straight forward, and facilities not explained adequately in the book
Review 101:the friendly staff were very attentative upon request
Review 102:The first night we decided to try the restaurant for diner. The wait staff was very nice, however this night, we were told by the staff, The Donald stayed at the hotel (had a fund raising event the next day where a fan jumped up to the podium with a People Magazine that you might have seen) and his staff had to be fed at the same time we tried to dine. Due to the apparently unexpected pressure on the kitchen and wait staff, it took an eternity to get our order out of the kitchen. When it did come the wait problem was compounded by my wife's steak was not cooked properly and had to be sent back and when it eventually came it, again it was under cooked. Apparently the F&B staff, who were all very nice and apologetic, did not know in advance about the candidates staff showing up or they just under prepared.
Review 103:Generally the hotel, staff and particularly the room, was excellent. We did have a problem with the restaurant, however....
Review 104:The room was quite classic, we were maybe having too high expectations for that kind of hotels. Wonderful kitchen but nothing to use it, obliged to ask to have the materials, as per county law... If we obtained a very good offer in terms of price, we could not afford any of the services proposed in the hotel
Review 105:Very nice staff, patient even if we finally did not accept their service (we wanted to use the laundry service but much too expensive!). Good room, amazing bathroom! Practical shuttle service to the Strip, especially the one for Caesar Palace
Review 106:Half of the lamps in the room didn't work. Had to switch light bulbs myself.
Review 107:Nice room, lots of space, great view, regular shuttle buses to Caesar and Wynn, better value for money that 5-star hotels on the Strip.
Review 108:the shower has a low pressure, for the level of this hotel could have more pressure.
Review 109:The staff was very helpful, room was excellent with a large space to relax.
Review 110:Non gaming hotel, so no smoking anywhere on the property. Nice rooms, great strip view. Nice location and great staff from the maids to the check-in staff, they were always smiling and extremely helpful.
Review 111:There was a mix up with our payment through booking.com because my credit card had been flagged for fraud the few days prior. The check in took a little longer than expected because of it so they upgraded us to a nicer room for the wait. We really appreciated that.
Review 112:Going home. Ha ha Since no casino, it would be nice if the lounge was more lively.
Review 113:Elegant, luxurious spacious room w stare of the art amenities. Very efficient & friendly valet staff No casino, so very peaceful. Smoke free and serene
Review 114:This is an elegant property that caters to your every need. The staff is exceptional as is the location. We appreciated that it is a hotel and resort without a smoky and noisy casino. This is Las Vegas at its best.
Review 115:On busy times, the organization at the Restaurant was not good, so the service was slow. The food could be better in my opinion, considering the high standards in all Vegas.
Review 116:The room was huge, almost an apartment, with a splendid Strip view. Free shuttle to other Hotels. Friendly staff.
Review 117:Upon the arrival, We upgraded our room to a room with a view on the Strip. We received a beautiful suite on the 46th floor. The view was amazing 24h a day !!!. The room was clean, stylish, with a microwave, coffee, and more. Exactly what we needed for our stay. In front of the hotel there is a shopping center where we could buy whatever we needed. Excellent and recommended.
Review 118:Polite helpful staff, cleanliness, excellent room amenities. We had a wonderful view of the Strip, the lobby always smells fantastic with all the vases of fresh flowers. No Casino is a big plus, you don't have to fight your way through the smoke to get to the elevator.
Review 119:no providing slipper and teeth brush. The location is a bit far from other big famous hotels.
Review 120:The room is spacious, providing good quality shampoo and conditioner. Staff is nice to help. We got a high floor at 59f and quiet room with good view. There is free shuttle bus to Wynn.
Review 121:We had a lot of trouble with our key cards. Had to be redone every night so we were constantly waiting for security to let us in
Review 122:Excellent large rooms and facilities! Close enough to all casinos and restaurants. They have a free shuttle to caesars and Wynn but we didn't use it just walked everywhere. Its about a 15 minute walk to caesars (would be 5 I you could actually walk in a straight line but you are made to walk thru all the malls!)
Review 123:Lack of utensils, glasses and plates in the kitchen, today there are elegant disposable utensils if the fear is the possibility of stealing them.
Review 124:Spacious room and facilities
Review 125:- Problems with the Wi-Fi, each time it was fixed by calling Hotel IT, even at 11pm, so not really a bad experience.
Review 126:- Good price through Booking. - Hotel Shuttle to Caesars Palace from 8am to midnight, it was a great help to visit the strip without using the car. - Staff is super helpful and responsive. - Room was amazing, view as well (50th floor).
Review 127:There isn't any activity/buzz, I wouldn't recommended it for young couples, while it is definitely a great hotel
Review 128:It was clean, calm and beautiful
Review 129:I wish it were closer to the strip. I also felt the prices in the restaurant and bar were quite high for the quality
Review 130:Very clean and very friendly accommodating staff
Review 131:valet parking at the hotel is mandatory, this costs you a tip for the valet guy every time you use your car (and it takes long for them to pick it up to be honest). But on the other hand: why use a car in Las Vegas if you intend to be at the strip the whole time? :-)
Review 132:Beautiful hotel, without casino (this was a big plus for us because this way you can really relax from all the strip-business). Super relaxing pool with towel service and free water. Room was spacious and clean, and the bed was awesome. Great view from the 55th floor. The bathroom was huge! We would def recommend this hotel.
Review 133:Crossing the road in front of the hotel is awkward- busy roads!
Review 134:The pool, the Free valet parking and the lack of a casino which meant no smoking in the hotel.
Review 135:Excellent hotel, great staff service and fantastic value - unlike the casino hotels everything is free - water, wi-fi, shuttle bus. Would only use this hotel next time in Vegas
