Review 1：Friendly staff. Concierge Jeff was wonderful and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. facilities within the resort were exceptional. Room comfortable and spacious.

Review 11：Location near the Beach, the views are great and the spa is very relaxing. Location near the pier with lots to do. Bike riding, Volleyball, Surfing, Sunset, shopping and lots of places to eat. Family Friendly and or/as intimate as you want it to be. GOOD TIMES!

Review 12：The only thing I regret is that we spent only one afternoon/night at the resort, so we could see and experience only a glimpse of everything. But maybe we come back for more someday ...

Review 13：we had a room on the fourth floor and standing on the balcony we had a great look over the resort (pool area) and the pacific further beyond. the large, heated pool was a treat.

Review 21：The staff of this hotel was amazing! From the minute we arrived at the resort, everyone was so friendly and accommodating. From the valet service to the person who checked us in and out. It was a wonderful experience for my husband and I and I will be staying at this hotel again!

Review 22：Our room wasn't cleaned even though I asked 2 different people about it during the day when I went to get something from the room while we were at the pool. we were out of our room from 9:30a-6:00p. When I called they acted like it was no big deal they would come clean it now but that meant we couldn't be in the room while they cleaned it. Not enough choices of places to eat for breakfast or dinner. Stayed on property next time will need to leave to eat.

Review 26：Paid for an ocean view room couldn't see the water through all the palm trees blocking every room they offered to move us too was exactly the same no view. Ended up in the room next to a couple who got married there that weekend. They partied all night all weekend super loud and hotel staff were not very helpfull quieting them down. They did discount our bill but the whole experience was pretty awfull

Review 28：The room was enormous and divine. Spotlessly clean. The bathroom was quite spacious with a separate super size soaking tub and shower. Very nice shampoo/conditioner etc....Front desk: super friendly and helpful.

Review 29：There was definitely not enough pool staff at any of the pools. I ordered my kids food and it took 2 hours for grilled cheese to come. The first waitress forgot to put in our order :-( so I had to do it twice. At this level of resort, this really shouldn't happen. They were very nice about it and ended up paying for our food.

Review 36：The staff was very friendly and warm!!! The gardens are beautiful. I like the casual ambiance. The overpass to the beach made the walks so convenient. The IPA dinner was absolutely elegant and elaborate!

Review 37：Such a great vibe and welcoming upon arrival, atmosphere, bellmen, front desk. Went to concierge after check in expecting the same great experience to continue. The lady wouldn't even look up even though it was apparent I was standing there. After she finally did, you could tell she just didn't care. No smile, warmness, I just wanted to know where to rent bikes and she acted like my question was a waste of her time. I finally changed my attitude and gave her an unsatisfied look. She knew I wasn't happy with the way I was treated because I walked away and told my husband within her ear shot that she was rude. I went back to grab a brochure, but didn't talk to her. She snapped out of her ways, all of a sudden she wanted to show me a schedule for live music (never asked or wanted this) I think she was just floundering. I took it and walked away. On the flip side, the next night, I called the concierge to make a dinner reservation at Dukes. I think his name was Paul? He was able to get the time we needed, was so friendly and followed through to make sure we were taken care of. I travel at least once a month for work and our family travels whenever possible. Usually we stay at Starwood properties or Four Seasons properties because of points, but this hotel was the location we wanted. Will definitely be back. Maybe the lady working the concierge desk would be happier in another area not assisting guests.

Review 38：Great vibe at resort you feel it upon arrival. Convenient location across from Huntington beach. Excellent boarding beach, great town and atmosphere. Hotel is an amazing resort for families, wonderful activities for kids with kids pools and slides. Nice adult areas and spa.

Review 41：Immediately after checking into the hotel, it was time to get a bite to eat so we ordered room service : Steak Sandwich, Soup & salad and a plain burger for our Golden Retriever (we were only allowed to stay on the firstfloor, presumably dedicated to families with dogs. Our first floor room with patio and 2 double Queens cost $475 per night (this presumably "upgraded room", measured 300square feet), did not include breakfast, nor room tax of (12%), nor the Valet or Resort Fees ($25/night and $30, respectively). All said and done, staying in a standard-sized room during the "off season" will set you back $600 a night, a hefty price for an inconsequential room which I would call "undersized" for the stated room capacity of four adults. This Resort is directly across the street from the Huntington Beach Beach, less than 1/2 mile from two "eyesores"that resemble remnants of a stone Quarry. Bottom Line: keep driving and Passover the Hyatt @ Huntington...

The front desk got my room change request mixed up in every which way and were quite incompetent in solving the problem. the manager who was professional solved the issues to my satis faction.

Review 45：We chose this hotel primarily for the children's pool area and beach access. Unfortunately we tried to stay away from the pool because it was filthy. Pineapple and watermelon cores constantly left on the tables and not picked up. Dirty dishes were left all over during the day and at night the campfire pit was littered with trash. There were so many people in the pool - seemed a bit unsafe. This was not a good environment for my children. We stayed at 4 other four star resorts along the coast. All others were immaculate and cheaper. It was a very expensive mistake staying here.
