Review 1：The rooms could be a little brighter and a little more cozy, but really that is not too bad.
Review 2：It has been an amazing stay. We were welcomed very warmly. Tha main house is where the owner lives, breakfast and dinner is served. We were very hungry when we got there in the afternoon because we only had breakfast, the owner took care of it right away and we were served a very delicious sandwich, although usually no meals are served during the day. You really feel like being a guest in his home with a beautiful veranda which can be entireley opened up or closed due to mosquitos. He has I think three dogs which run around in his beautiful garden. There is also a pool and a sauna available, which we however did not use. The property really is in the middle of nowhere, across a little path are the guest houses, one room is half of a house, I think there are 5 houses in total so 10 guest rooms. They are quite dark as there really is only one window. And they are not furnished with furniture but everything being somehow molded. It is very impressive as he did this all himself, it takes however some getting used to and is not as cozy right away as regular furniture. The food was very delicious, you get to choose the entrée as well as the main dish (3 course menu) for a very reasonable price. I can really only recommend to stay here if you are in the area. He was also so kind to let us know what to do around that area, although we only stayed one night. He is a very kind, calm and nice owner who knows how to make you relax and enjoy his property in the middle of nowhere (although Oudtshoorn is very close). The stars are by the way at night breathtaking.
Review 3：Did not expect to pay for a welcoming drink insisted on by the host. Not the money but the principle!!!! If we had asked for a drink then by all means charge.
