Reviews for Woodrow House Bed & Breakfast
Review 1:A sister send me flyers the night I arrived and I was not told about them. The flowers were placed on top of a piano and no one every told me that the flowers where for me. I was greeted by the keeper of the place and no mention was done of flowers. Poor parking spaces as well.
Review 2:Nice environment. Beautiful decor, friendly staff.
Review 3:we did not use the wifi.
Review 4:This B & B was surprisingly Excellent! We stayed for an over-niter on our way to Colorado and was so comfortable. Best morning breakfast I have ever seen and the staff was excellent.
Review 5:My room was next to a busy street and some of the young men at Tech like to drive big trucks with open exhaust, very loud and very hard to block out, even with the ear plugs so graciously provided.
Review 6:The owners and the staff are so welcoming, made me feel like at was at home. The breakfast and all the treats are so delicious. Simply a fabulous place to stay.
Review 7:We were moving our daughter to Tech and this was the most convenient location and had great reviews! The owners also live here so it's a great B&B atmosphere! Loved the welcome with drinks, wine, snacks and cookies available anytime. We were in The Presidents Room on the first floor and loved all the memorabilia in the room. The furnishings were all wood, authentic and beautiful. My husband especially admired the chifferobe. It was a gorgeous piece of furniture. The sheets were amazingly soft also. There was a beautiful plaque in our room personalized to welcome my family! The room was a queen bed with dual shower with amazing water pressure. The bathrobes are a nice, surprising touch. There were ear plugs available on the bedside table, but we did not need them as the street noise was minimal. The food smelled heavenly but we did not eat breakfast there as we had arranged to eat elsewhere. Everything was excellent! Really want to stay in the actual train caboose in the backyard next time! Didn't use the beautiful pool or hot tub, maybe next time! Loved the back entrance to our room with key and gate code for safe parking. We will definitely return!
Review 8:There was a little traffic noise in our room on the front of the house. It wasn't bad enough to keep me awake, though.
Review 9:I especially liked the location (across the street from TexasTech University). I was wowed by the breakfast. Fresh squeezed juice station plus every imaginable breakfast food. It kept me full till supper

The hosts were absolutely fantastic who strive to create an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you were in your own home.
