Reviews for Sea Breeze Inn
Review 1:Thought I would be in a room in a home.i was in an older motel room behind house. Quiant but expensive for accommodations. continental breakfast; thought it would be different at bed and breakfast not what I had envisioned. It was inconveniently located for my needs.
Review 2:Nothing to do with the inn. The streets in the area were difficult to navigate. If we didn't have our gps we would have gotten very lost. Food in restaurants were very pricey.
Review 3:Raiesa was such a wonderful innkeeper who catered to her clients above and beyond what was expected. She also was my nationality which was quite a surprise. A very warm and comfortable stay. Very good activities to see and participate in ,in the area.
Review 4:The plumbing definitely needs to be updated. To see our ocean view we had to climb 3 sets of stairs to the roof area. The free breakfast was awful.
Review 5:The host was very nice.
Review 6:Loved this inn for the beautiful location, clean and comfortable facilities and most of all, the lovely, generous and wonderfully sweet owner, Raisa. I look forward to going back soon!
Review 7:Sadly the bed was uncomfortable. It looked inviting with a quilt and matching pillow shams but the mattress was way too firm as the pillows were.
Review 8:The owner. She was so friendly. Always a smile and offering to make breakfast every morning. It was a good location and decorated very quaintly with quilts and wallpaper.
Review 9:The acilities were tired. The room was very small, dominated by bed, no desk facilities to write anything. The room was dark and dimly lit, making it hard to write postcards or any thing for that matter.
Review 10:The host was friendly and obliging. Close to the beach
Review 11:You should look elsewhere. Room smelled, no outlet in bathroom, old towels, etc. Didn't feel clean, more like an old camp feel. Location doesn't make up for poor quality. Would it kill you to put some money back into the place?!
Review 12:The owner of this bed and breakfast, Raeesa, is absolutely adorable. She's kind, accommodating, and genuinely interested in your experience on the Cape.
Review 13:Musty smell in room, shabby bath towels. This is more of a cut-rate motel than what I expect from a B&B. Hostess was nice but a little over-concerned that we don't track sand into her much-less-than-clean room. Pictures on web are misleading (when will "smell" samples be available on the Internet?).
Review 14:Convenient location to the beach and Main St.
Review 15:Given that it was early October and a bit cold the room was a bit too cold/clammy. The heater took care of most of it.
Review 16:Raisha - who runs the Sea Breeze - is immensely helpful and welcoming. She immediately learned our names and we had a good time comparing our European backgrounds. She was also very helpful in helping us find our way around Hyannis. The rooms were nice, good value formthe money. Breakfast was basic but good with Raisha making sure that everything was ok.
Review 17:The furnishings and building are dated, but it didn't bother us.
Review 18:Great location. Only a minute's walk to the beach. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful.
Review 19:With all that said the mattresses have to be updated. Slept on springs. We had two beds to choose from and one was small and slanted. Very uncomfortable no sleep. There was some mold we had to keep the ac fan on because of my husbands allergies. Also the electrical really needs updating. If updates were made I would highly recommend.
Review 20:Very welcoming host...helpful lovely. Immediately felt like we were Home. Love the widows walk..enjoyed watching the sunset and seeing the ocean. The floors were the old plank style.
Review 21:The sheets were threadbare, musty smell throughout house, outside grounds not maintained, wouldn't even think of taking a shower in that bathroom. Booked family room with l dbl and 2 twins when arrived it was booked and was given 2 separate rooms with 1 queen in one and dbl in other. Had to double up on sleeping arrangements and nothing was taken off the bill for this very big inconvenience. Very bad experience . Misleading advertisement on line. Should read very poor.
Review 22:There was not one thing to like about this place.
Review 23:Having experienced other B&B's, this one made us feel like visiting relatives. The ambiance was so friendly and homey, that we felt so at ease it really added to the vacation.
Review 24:small bedrooms tiny bathroom shower was very small and dark very limited breakfast options rooms were outdated
Review 25:nice innkeeper close to the beach quiet
Review 26:The room we had was very dated. The linens and towels were very old and used up. We had bees in our room everyday due to a nest that was in the door jam. The parking was limited and if you came back late from an evening out, it was hard to park. The house was old and I have no problem with that. But I do think that for the cost of the room, the owners should spend some money in the off season and update everything.
Review 27:The owner was very lovely and friendly and was very helpful with directing you to restaurants, things to do etc.
Review 28:Overpriced, as the facilities are old and not well maintained. Breakfast was sparse. Parking was limited. Room was very small with small shower stall in bathroom.
Review 29:Great location, short walk to beach. Quaint, sea shore atmosphere. Nice staff, friendly.
Review 30:- Rooms a little dated - Shower small, and towels/washcloths did not smell fresh.
Review 31:- Location - very easy walk to main street shops and restaurants, beach, ferries, Kennedy compound, etc, - Casual, unrestrained, atsmosphere. - Room was very clean and dust free. - Host (Graisa) was very kind and helpful with local info.
Review 32:My stay wasn't long enough !! :)
Review 33:It was a awesome stay. The lady who own the place is a treasure. The emplacement beside the sea and at 5 minutes from main street is perfect. The building is looking and feeling great. I was own my own for leisure and it was agreable for me. If you still need to work or communicate with internet, the wifi signal is good. If you like plastic, silicon and bling this place is not for you. You must bring your soul in this place in order to find hapiness. I highly recommend this place. I couldn't thank my host enough for the stay.

Review 100:Our Innkeeper was so welcoming and very genuine.
Review 101:Location
Review 102:The lady who runs the place is extremely nice and caring and helped us with everything from making bagels in the morning to choosing activities. She is such a sweetheart! I also love the decor of the place, very cosy with a lot of details. It's also just steps from the beach and minutes from Main Street Hyannis. Very convenient!
Review 103:Nearby there was a party which wasn't the fault of the Inn but still was unfortunate.
Review 104:Staff was excellent, was a great location and stay for the money I spent.
Review 105:The staff was VERY rude. The lady on the phone yelled at me, inturupted me, told me I was not smart and not better than her when all I did was try to ask her to explain something. I am so disappointed in this place, I regret ever booking it. Unless you like hassle and aggravation, do not go here. This was the worst experience I ever had with a hotel. The lady who apparently is the only one who works there, according to her was the most rude person I ever talked to. And I work in customer service.
Review 106:Nothing
Review 107:No toalett in the reception area so if you get there early and need to use the bathroom you will be told to go to town to a public restroom. No hairdryers in the room. Breakfast and general standard would be considered more a hostel rather than a B and B.
Review 108:Good location. Friendly host
Review 109:The house is very old. Walls are paper thin. The rooms are decorated like a throwback to the 1950's. Wallpaper is peeling and stained. The shower stall is very small and the floor is moldy. Do Not Eat the breakfast! The cereal is stale and the milk is spoiled! Her idea of fresh fruit is a banana and some apples.
Review 110:The Innkeeper, Raisa, was very friendly and helpful.
Review 111:Parking a little tight Rooms a bit small no variety for breakfast
Review 112:Friendly owner with plenty of information about local attractions, beaches, restaurants; free parking; use of refrigerator to store a few items; 2nd floor suite with two rooms, private entry and private bath; continental breakfast to eat in or outside with plenty of seating; much within walking distance and convenient to all activities.
Review 113:Raisa the land lady was an incredibly welcoming and charming person. She makes you feel at home immediately and goes out of her way to ensure that all your needs are catered for. We loved staying at the Sea Breeze Inn and would stay there again in the future.
