Review 1：Sheets were dirty and grey off white. The fire alarm went off 6 or so times. The lobby floor had towels on it from leaks or something. Faucets had corrosion. Terrible customer service. Watched an older woman get a full discount for the entire night while I paid full price. Maybe it was my tattoos and jeans? Felt discriminated against perhaps because I am not Caucasian? Regardless, I was treated terribly by the staff.

Review 2：Hotel was a throwback to the 1990's -- hasn't been updated in 20 years. Elevators down twice during my stay (6th floor). Trash in halls.

Review 12：We went to Huntington Beach because we were going to the Oktoberfest, which was across the street, so the location was ideal. But if we were going to the beach, there are better options near the shore. Overall, a nice hotel though and would stay there again.

Review 16：I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH PERSON WORKING AT FRONT DESK.I PAID FOR ROOM ON MY CREDIT CARD AND PAID CASH FOR DEPOSIT THEN WHEN IT CAME TIME TO CHECK OUT THEY KEPT MY CASH AND SAID IT WAS PUT BACK ON MY CARD,BUT I DIDNT PAY FOR THAT ON MY CARD .THEN WHEN I ENTERED THE ROOM IT WAS NOT WHAT I RESERVED ON LINE BUT I SAID NOTHING CAUSE I REALLY DIDNT THINK GUY AT FRONT DESK WOULD DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS .

Review 17：The overall cleanliness of the hotel needs improvement. The room was okay, although it smelled like cigarettes and it was a non-smoking room, but the halls, elevator and most other places of the hotel were very dirty.

Review 21：The remote was put on a music station after we had left for the day. We could not get a tv station or anything else. We called the front desk for help and they said they would send someone up, after a half hour I told them to forget it. In the morning I told the front desk our room number and to fix the remote. Upon our return, it still wasn't done. There were no directions in the room for the tv or remote.

Review 23：Great location! It was right next to the high way. Beach was 10 kilometers away by car and crosery store on the way to the beach. Staff was helpfull and nice to us.

Review 24：The wifi did not work the entire duration of the stay, and TV didn't work until i auto programmed it. The cause was TIME WARNER cable, which is notorious for terrible service. The staff barely apologized, but they were probably pelted with complaints. The walls are paper thin. The fellow in the room next to us was really really loud.

Its ridiculous that they even hold it since the room literally had nothing in it, no refrigerator or microwave, just a bed. Not worth it, even though it seems like a good,price it is not because of the so called deposit that they hold foforever!!!!

This wouldn't have been a problem if I had known before hand so I could have brought a card to pull a pretty penny out on. It took over 24 hours to get the deposit back which is a good amount of time and money to loose on vacations

Review 52：Everything else. The bed was harder than the floor and they claimed they only have one type of mattress in the hotel so there would be nothing softer than what I had. The tv barely worked, and half of the channels were either blacked out or scrambled beyond watchability. And the "stainless" steel fixtures were not stainless, but rather cheap steel coated brass that was brushed to give the appearance of stainless only it had started to corrode and leach material from the metal.

Review 57：Excellent staff . They upgraded us to a suite without us, asking as it was Valentine's day. I had a race at Huntington Beach and they had a free easy breakfast of coffee, tea, fruit and muffins. They also gave me a lot of band aids for my blisters. I'll defintely come back.
