Review 1：The noise at night in the corridor, plus when a neighbor flushes their toilet, it woke us up. The breakfast serving system, too slow & only one person to attend to all guests.
Review 2：What I didn't like was somewhat not entirely the hotel's making; the noise by the guests in the team that was part of the Unions. They made so much noise on Thursday(3rd December) night prior to their graduation on Friday. I would have expected the hotel to still have taken control of the situation. Overally it was pleasant. Thanks And Internet wasn't as fast. I think it will help if the hotel can have that at best speeds. Thanks once again
Review 3：The place is conveniently located and has a good atmosphere around it. Staff were friendly especially the restaurant staff.
Review 4：Very noisy hotel. People were talking in the passage late at night and early in the morning. No staff told them to keep it down. The wall between the rooms are very thin I could hear what the next room was watching on tv. You cannot order off the menu for breakfast as well as the breakfast buffet price definitely was not worth it. My boyfriend also had several bites on his body the next day from the bedding. For this price I have enjoyed much more comfortable and peaceful accommodation.

Review 7：There is no lift...and no ones cares to help you with your luggageupstairs to the second floor. The stairs are too much....I Think itsgood for soldiers accommodation. The hell of noise done by guests nextto our room was horrible around 4a.M...we called the reception but therewas no relief.

Review 12：to begin the day we made our booking they told us that you can pay when you get there but a day later they took the full amount from my bank account. well the one night we didn't get any sleep because the people were loud that was in the room next to us and the I complain about it but they did nothing about it the Saturday we got up and went out when we got back at 3 our room was still a mess not even the bed was made so we left and when we got back that night the bed was made but the towels was just lying on the ground in the bathroom the photos on the internet is not what you see there

Review 20：The people were noisy in the corridors and you can hear everything in your room. We were two people staying for 4 nights and each day we would get only one towel, one day we didn't get new coffee or toilet paper - maybe just make sure roomservice knows what they are doing.

Review 22：The Wi-Fi is non existent. I'll do my utmost, not to EVER stay there again. The place is noisy, and this is an understatement. The plumbing is noisy, you hear the shower running in the room next door, the toilet, people talking. The place was so noisy I did not get a wink of sleep. The ANC Youth League were having a meeting at Gallagher Estate and I suspect many of them were staying at this hotel. I am not exaggerating when I say, every hour, someone was knocking persistently on a door. If its not the plumbing and the other guests, its trucks in the parking lot. I changed rooms, and it did not help. The acoustics in this hotel leave a lot to be desired.
Review 23：The staff were excellent. Polite, courteous, helpful. The chef was fantastic and so was front desk. Really super people. The food was good. I would have liked a glass of wine, but even this was not a problem.
Review 24：The bathroom shower was full of mould and the noise from the taps are ridiculously loud. If someone showered or opened a tap in the other rooms you would think it was a thunderstorm. I did not sleep properly at all because of this.

Review 32：The breakfast was cold and staff support poor. I had to do my own toast and got burnt in the process as this is not a regular toaster. For the price it was not worth it at all. The beds were terrible soft.

I booked the room for a couple and only too find one cup in room 240, and I called reception requesting another cup and they took long to bring the second cup and there were no teaspoons in the room, so I wonder how we were suppose to turn the tea/coffee. on the reception floor, next to the steps there was also another staff lady who was just forever playing on her phone in front of guest and if she was not playing with her phone, she is just standing and starring at us with an unfriendly look. for me that need not feel comfortable. and I also sensed that there is no sense of urgency. that is unprofessional.

People standing outside my room at 1:30 am shouting in conversation. Called reception to tell them to be quiet. Happened again, I shouted at them. Happened again in the next door room, called reception to ask them to be quiet, then next door room was watching TV at 4:30 in the morning extremely loud, called reception to ask them to turn it down, nothing was done, called reception again to do something, finally something was done. Woken up at 6:30 by loud people shouting at each other thoughout the corridor outside my room once again. Terrible experience and would never recommend to anyone!!

Review 46：the first room I was given (237), the door lock was broken and could not lock, the second (236) the door could lock but was also damaged. The content of the breakfast was not bad, although for a R100 breakfast is equal to about a R30 breakfast at a Wimpy - I had to take a small plate out of the cupboard for my toast, non available on the counter and the food was warm at best.

Review 48：When I made a booking Ghallager staff by the name of Walter told me that the booking that I made was not including breakfast and he was very rude and impatient to understand that I have a proof that the booking made included the meal. He indicateted that the posted promotion had an error and I asked him who should take a reaponsibility for the error he said is booking.com I called booking.com and I was told in writing that Ghallagher is the one that posted incorrect information and that they will honor my book as advertised. Unfortunately this did not happen as I had 10 Reverents from my church who were continually embarrassed and denied food and had problems during check out.
