Review 1：The mattress was like a giant marshmallow! It was way too soft to be comfortable. Our backs hurt so bad. The hot tub smelled awful! Maybe it needs to be drained and scrubbed and refilled. On Friday and Saturday night, there were people out in the Atrium being loud all night long... we thought it closed at 9...?
Review 2：We liked the location and the people were very nice. The breakfast was good. The kids enjoyed getting to swim indoors during the winter! The rooms were very clean and housekeeping was there early every day.
Review 3：First room they gave me had a broken heat unit so room was near freezing. On second try the key card would not work on the outer door and had to walk around building to get in main door. Furniture was ratty tho the bed was comfortable and clean

Review 5：The bathroom door and knob were coming off. I found a halloween plate on a top shelf covered in dust. There was something gritty on the bed sheets like sand (I hope). The parking lot was torn up and dirty. The outside had hanging coax cables, littered with cigarette butts, and was just overall dirty.

Review 13：First room I received had a bad odor, the room was dirty and the air conditioner didn't work. Second room they put me in a suite, which was bigger and the air conditioner worked but the toilets did not flush well and there was a lot of hair in the Jacuzzi tub. I also saw flies all over the boiled eggs during breakfast. Yuck!

Review 15：I'm a person that will very be ok if there is one or two things that are wrong but this is a terrible place. I was there during raining season and the place was leaking everywhere. The food is really bad and old. Our room was supposed to be a non smoking, the place smelled like tabbacco so much. Oh and at night the insulation is so bad we were freezing. Do not recommend it, not worth the money you pay.
Review 16：Overall great experience. Check in was smooth & fast. Breakfast was delicious. All staff members were friendly. Room was clean, bed was comfy, shower had great water pressure and had hot water. However, I do wish staff(parents) would be more strict about noise policy. Kids were running up and down the halls yelling & screaming, beating on doors, walls, & vending machines and even setting off the fire alarm as late as 10 pm and we also heard what sounded like drunk people causing commotion even later than that. I would stay here again.

Review 22：I come into midland once a week for work.. I usually stay at la Quinta when it comes to travel but the midland location, after several stays,failed to met expectations.. Decided to give this hotel a try this go around.. Front desk is friendly. Get a lot of bang for your buck.. The head of maintence, Bobby, is a great employee.. Room was clean and well mainted and definitely will be booking all future stays in midland at this hotel.. Has truck parking and plenty of room to maneuver around
Review 23：The rooms were nice;however, it could have been a bit cleaner. It appeared as if it was a pick up rather than a clean scrub. Cleaning staff talked outside in the halls a lot so it woke me up several times in the morning. Although they were very friendly and helpful.
Review 24：I enjoyed the amenities such as the pool, water slide, golf, and gym. Breakfast was great and the Hispanic man who was working the breakfast area was very friendly! Location was convenient but at times it seemed there were looters. There was a lady in the front having a mental breakdown, throwing her phone several times and it almost hit me as I was walking to my car ..:talking to herself...and asking for things. It made me feel unsafe as a young solo traveler.

Review 29：This is a "remodeled" Holiday Inn "Holidome" from the mid-70s. Despite the claims of being remodeled, it's dated and still has a ran-down appearance and out dated atmosphere. Certainly not the nicest or cleanest place in town. I'd look elsewhere unless you just need to save a few bucks by staying here.

Review 31：There were a couple of maintenance items I reported: The shower/tub spigot wasn't connected to anything and when you pulled on the diverter knob for the shower it almost came off. And there was a weird light that was coming from behind it; hope there wasn't some electrical issue there that might be a safety issue ?? I have never slept in a bed that was softer than the pillow. Extreme soft! Maybe some people like that, I didn't particularly. There was a desk in the room, which was good, but no chair. I had to go get one.

Although MOST of the Interior rooms were vacant I was put out back with all the Construction men.However when I asked for an interior room I was told none were available... Maybe you should close the curtains on the vacant rooms before you tell someone that. Seeing me come and go alone I guess it was obvious I was not traveling with a companion the 2nd night of my stay they knocked on the room door to invite me out to the parking lot to have a beer... I was very uncomfortable and was worried about my safety, you could tell the room I was staying in had previously been broken into. I would not recommend this to a woman traveling alone

Review 43：The room had not been cleaned properly there was a lot of dust on the furniture and not enough pillows for the bed. The staff was not friendly at all, the only person that was nice was the man at the check in counter. My check in time was at 3 but when I booked the hotel it asked me at what time would I be checking in and I said 12 so I got there at 12 and he was very nice and explained to me check in was not till 3 but he kindly gave me a room which I was very grateful after a 4 and a half hour drive.

Our restroom was way too big you could fit a twin bed in there and the room was too small. But as we walked around you could clearly see other rooms were a better size. Review 65：My husband has now been there 8 nights for his work, and has never been able to get in the hot tub because of it being full of kids playing. We know kids will be kids we raised 9 but they do need to be taught indoor voices because there are working people staying there that have to get up at 4 AM and when he cannot hear his TV over kids needless to say going to sleep is out of the question. We understand that the pool is there for kids but it would be nice for the adults to be able to sit and relax in the hot tub after a long day at work instead of it being a kiddy pool. It would be an even nicer place if management made it a more accommodating place for all and not just the kids.
Review 66：Lets start with the good, the room has been good, clean and it is nice to have a restaurant and lounge on the property. He chose to stay here because convenient to his work and in the past in was a great place.
Review 67：I had to call manager because of staff blowing me off. He was no different in offering help. Totally disregarded my complaint as a lie. He acted as if it was to cost him out of his pocket. Lame and small minded. Can't see the big picture. Now who do you think I will tell of my horrible experience there?

I took over 30 pictures of bugs in different locations (including the roach sharing my pillow) and was pretty upset I couldn't get a refund. I had to leave one of the lamps on the far side of the room on in hopes it would keep the bugs near it, instead of on me..

Review 94：We woke up with back aches both nights and it wasn't pleasant spending our anniversary in pain had we not been charged for cancellation we would have stayed at another hotel that would have been worth our $300 needless to say when it was addressed at check out no discount was offered or another stay at no cost in a more comfortable bed as if they did not care of our concerns just our money! Disappointed to the extent of discouragement for future stays :( and I come every two weeks now so with that said I do believe they have lost us as customers my husband is looking for another hotel for future stays:( wish they would change their beds since their rooms are nice. Oh and the pillows are hard as well !!!!

Review 98：4/5 lamps were not plugged in, in fact there weren't outlets for them. The cords were tucked under furniture to hide lack of functionality. Each room's entrance faces inward to the main building, so I was woken up in the middle of the night with someone or several people banging on my bedroom window, and then kicking at the entrance door to my room. It's also extremely humid, so if you or any of your travel-mates have respiratory issues, avoid this place.

It was about 5 miles away andthe cab company had no cabs available. I first asked the desk clerk andshe said no as well as the manager I even offered to pay. I ended uphaving to change my flight.

Review 111：This place is dated. Their advertised rate is $169! But booking.com had it for $119. I still feel like I way overpaid. This place is like a work camp. Old, dirty, and worn out. The beds are like lumpy sacks. There was a coke can on the floor of my room when I checked in. The toilet seat was a replacement that didn't come close to fitting the bowl which led to some interesting seat time. There are no restaurants within 2 miles, so you're either driving for food or eating at the in-house Indian/Italian snack bar. The weird indoor pool area is a renovation I'm guessing. It looks like a convention center with a drop ceiling. It's not a terrible place, but it should be priced around 40-60 dollars a night. It's old and dirty.
