Reviews for Encore at Wynn Las Vegas

Review 1:The receptionist was annoying, kept talking and asking questions about our trip though we were very tired and obviously didn't want to talk. No breakfast. Buffet is very expensive. The internet is NOT free and it's AUTOMATICALLY charged on your account for 2 devices. No fridge to put your drinks in - the one in the room charges you for every bottle you take out of it for more than 30 seconds. You have to order another fridge for EXTRA money. Sell phone doesn't work in the room. No microwave. Altogether, for the price they charge there is no way to charge EXTRA for wi-fi, fridge, breakfast. And do something about the cell phone perception! Disliked and not coming back for sure!

Review 2:Location - Strip (though the very end of it). Loving the design - it's far much more modern than most of the other hotels on Strip. Huge parking. Glass wall overviewing the Strip. Huge bathroom with 2 sinks, a bath, a shower cabin and a separate toilet room. "Smart house" system.

Review 3:I travel the world and stay at the best hotels and I just love the Encore and Wynn properties. It is one of the best places to stay in the entire world.

Review 4:Well there are alot of hidden expenses not clearly mentioned here. Forced to pay for unreasonably priced WIFI. Anytime you order room service there is a $15 just because you ordered room service. You can't fill the fridge with your needs, but these are all just minor things that won't get in the way of your Vegas experience.

Review 5:You really don't need to leave the hotel, it is so much fun. Super clean, awesome rooms, very spacious, great staff, great everything really.

Review 6:They charge me everything like hot water and kettle. Usualy most common hotel they provide the kettle in the room for free and there's no coffee in the room too. Other than that is good.

Review 7:Smoking and ashtrays in the lobby made the whole hotel smell compared to others. Be prepared for night club noise if your room is above the pool area.

Review 8:Smart modern hotel with easy Strip access. VIP treatment for everyone.

Review 9:A wonderful hotel with great staff and a notably higher end feel than pretty much any other hotel on the strip. Any issues we had were addressed promptly and reasonably.

Review 10:Crumbs on the sofa.

Review 11:Booked the Encore for my Vegas wedding and they upgraded all our rooms for free upon checking-in! Thanks Alex! Couldn't have asked for a better overall experience! Friendly staff at every turn, clean and well-lit casino with yummy food. Rooms were simply amazing with really comfortable beds! Location at the northern end of the strip means no need to deal with the ridiculous traffic jamming up the heart of the strip. Concierge is also super helpful and got us five very good tickets to Absinthe at the last minute! XS nightclub was cool too!

Review 12:On the night of check-in we couldn't locate the registration desk. We had entered the hotel on the opposite entrance. My husband started to ask an employee to direct us toward the desk and the man just ignored him, walking right past us. My husband had to literally step in front of the man and say excuse me, just to get his attention.

Review 13:The view from our room was amazing. To wake up over the city of Las Vegas with the mountains surrounding us was so beautiful.

Review 14:You can check your bill on your account in your room. Every time we looked at it, it was always different, even within 5 minutes. One minute it was $800 5 minutes later it was $150 and so on. Also, after spending thousands of dollars in the hotel, they made me pay $4 for 4 slices of tomato with my breakfast!!!!!!

Review 15:Amazing facilities, very comfortable bed, amazing view, great location.

Review 16:loved everything

Review 17:everything a truly wonderfull place to stay best hotel i ever stay in vegas and i been going to very since 1967, just the best of the best , had evrything!

Review 18:Food other than at the expensive restaurants and the fact that the room was really bare of any water, coffee or tea to make the guest's stay comfortable

Review 19:The very classy and beautiful interior

Review 20:No "bad"experience. The location is unfortunate for exploring other hotels on the strip. Much thought and expense with light dimmers throughout room EXCEPT in the bathroom!!!! Options are "nightlight" or kleiglights!! Gorgeous Bathroom-with an intense romantic potential- is too dark or too bright. Bathtub drenched in a light intensity more suited to a laboratory or execution chamber!! Curious!??!!. Options for different levels of dining/eating dosen't compare to less unfortunate VENETIAN/PALAZZO.

Review 21:My room...2636 was awesome. Extremely clean...Quiet..Comfortable..well priced.Hi Tech...World class.

Review 22:Not as clean as it should be, limited hours in the gym.

Review 23:Amazing views from 56 floor, nice suite, good staff. Great idea of putting a vegan and vegetarian menu in every one of the restaurants, even the awarded Michelin star Wing Lei.

Review 24:Don't inform you if facilities are going to be closed during your stay. As in the POOL!!! Surely this is why you pay a resort fee!!

Review 25:Very grand hotel.

Review 26:Our first room was poolside and high up, this meant that Saturday night, club night there was music blaring. I couldn't sleep at all. To be fair I complained and was moved to a vey quiet room the next night with compensation. But check where your room is before booking if you don't want to party yourself.

Review 27:Staff were very attentive and helped as much as they could. Beautiful rooms and views. Luxury.

Review 28:A couple of experiences in restaurant and checkout is 12 but we were being room knocked every half hr from 9:30 meaning our long last day was cut short and ruined .

Review 29:Loved the atmosphere and the facilities, but above all LOVED the room/suite

Review 30:The location is at the end of the strip. It's nicer to be closer to the center

Review 31:It's guests are upper class and the noise is way less than the other hotels

Review 32:I didn't know about the $150 daily fee (you receive it the day after you check out) nor the $29 resort fee (you do not get this back) charges ahead of time. Also, I didn't like the large amount of pick pocketing that went on in XS.

Review 33:I liked how the hotel was able to put my friends and I all on the same floor. Also, the huevos rancheros at Society is amazing! Great and friendly staff as well. Plus, you have to see Skrillex at XS.

Review 34:Inquiring about the clubs at the Wynn and Encore, rude staff at the front.

Review 35:I booked the room for my boyfriend's birthday, a quick get away. I was not happy when we tried to reserve to attend the clubs there, they didn't care if we are staying there or not, very rude.

Review 36:If you pay full price it is quite expensive. The location on the beginning of the strip is not ideal (you have to walk for quite some time). The staff on the front desk fools you by offering a room on the 60th floor, while there are no floors from 40-49. So in fact you do not have a 60th floor... but you do pay for it !! :-) Another negative thing: in your room you have a fridge filled with stuff (no prices indicated) with a sensor: if you take it for 60 seconds it is charged to your bill. You cannot use the fridge for personal things, they charge you a fee if you do. But overall: very good hotel !!

Review 37:The hotel is very fancy, the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The swimming pool is very nice, the drinks and food you can order here are truelly delicious.

Review 38:The was only thing that we weren't happy with. We had a don't disturb and let the staff cleaning to not to clean room. We had credit cards out, personal property in plain sight, they still cleaned the room anyways. They moved our clothes to fix bed.

Review 39:We loved the hotel and location. Very beautiful, romantic and elegant designs. The food in the hotel great too. The location of the hotel was perfect to find restaurant, shops, other hotels. I would go and stay their again.

Review 40:No public seating, definitely required for size of complex and around Check in area especially for elder persons. Being charged $25.00 for a refrigerator to store medicine after being advised that it would be no cost

Review 41:Excellent room. Good show 'The Dream'. The Venetian decor lights and friendly staff

Review 42:Due to the amount of visitors in Las Vegas this hotel is starting to get a little beat up. It is inevitable, but hopefully the management will use a portion of the staggering amount of money they're probably making to rejuvenate them a little.

Review 43:The location and parking options are great. The casinos and hotels are top notch. Very nice.

Review 44:Nothing.

Review 45:Everything!! Amazing hotel, fantastic staff. The rooms are so comfortable and cater for your every needs. True luxury. Worth the money if you are planning on treating yourselves. The access to the Wynn is like you getting a bonus hotel too.

Review 46:the view from the room is terrible as the hotel is located away from the strip. the rooms were dusty and not well cleaned

Review 47:Fancy hotel, many activities and good vibes

Review 48:Not a single bad thing to mention.

Review 49:This hotel was perfect. Staff were always helpful, every spot was clean and the hotel itself was beautifully designed.

Review 50:The walls are poorly isolated. We could hear everything in the next rooms and the loud music from the beach club on the street !!

Review 51:It looks nice and the staff is super friendly

Review 52:We had to pay for wifi if we wanted it on more than 2 devices. Most people these days have more than that so we were a little disappointed

Review 53:We loved our room and the overall vibe of the hotel. All of the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome

Review 54:Housekeeping was very hit and miss in achieving an acceptable standard.

Review 55:General decor and comfort of room, along with pool areas. Rewards system for red card gambling. Management service recovery after several disappointing housekeeping issues.

Review 56:Nothing

Review 57:Excellent and well equiped room, varied dining options, all the facilities expected of a Vegas hotel delivered with a big touch of class. We loved it and we highly recommend.

Review 58:Slightly long ques to check in/check out

Review 59:Defiantly the best Hotel on the strip compared to others I have visited, great large rooms, food, bars, staff, facility's, casino and the views on high floors over Vegas are superb. there was a small incident on our floor with another hotel guest who had a small weapon and upon complaint he was removed from the hotel quickly by the staff. Upon request we were moved to another room for our last night with an even better view on the strip which was great. Overall a fantastic 5 days in Sin city.

Review 60:nothing really except the price (quite high compared to the rest of Vegas properties). Also no special discounts to nightclubs in the hotel for residents

Review 61:the resort facilities (pool, gym, casino), room, restaurants...

Review 62:The location in the end of the strip but wont hurt walking

Review 63:Amazing staff Amazing decor Luxury rooms Fantastic show (la reve) Very clean house keeping

Review 64:It was an amazing hotel, out of the hustle and bustle of main strip. Newest hotel so clean and very very friendly staff. I would definitely recommend staying here and i cant wait to book with encore for next year! Superb

Review 65:The down side is the resort fee that you have to pay on top of your nightly stay fees. Its meant to give you access to the gym, wifi and something else. Well we didn't want to got the gym but the wifi was rubbish. Really bad.

Review 66:The Encore at Wynne is classy, has a fresh feeling. The decor is sensational and the restaurants are great. We spent three days by the pool, which was lovely. Apart from being at the end of the strip it was still the best hotel I thought on the hotel strip.

Review 67:Noise level of beach club all night long made it impossible to sleep. We were on the 26th floor and it sounded like the bass was outside the window

Review 68:Beautiful hotel, comfy beds

Review 69:The housekeeping wasn't great - we asked for the bed linen to be changed twice and they confirmed it would be but it never was. Also the in-room dining charges were very high.

Review 70:The bedroom was lovely and very comfortable.

Review 71:Additional fees for nearly everything like wifi, fitnessroom, pool, sauna and the entrance for clubs in the hotel. Sometimes quite noisy due to the clubs just next to the hotel (music, bass)

Review 72:Location. The view of the room. The panoramic suite itself. Very nice brunch but for nearly 30 bugs.

Review 73:We waited 35 minutes to check in! I was the worst check in I have experienced ( I am 55 years old and travel a lot). We get a sincere apology from the desk person but this is not acceptable from this type of hotel.

Review 74:The rooms are very nice, and the pool area was very enjoyable.

Review 75:Resort tax $29 per night to cover the gym etc surely with the pricesthey charge this should be included. There are obviously food andbeverages to be purchased in the rooms but if you pick up, look and readabout any of the food items after 60 seconds you will be billed forthem. Ridiculous and stupid

Review 76:The hotel, casino floor and pools are wonderful. They'll try toupgrade you to a panoramic suite (If staying in suite resort room $35extra per night) it was a treat so I was happy to pay it and out roomwas wonderful on the 56th floor and great view, but the rooms arewonderful so it's not necessary.

Review 77:The bathroom needs a deep clean, dusty in some places. The shower unit was a bit dodgy and was reported to front desk but not fixed in the 2 days were there.

Review 78:Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Review 79:Closing the pool at 7pm. That is really the only place that you can sit outside other than the lake area. I suggest that if you find it necessary to close the pool, then just rope off the pool and allow seating around it in the evening.

Review 80:Ease of check in, comfort of the room and quality restaurants that required proper dress (long pants)

Review 81:View at strip not spectaculair as Wynn is in front of hotel. Wynn more Beautiful decorated than Encore.breception busy when checkin. Located at the end of the strip.

Review 82:Room. Bathroom.

Review 83:pricey. "wynn" hotel is closer to the strip, as luxury as the encore and was cheaper. didn't get the high floor as i requested.

Review 84:luxury hotel, the best bed i ever slept in.

Review 85:You should never have to pay for wifi...just stop it it's ridiculous to pay $10+ per day. And it's slow at that. It's 2015 not 1995...

Review 86:Very nice hotel

Review 87:For such a great hotel Wifi should be free and everywhere

Review 88:Fantastic hotel! Everything is hi end! Very good evening show The Stoppers, great restaurants with vegan options in all of them

Review 89:Bad service and staff, no housekeeping without a tip, cleaning lady placed our pillows on floor for not tipping, staff are rude and slow, no one cares if you complain, no compensation, no sorry letters, no nothing. To use the fridge you have to pay extra, no free water like other 5 star hotels in LV.

Review 90:Beautiful design and décor, this place looks amazing, upscale and modern. but wont come back again. You spend your hard earned money on 5 star hotels for the service, and this hotel did not have good service. Palazzo/Bellagio is way better.

Review 91:The free wifi was working only at rhe lobby.

Review 92:Amazing room! Amazing service! The best hotel on the strip ! Everything was amazing, You will not regret. I already miss this hotel !! In onwpe word ; Wow

Review 93:When we arrived ,each room (we had booked two) had 29$ plus tax for internet a day, 30$ and 50$ plus tax of upgrade to be connecting. We had to wait 3 hours 6 in one room because, with all those upgrades, the secon room was not ready. When we pointed out this, the only thing the check in desk manager proposed was,if wanted to leave the hotel the day after, a late check out ! ( our reservation was a long one,one week for two rooms..!). Internet, by the way, even if we paid the 29 plus tax x room x day, never worked properly. It was constantly diconnecting. Tv had the same problem: often disconnecting.

Review 94:bedding

Review 95:The price is on the high side. Refrigerator available in the room but full of hotel's beverages and no space for one to put anything else. No tea or coffee machine in the rooms.

Review 96:The staff are professional and helpful. The location is very good. Wifi is excellent.

Review 97:Total lack of flexibility in not refunding for our stay despite one family member being unable to travel

Review 98:Nothing - we were unable to travel owing to family accident.

Review 99:Front desk had no Internet access and could not provide any information about other activities in Vegas. The staff did not propose any entertainment or attraction at Wynn or at other places in Vegas. The least would have been to provide us with the free booklet "Vegas 2 go" and indicate the highlights.

Review 100:Location, hotel facilities, modernity "Le Rêve" show was simply amazing!!

Review 101:i was surprised the food choices were not a step or two better...but they were adequate

Review 102:great corner rooms, awesome front desk staff-the greeters being friendly goes a long way

Review 103:Upselling to get commission with wrong information. And a "sorry, this was a misunderstanding" when it came to "this is not what we were told when we purchased". Examples: room upgrade, pool usage, breakfast, concierge handling

Review 104:Location

Review 105:Free wi-fi only provide for 2 devices, extra need to pay $15/day, usually everyone with cell phone & I pad, if 2 people per room at least go for 3 to 4 would be good. Cause other hotels unlimited wi-fi in room.

Review 106:The club that stays open until 4:00 a.m. from Friday through Monday produces a ridiculous amount of noise, echoing up to the upper floors. I'd rather not have a view than listen to that all night; they should have told us about it.

Review 107:Probably the nicest room I've stayed in on the strip

Review 108:Only my first breakfast ! It was a continental one, and the Lady who spoke to me , sepárete the things , and my first small breakfast in the Room was double !

Review 109:The most !!!! The CASINO AND THE BED

Review 110:Bad service, they couldnt find our booking even though i showed them on booking.com and showed them the email confirmation. Also when i want to check out we called 3 times to bring our luggage no1 came until they made us late to the airport , worst service ever, also very late check in since they had to manually book us

Review 111:nothing its so much worse than other hotels in vegas

Review 112:It's one girl in the bar with a really bad actitud she's serving inside the bar

Review 113:We just love to stay there And for shure will be back there again Thank you for ur hospitality

Review 114:Very pricey wifi - why isn't it free? Long queues to check in & out - really bad Decor - Not even free water - lots of hidden costs

Review 115:Bed was very comfortable as was the room. Location was great.

Review 116:-A bit far from the strip, Wynn is better located -Better dining options in Wynn also, so we had to walk quite a bit between the 2 hotels

Review 117:-Beautifully decorated and great spacious rooms -Food was really good -Amazing gym, spa and pool area

Review 118:The room was really clean, but the sofa could have used a quick vacuuming.

Review 119:Very nice hotel room with a decent view. Room and bathroom very clean. We were able to check in early.

Review 120:checkin very lengthy.Food venues expensive for value. Sends hotel boarders to outside restaurants.

Review 121:due to heat outside air-conditioning was tops. Fairly accommodating after lengthy time of checkin.

Review 122:the bed was to soft, and the pillows offered no neck support, so made for uncomfortable sleep

Review 123:the rooms were so tidy, user friendly and the service so lovely

Review 124:Slightly on the edge of the real "Strip", somewhat longer walk to the rest of it.

Review 125:Well kept and in great shape. Wonderful views and on-site amenities.

Review 126:Rude front desk. Tried to up sell to a higher floor so I took the bait. I asked for late check out due to late meeting and was told I need to pay another $75 for that.

Review 127:Bell Captain staff was nice.

Review 128:The staff at the concierge desk could have been a little friendlier and less robotic.

Review 129:The room was clean and beautifully decorated and created to make the guest feel pampered.

Review 130:The resort fee, and taxes on that fee, are a huge rip off. If youdon't use the internet or make local calls, it's just a way tocharge another 30 bucks for the room. The prices at the spa wereoutrageous. Signage between the two towers is terrible. I was at theWynn heading back to the Encore, and found myself outside on the stripat 3:00am. Walked passed some very strange people at that hour. Finallyfound my way back in.

Review 131:Slots in the casino were fun and did pay out a little. Breakfast buffetwas one of the best we've had.

Review 132:The fact that the resort fee is not indicated or included in the rate paid on booking.com

Review 133:Great facilities and i love the fact its not so crowded like all the other hotels in Las Vegas

Review 134:The hallways to get from the elevators to your room were not clean. Leftovers froom room service orders stayed on the floor foor several days in the hallways. That is unacceptable.

Review 135:Location on the strip. Parking facilitys. Comfort in the rooms. Room size. Room views!

Review 136:Noise from the nightclub, we upgraded for a "panoramaic view", but ended up of a view north, rather than of the strip, which is mainly building sites. Not great. We were told if we moved to a strip room, we would hear noise from the nightclub, Not what I expect from a 5 star hotel.

Review 137:Rooms were nice, beds comfy, lots of options in the hotel for food.

Review 138:Very hard to get a good coffee in the morning in Encore, long queue, paper cups and no table service... Not a good experience for something so simple. At $30 for four large drinks, you would expect a little more!

Review 139:Beds are so comfortable, the hotel is immaculately clean, the staff are attentive and professional. It isnt all about the casino here, it is fun but classy. Love it.

Review 140:Our first room in the Tower suite was overlooking the strip and pool but the noise coming from the night club was too much to take and we requested a move to the other facing rooms. Massive design fault in my opinion. Also there were $500 of extras charges on the bill which were taken off but lucky i checked.

Review 141:The restaurants were are fab plus the room was very nice.

Review 142:Resort fees are a scam (although all of the hotels on the strip now do this) and there is no workable fridge as they pack it with their unhealthy junk and charge you an arm and a leg for it.

Review 143:I've stayed at a few hotels on the strip over the years and this one tops them all. A bit pricey but it's worth it. The King deluxe room is fantastic and has a floor to ceiling window with a view to die for. Plus the room and bathroom are massive. Highly recommended!

Review 144:The pizza i ordered from room service was uneatable. Not the way it was cooked, just the taste was awful. Also caesar salad they put way too much dressing Everything else was amazing

Review 145:Almost everything
