Review 1：We gave our clothes for laundry, they came back and smelled like manure(I asked them to be line dried so I guess my fault).

Also suitable for travellers without children as the spaces accommodate privacy and need for quiet reads. It's an ideal setting for tired travelers in the heat; well worth the minor detour from R62.

Review 7：Wonderful experience to discover this georgous farm among a nowhere landscape, kingdom of ostriches. Very spacious suite, very delightful breakfast, every person was carefulness with us. Go an discover the marvellous mountainscape and the trails near the guest house. It will be a real pleasure.

Review 8：It's really a great outdoors experience in an ostrich farm which only enriches the experience. The owners were very marvellous and very hospitable people too. They must look into improving their WiFi connectivity.

Our front porch was dirty, cluttered (was being used for storage) and the facilities for bbq had not been cleaned since its last use. The porch was cleaned fairly soon after we arrived though it was awkward having workmen there when we had already checked in.

Review 16：An impressive ostrich farm in the Little Karoo near the Swartberg mountains. We had our own beautiful small chalet with a clean bedroom, lounge and bathroom. It was nice and warm during the cold nights. During hot day-time we could sit outside on the veranda overlooking the ostriches and the Swartberg mountains. How special and relaxing! We were warmly welcomed after our late arrival and were immediately served a delicious braai dinner. The breakfast the next morning was lovely. The hosts and the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Review 17：The kid's chicken nugget meal at supper was really disappointing. At R65 guests should rightfully expect real breast fillet meat, properly crumbed (as opposed to the processed meat, microwave heated that we got).

The setting on a farm was beautiful and so relaxed and perfectly located for a visit to Highgate Ostrich farm a couple of minutes away. Probably the best accommodation of out 2 week holiday.

Review 61：It would help if the website included directions for how to drive to De Deene. It's not the easiest place to find if you're unfamiliar with the area.

Review 62：The setting, in the centre of a huge ostrich farm, is breathtaking. My room was in the original farmhouse built over a hundred years ago, and it even featured a chandelier! It couldn't have been nicer.

It was a bit of a battle at checkout to get the staff to acknowledge we had not been given the room we booked but they did eventually offer a discount. We had dinner at the guesthouse which was poor . Had to chose the meat for the entree in advance, no choice of starter or dessert ( canned fruit cocktail and ice cream)

De Denne Guest House must be the first place that EXCEEDED my initial expectations: from the incredibly welcoming and efficient staff, the wonderfully comfortable and spacious room, the idyllic setting and perfectly-placed pool ... all came together to create a true piece of paradise, where one can totally relax from all the years stresses!

We have a fantastic dinner in our veranda prepared by the house with excellent wine. The following day a tour around the farm, one of the best things in our trip.
