Review 1：We were on the third floor with no elevator. The room smelled of mold and cigarettes. We seriously slept with the lights on. Very dirty, you don't want to walk on the floor. We had somewhere to be or I would have looked for another room elsewhere.

Review 5：Staircase was really dirty with cigarette butts and tissues. Lamps in room did not work properly. Only one of the power outlets worked. We were only given one small towel. After reporting to the front desk later that day, towels were replaced. Guess what? We got one new small towel. Remote control did not work. Bathtub was very old and run down as everything else in the room. The fridge was kept from falling over with a rock. They give you only wifi passwords that work for one device for 24h so be sure to get a few of them.

My feet in 5 minutes black, I believe I stained 3 wash clothes cleaning feet, also ruined 2 pairs of socks. The faucet leaked at base, so needed to keep a wash cloth or by a.m. their was puddle on floor. So for the$I paid(they said discount for winter$67.00 PER nite$420.00 for week, I believe I paid for location only, regular price $110 00.

Looked behind it filthy.got impression they are out for money. At the end of hallway were porches. Again, filthy, and we saw a cigarette smoldering on a couch there.,fire hazard.room smelled strongly of cleaning solution. Probably originally smoke filled, now for non smokers.

Review 27：The check-in process is a little bizarre, there is not very adequate signage to let a customer know how to contact the receptionist, as every time I passed the small check in room, there was never a live person present. Smoking is allowed at this hotel, and there are 2 balconies on each end of the 2nd floor, where I was staying. The doors are left propped open and smoke smell spreads through the whole hallway and into hotel rooms if you leave your door open for any amount of time while someone is actively smoking.

Review 29：We went down to the front desk at 8 am to get more towels. We were told we couldn't have any towels under 9 am when the maid arrived, as no one else knew where they were. The ice machine doesn't work when you put money in; you have to unplug and replug for the ice to dispense. It was also very moist in the rooms. We had the air on, but all woke up feeling wet/humid.
Review 30：The staff was accomodating for booking related issues. I called the day of my reservation and asked to switch to two queen beds, which didn't seem to be a problem. I was a little nervous because she didn't take the upgraded payment from me and I wondered what would happen when I arrived... luckily I didn't experience an issue. The rooms were dated, but clean.

Review 35：I arrived and had to wait 15 minutes for an unkept man, who had obviously just been roused from sleep, to stumble down the stairs to the glassed in "front desk". I then had to argue about my reservation and the fact that I had received an emailed confirmation from booking.com of my reservation with said man for an additional 15 minutes. He finally discovered my reservation (a piece of paper that had been right in front of him) but said it had been cancelled because my "credit card had been declined". I told him that his hotel was a "Pay when you stay" property on booking.com and that I was supposed to pay when I arrived, so my card should never have been run in the first place. This argument and his not understanding/denial that I wasn't supposed to pay for the room until I arrived took another 10 minutes until he finally huffed and said "fine!" that he'd give me a room and the charge would be $65 plus 13% tax. I explained that no, I was supposed to pay $55+ tax per the confirmation, this included my discount, for a total of $62 and change. He began to argue with me again but I decided that I didn't want to stay at a property whose owners will not honor what booking.com offers to their frequent users and who chooses to argue with a guest rather than calmly listening and understanding what a guest is saying...or a property owner who doesn't even understand what policies or programs they offer! The man has no manners, no idea what a 24 hr front desk means, is completely uneducated in the meaning of customer service or how to follow through with offers given online. Save yourself a lot of headaches and stay somewhere else!!

Review 39：Despite how wonderfully clean the place was, it is still pretty well-worn and run down. The hallways have scuff marks all over, the bathtub is stained (not dirty, but stained), the shower curtain is ripped. It took a day or two to feel comfortable. But knowing that it was clean made that all tolerable.
Review 40：The cleaning staff is amazing. I'm fussy about cleanliness - I always wipe down my hotel rooms with Clorox wipes (I know, I know) and there wasn't a speck of dirt. Even the top of the bureau and the picture frames. Spotless! The housekeeping staff should win an award!
Review 41：There werent any vending machines on the property and i would have liked an ice nachine on the 3rd floor since there wasnt an elevator accessible. The stairs are a bit much just to get ice. But it wasnt bad. I would stay again even though.
Review 42：They didnt allow pets but after i booked i found that info out so they allowed ne to bring my dog for an additional $20. Which was fine with me. They could have said no but they didnt. I was very happy.

Review 60："Pacific View" is a misnomer. Non-existent. Seemed like a short stay place on a busy thoroughfare. Open hallways, dirty stairwell. Didn't want anything to touch the carpet. In need of a major upgrade.

I also feel that better security measures should be considered anyone could walk into the motel from the street and in the upper levels. A suggestion would be to add a door locking system that can only be accessed by your room key to each entrance to the floors

We stayed on the top floor with no elevator and a cheep plastic sign was tacked to the wall that said "no smoking." Manager called us to check out 5 minutes before check out, but he had the only exit painted and we had to wait in the parking lot until it dried. Never stay here again.

We had five people in our room but they refused to give more than three towels advised we could share. Made a mistake and thought it was "Pacific Inn" instead of Pacific View. Pacific Inn is very nice. Pacific View I would never stay again.

Review 82：The fire alarm was missing the battery. I was afraid to walk around without shoes on. I went to take a shower and the shower head wasn't on properly and even after trying to fix it it sprayed water all over the place.

The parking lot is very small and the only spot open was unavailable due to a truck failing to only take up one spot. There was only a "handicapped" spot available, so we had to go in to the lobby area and talk to a gentleman who was clearly not happy to be having to help us (I get it, it was late but still). He told us he didn't know what to do for us and to park next door for now and to move our car by 7 am. NOT what you want to hear when you're exhausted and looking forward to sleeping in. Also, the carpets were so dirty that we couldn't walk around barefoot.

The carpet on the stairs on the way up to the room was dirty. Not nearly enough plugs for 2 people. Paper thin walls we could hear everything including people talking or whenever someone took a shower. Remote control for the TV was sticky. Outside window covers were rotten. This might be the last option for someone who just wants to sleep but if you are on vacation with your family don't, because you will go to bed worried that bugs will crawl on you.

Review 110：I stayed here thinking that it would be a nice place to spend a relaxing evening close to Seal Beach. All I wanted was a nice bath and a peaceful rest. Everything was broken. The sink, the tub, everything. But to make matters worse, the people next door were having some domestic disputes all night. When I called to the front desk, nothing happened. In the middle of the night the neighbors tried to break into my room!!! It was the worst hotel experience of my life. I left early in the morning and the management had left an illegible note on the window saying to drop off the keys. Worst customer service. Total dump!!
