Review 4：It was truly a home away from home. My family lives to travel and we have never stayed at a place that made us feel so welcome. All the staff that we encountered, Jag, Debbie and Jaime made us feel like part of their family.

Review 12：This is a cute, little, family-run hotel right on the beach. You can see the owner's personality and hospitality in all the little touches around the property. We went around the holidays and she even had a "community christmas tree-decorating" night in the lobby. Everything was very comfy and made us feel right at home. It's in a great spot in Huntington Beach too: walking distance to some great restaurants, bars, coffee shop and right across from the beach! We are a young couple in our late 20s and have stayed at hotels from 2-star motels to 5-star resorts and this one we will definitely be coming back to! Thanks for a great experience!

Review 13：They were very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. We were in town for a funeral over the holiday and needed to extend our stay and some additional assistance it was all NO Problem and we really really appreciated everything.

Review 14：The facility does need some renovating. Our room was nice, but there were areas that needed painting and new carpet would be a desirable change. Closet quite small, as well as the breakfast area. Parking is not userfriendly. Spaces are very tight. No kleenex provided in the rooms and the housekeeping staff need to be more particular on how they clean.

First thing I noticed when coming in the hotel was a table with three different types of subway sandwiches , ( Roast Beef , Italian and Turkey ). How cool is that?! We were pleasantly surprised by this little motel with the quality of service , cleaningness , and good food for a very reasonable price. I never write reviews but the reason I'm writing one today is to let other people know that because of other people's reviews we found this place, thank you!

Review 33：Parking something full-size might be tricky, especially, when prius drivers take full size parking place instead of "compact" marked. Breakfast is basic and breakfast place is on the second floor, if it's matters, but in my opinion, that's not a problem.

Review 34：It's literally Surfer's Inn. Everything in decoration is about ocean and surfing. The place is not pricey, although it's situated almost on the Sunset Beach (just 2 minutes walk). It's clean, well maintained and staff is great, comfortable to stay. There're also some places for dinner outside in 5 minutes walk either way (and we strongly recommend Romano Cucina!), starbucks nearby, etc. Very nice place, recommended.

Review 38：Great location for our visit to the area. We were in town from San Diego to see a concert at a location that was within walking distance. Hotel was neat and clean. We had a nice ocean view from our room.

Review 39：Our room smelled strongly of urine and some type of flowery spray on top of that to try to mask it, it was SO bad that I couldn't sleep. The carpet was crunchy, the bathroom vanity lights didn't work (so kind of dark for applying make up), and the pillows were super lumpy. The fire alarm went off at 5:50 am, and there was no direction from management in regards to it, we (my family) all got up dressed quickly and headed outside, turns out it was a false alarm. The breakfast room was small and extremely warm.

Review 54：Oceans Surf Inns was wonderful, that location is just steps away from the ocean, the owner has thought of everything. She has an outdoor shower and restroom so if you are at the beach you can easily make your way back to utilize the facilities.

We went out and the location is great,lots of restaurants around and we met some local,went drinking and play pool,everything was literally max 10 min from hotel (the beach it's just behind it) the day after we were a bit slow to check out,was not a problem at all and since the water was cold in our bathroom the lady let us shower in another perfectly clean room! plus complementary water which was great with the hangover! didn't try the breakfast but I'm sure it's great!

The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We loved it there!!! Will definatly be back!!

Review 76：The breakfast was your typical Danish and yogurt but this is a motel, not a hotel. We only had a view of the patio area, where people could see us unless we closed the curtains, but the biggest issue was the maids. We asked for late checkout (noon) and between 11 and 1145 they came three times trying to make us leave once even after my husband went down to the desk. Overall it was a nice pleasant stay, and we got to use the parking lot even after we were checked out

Review 90：Like a classic beach dweller, the hotel was a bit funky but totally friendly and clearly well-cared for. I enjoyed the roof-top patio for gorgeous sunsets and the fact it is one tiny block from lovely Sunset Beach. Shout out to the warm welcome from the front desk--I hope to stay again soon.

Review 91：We were expecting more for the price, I guess if we were 21 and wanted to surf, get drunk and puke all over, this would have been the place! We experienced hair all over the bed, the bed skirt had MOLD growing on it on both sides of the bed! We had an empty Budwieser box stuffed in the nightstand, HUGE disgusting stains all over the mattress pad, and couldn't sleep because the room was so moist!

Also our window looked out onto the hotel corridor so our room was really dark and our view was of a wall

Review 101：Our room needed some work, crack under door let in the noise from the street. Door to little closet was off and leaning against the wall. carpet was not laid correctly around the edge of room. Bathroom was huge, but we had only a little tiny shelf to put our toiletries on had to leave them in the main room. And the shower was terrible water ran on to bathroom floor made for unsafe conditions, it was like almost the whole bathroom was the shower. Parking spaces were very narrow glad we had taken our little car and not our big dodge truck it would not have fit in the parking area.

Staff was very helpful we arrived early about 11am, was able to check in and park at hotel we could not get into the room till about 1pm but that was ok as we were early.
