Reviews for Sri Panwa Phuket

Review 1:I'm a picky one, but really there isn't anything i did not like

Review 2:Everything was perfect and then some more. Amazing hotel, will definitely come back. The food is very good, the pools are very nice and not crowded, the rooms are great and Baba Nest is one cool place.

Review 3:It's very expensive ; the transportation to airport costs 2,300 baht per round. The food also not good.

Review 4:The scenery is really beautiful, the service is good and the staffs are very nice.

Review 5:The beach was very small and didn t look nice. we knew it before so we were not disappointed. We had everything we needed during this 3 nights stay with our pool in the villa and the pool at the Baba beach club

Review 6:We had booked an ocean family suite. After Reading the rewiews before we arrived at the Hotel we decided to change to a luxury ocean view one bedroom villa. The villa was perfect with a fantastic view and pool. We loved the interior, the materials and details and the space. We boooked the Baba nest months in advance. We were not disappointed the view was amazing. We liked the overall construction and design of the Hotel facilities. We tried all restaurants they were good especially the japanese and the thai. We liked the breakfast with fresh fruit juices. We liked also the spa. The treatments we had were very good. We also liked the surprise we had for our wedding anniversary when we arrived at the Hotel.

Review 7:That we are not there now!!

Review 8:We loved every little thing about our stay here at Sri Panwa. Loved how it was far away from the hustle of the main tourist areas. We ventured out of the grounds to the water where the restaurants are, and was very nice and relaxing with some nice local meals. The luxury pool villa was awesome better then we were expecting, with the pool water nice and refreshing was a great way to spend 5 days. Restaurants were top notch and enjoyed the relaxing drinks at babas nest. All the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. Well done on a great atmosphere guys. We cannot wait to call by again.

Review 9:The bed wasn't very comfortable

Review 10:- The view from the room was amazing!- Must book @ Baba Nest, by far the best thing to do in Phuket - The food at Baba Pool restaurant was very tasty. - Must try their Spa, luxurious

Review 11:I checked in at night, and it was for a 6 night. However, when i checked out, they force me to check out 5 hours before my flight. They transfer to a suite just for 3 hours. I had to pack all my stuff like twice. Was unhappy about that.

Review 12:Loved the view from the hotel villa.

Review 13:I was hoping we could stay for longer! Too bad we had to fly back to cold Estonia :)

Review 14:Sri Panwa was our final and most luxurious stay in Thailand. We loved the huge villa that we lived in and specially the gorgeous ocean view - every moment in Sri Panwa was like a dream :)

Review 15:Breakfast was an absolute disappointment once more, totally not up to the rest of the accommodation. Very few choices in the buffet, everything with curry, and the only thing you could order was eggs (all kinds of ways), that were not tasty at all. We have been to hotels with half the room rate and had an amazing breakfast with choices from all around the world (e.g. Atlantis-Dubai).

Review 16:Amazing location and view from our ocean view villa, the most happy and smiley people to help you with whatever you may think to ask, the perfect place to relax luxuriously!

Review 17:The food was good but wasn't fabulous, even the Thai food. Breakfastwas included in our rate + was the most delicious of the meals, a greatselection of choices that rotated daily, but every over meal was hit ormiss. Beers are 248 baht and up compared to the 35 baht they are at thestore at the bottom of the resort ($7 each opposed to $1 each) which ispretty ridiculous but to be expected. I also requested a sparking waterfor dinner and was suggested Pierre...okay, I love Pierre. Dummy me, Ishould have check the menu, that sparking water was fifteen dollars.Haha. We stayed in a pool suite which was beautiful and comfortable, however the pool was freezing cold and could only be enjoyed selecthours of the day when the sun was shining right on our room. It had jetsbut no temperature control, which was quite the bummer. I mean, it wasfreezing. Staff is incredible and accommodating, very warm and make youfeel at home, however there were times where we felt they were a littletoo attentive, watching and waiting...made it hard to relax and enjoysometimes. We were told bicycle rental would be included in our room butwhen we arrived we were told they were out. We were also told beforehand we could check in early but were then denied the day before. Iunderstand, however I am thankful I thought to call and confirm prior.Upon checking in we were told we could rent scooters for 350 baht fromthe desk (a reasonable price) but when we tried they told us we neededan international motorcycle license and they wouldn't allow it. (Myhusband has a motorcycle license). We just trucked it down to the streetat the hotel entrance and rented a scooter from there, no problem, andexplored the surrounding area + stocked up on reasonably priced beersfor our room.

Review 18:The views of the luxurious Sri Panwa clearly can not be beat. Here, youpay for the experience. Quiet and serene, the rooms were cozy, the staffwas attentive and warm, and the setting was simply breathtaking. Nowonder everyone there is taking photos 24/7, especially from BabaNest! It was glorious, and the staff was exceptionally accomodating. Myhusband + I spent 3 nights there (after jaunts in Patong + boat trips)and were happy to relax and enjoy the resort. We did, however, noticethat although the resort had a youthful vibe, it didn't seem asthough there was much social scene. Even at Baba Nest the poolsurrounding the dock is meant to swimming (and is much warmer than otherpools on property) but no one was...so we took advantage the last dayand hopped in! All in all it was beautiful, we are happy we splurged, but also thankful we didn't stay any longer, as 29 year olds whoenjoy a balance of exploration and relaxation we absolutely would havegotten bored (a couple we talked to that was there for 10 days said theywere so ready to go home). Absolutely beautiful, quiet and fabulouslydesigned, worth a quick stay. The hotel kindly called Taxis for us whenwe requested and also arranged a boat tour for us prior to our stay, which was exceptionally kind. Since we were celebrating our anniversarythe hotel gifted us a coupon toward the spa, which was great. You canonly use the pool there (which is lovely!) if you have a spaappointment, so I would suggest making one! There were some drawbacks(see noted), but really, overall, was an awesome stay.

Review 19:Evening entertainment options are limited and many guests spend most of the time in their villas in between meal times. If you are in search of a busier social setting, we would suggest you may wish to look elsewhere. Likewise, if you are a beach lover, be aware that the private beach is a very small and simple affair with limited facilities.

Review 20:This is a top quality resort located at Cape Panwar, on the southern most tip of Phuket Island in a relatively quiet and low key setting away from the liveliness of the other more popular beach resort areas. It comprises ocean view pool suites, ocean and garden view villas plus several privately owned residential properties all located amidst the lush and hilly jungle setting. The hotel provides private tuk tuk transport on request between reception, the highly acclaimed Baba Nest and the main villa and pool suite complex. The hotel has 3 restaurants which are welcome given the limited options outside the resort in the near vicinity. Breakfast is served at the very pleasant Baba Restaurant? overlooking the pool area complete with rocking chairs and a high quality breakfast buffet catering for all tastes. The hotel bar area is relaxing and chilled with a resident DJ playing pleasant vibes during the evening. Sunset cocktails at the well acclaimed Baba Nest are a must although be sure to book in advance. The staff throughout the hotel were absolutely charming - well trained, with relatively good English and couldn't do enough to help with any requests that we had. Our pool suite room (number 4) was of a very high standard with a large comfortable bed, sofa, desk area and a larger than average bathroom with huge bath, 'his and hers' sinks and a fantastic power shower. The balcony area was very private with its own sea water plunge pool and views out to the ocean. Overall, we enjoyed our short stay at Sri Panwar; we would highlight that it is an idyllic place for those searching a very quiet and relaxing stay amidst tranquil and peaceful surroundings. We would recommend this beautiful place to those seeking a high class getaway in a quiet and peaceful setting with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff.

Review 21:It's far from the rest of the work And when you have friends staying on the other side If the Island its far!

Review 22:I love the service there and every where is in south east Asia! I'm so happy we get to experience the Sri panwa!

Review 23:Not much shopping or other restaurants around for the authentic Thai experience and seeing a dog wander around the hotel

Review 24:Brilliant service, loved the pool villa, so far best hotel I have ever stayed at..... And we travel a lot!

Review 25:- The private pool temperature was a touch too cold. Would be great if there were controls. - Alcohol prices were steep compared to the rest of Thailand.

Review 26:- Amazing villas. - Sunset views. - Great food. - Helpful & friendly staff. - Complete privacy in the villa. - Decor & cleanliness. - Great little market right outside the resort.

Review 27:both me and my partner got food poison from dinner at Soul Food (the hotel's Thai restaurant). Breakfast is below expectation with this price level of the hotel, lack of choices.

Review 28:The size of the villa is good, the staff were very professional and helpful, quick response to all kinds of requests. The luxury villa has stunning ocean view which is highly recommended. Will definitely come back again!

Review 64:Swiming pool was the best.

Review 65:That we didn't stay longer. It is a bit of a drive to get there but it's worth every second when you arrive in paradise.

Review 66:Everything about this resort is picture perfect. The pool suite had a fantastic central location, great pool and the perfect view to wake up to each morning. The Nest deserves to be in the top 3 bars of the world. It is simply amazing with a view that cannot truly be appreciated until you have experienced sunset with a cocktail in hand and your loved one. The staff are all so very warm and friendly and that typical Thai hospitality really shines through. An afternoon at Cool Spa is a must for all couples.

Review 67:Nothing at all !! except little bits of Mosquitos

Review 68:It's one of the best resort I ever stayed in so far. I stayed in luxury sea view pool villa and it was amazing. Me and my couple loved it, the sea view from the villa was breathtaking. The tuk tuk service was useful and quick. The Menu in babe pool restaurant was nice. Breakfast ok but need improvement. Staff we're very friendly and helpful. Yes it's Far from city but honestly you don't want to leave the villa. Over all: worth the money and highly recommend for honeymooner/ couple/ group of friends.

Review 69:too far away from the downtown ,so it takes much money to take a seafood buffet.

Review 70:The resort is extremely luxury. All the beverage, snacks, and coffee inside the room are free, which is great for honeymoon. We spent 5 days there, never boring with the brillant inside-room swimming pool. love there!

Review 71:The cost of eating at the resort restaurants was a bit expensive but the food was excellent.

Review 72:The peace and quiet of the whole place and the staff were excellent. Location and privacy of villa

Review 73:Ocean view villa was a little disappointed as trees were quite tall and some view was obstructed. The communication between staff really need to step up, I need to reconfirm my booking for drinks and dinner with few different people on few different occasion.

Review 74:Location, view. Service was good as expected if you pay this kind of money.

Review 75:Every thing in the hotel was excalnet and I recommend this hotel for people who want to relax and enjoy the few,the staff Was very nice and very helpful
