Reviews for Woodland Inn 69 North Humble
Review 1:I kinda kinda felt somewhat congested in the room. Idk if it's normal. But they were doing some remodeling of the room across from me during the day. The door to my room didn't close righto. Had big gaps that allowed a lot of noise in.
Review 2:Overall room comfort was great. Bed was super comfortable. I slept great. The whole place was pretty quiet. Great for the money. I stayed 8 nights. Best thing is the TV channels. Had a lot to choose from with some good movies.
Review 3:They accepted no pets I have a very old 4 lbs dog had to make other arrangements for her also the smell of Marijuana was thick in the halls I won't be staying there again.....they had my room right by the ice machine as well
Review 4:Nothing really
Review 5:It was very relaxing, plenty of ice, and the bath and shower I loved it. Even more the gas station right next store with finger foods ready to eat. The taxi cab was early and on time.
Review 6:Staff seemed to have a problem with an African American renting two rooms at one time. Even though they had my card on file and I'd stayed there two nights prior to that. I shouldn't have to share a room with my sister if I don't want to and especially when I'm paying for my privacy.
Review 7:How comfortable the bed was.
Review 8:You have to be ready for little Sri Lanka ;) Owners to publish some pictures of 3 story highways passing above hotel.
Review 9:Cost. Personnel is obviously doing their best to keep this rubbish in good shape.
Review 10:I was unable to leave the girl and her 1 yr. old in the hotel...it was 96 outside and I had to drive the whole nite because this RUDE woman was so unreaonable...she thought she knew what was going on...she refused my explaination and was snotty
Review 11:Nothing... I was dropping a girl off who was escaping domestic violance and the woman behind the counter refused to let her check in after I made the reservation for the room online room because she saw my puppy in my car
Review 12:The service though isn't very good. When I called the front desk for towels and toilet paper, the lady asked me to come to the front desk to get them. When I did she played 20 questions with me as to why I needed more towels and then said that their were none. The front desk, depending on who you talked to, was fair. I wouldn't rate them overall better than a 5. Also, be sure to bring your own soap and bathroom supplies. The one in the room isnt very good.
Review 13:I recently used this hotel for a weekend conference. I was very pleased with the room and it was down the road from where I needed to be. But the hotel is nice and smells wonderful.
Review 14:We were lied to over the phone about a shuttle service, the room smelled like urine and chemicals, the attendant told us she would reserve us a taxi for the morning so we could catch our flight and we waited over half an hour for one, and the staff was rude.
Review 15:the check-in guy is behind a bullet proof glass, you feel like you might get murdered, $20 cab ride from the airport, and "breakfast" was worthless
Review 16:Every ok
Review 17:It was a nice get away for one night. Was very happy inspite being a smoking room. It did not smell like an ashtray.
Review 18:The location to gettho
Review 19:The price
Review 20:None
Review 21:Everything
Review 22:Rude clerk at front deal upon checking in. Changed or reservation. Changed price that I reserved for room.
Review 23:Location, amenities
Review 24:Booking.com has this property located several miles from where it actually is located.

Review 28:The bed was really comfortable
Review 29:Staff wifi rude
Review 30:The bed
Review 31:They had a great air conditioning unit. Nice private atmosphere. Very cozy.
Review 32:Next to freeway and can hear cars
Review 33:King bed, nice flat screen tv, Big size room
Review 34:smell was ok but could be better
Review 35:nice location good prices clean
Review 36:Right underneath Sam Houston Tollroad!
Review 37:Large comfortable room
Review 38:Walls like conduit for noise... the light fixtures mounted on walls allowed noise to travel between rooms
Review 39:I asked for a non-smoking room and got a smoking room. The smell was so bad that I had to put a towel on my face to mask it. Taxi Cabs apparently do not like to show up to this location. Smelt like moth balls in office and in halls of the Inn.
Review 40:It is rated as a 3 star, but is in fact an old Knights Inn, and a 1 star facility. I felt like the place was seedy and dirty. It was run down, a $25 cab ride from the airport, and basically no place I would ever stay again unless under extreme circumstances. My "no smoking" room had ashtrays in it. I called down, and was told this was the room they gave if you had a service animal - which I did. Apparently they have not heard about ADA regulations. In all, it was a very poor accommodation.
Review 41:I liked getting out of there
Review 42:They won't let anyone visit your room while you stay there. They have a sign posted. I think that is crazy cause we went there to visit family when we were not working. Not my best room booking and I usually do very well at picking the rooms.
Review 43:Pretty much everything else. Bathroom was in poor shape, the bed was awful, the room was musty the service was bad and the "breakfast" was anything but.
Review 44:Location and maybe price (MAYBE).
Review 45:The no-smoking room was down the hall in an area with smoking rooms...defeats the purpose. The staff was very rude and seemingly incompetent; it took over 20 minutes to check me in (I was the ONLY person there)...too interested in their TV show. There were stains on the sheets and the pillow cases; the bathroom needed repairs. A very sub-par (even for the money) place to say. Would NOT recommend it.
Review 46:This hotel promises a shuttle to take you from the airport but it won't take you if you arrive past 11 p.m.! Nowhere in the description said anything about that.
Review 47:Roaches crawling in bathroom, didn't get my wake up call..almost missed my flight.Phone was disconnected when I tried to call prior to stay.No airport shuttle or Denny's nearby as stated online. Located under an overpass of noisy freeways. When I asked about the anmenities that were not there, deskclerk said "the hotel was under new management and she just started working there," so she had no answers.Overall I felt ripped off, but shouldv'e known "You get what you pay for."
Review 48:The low cost
Review 49:it's smell and the price was wrong when I did it on online and the when I got there the went up they did not have alot of parking close to the room
Review 50:Location too far from airport, very misleading comments re: the shuttleservice as there is no shuttle service at all and that was the reason Ibooked it in the first place as the comments said the shuttle servicewas 24 hours and that they were very helpful. Due to the fact that I wasin transit and knew I was getting in after 11pm, that was an absolutecriteria for me. The cab ride both ways was $50 bringing the total coststo well over what I would classify as a budget hotel. Very poorlymaintained. Felt like a scary, derelict hotel.
Review 51:Unfortunately, Knights had not renewed their shuttle service with IAH, meaning that I had to spend $22 each way to cab it. Also, the price quoted to me online by booking.com did not include taxes, which raised the overall room cost to $55. I suppose it would have been the same at other locations, but the cab fee itself makes other more expensive hotels cost competitive with this one. I was told the shuttle issue would eventually be fixed.
Review 52:Ethnographically, this place is interesting. You are literally underneath an interchange at the Eastex Expressway. The spaghetti ramps and concrete are a sight to behold, a paen to 20th century automobility. It is not luxury, but the room was clean, and the desk staff was curteous. The noise from the expressway may be an issue for some, but it is not that bad, and I had a room facing it.
Review 53:the spanish housekeepers, very helpful, but they only clean room once, we stayed4 nights
Review 54:absolutely nothing, well, friendliness and help from housekeeping, otherwise, we will never stay there again, 3 different front desk guys, had no clue what they were doing, one of them was so asleep when we when to ask for one more night,he could hardly speak, the appearance of this 3 males was awful, the entrance doors were old and taped down and to top it all our toilet got clogged, call in the morning to let them know, when we came back at 7 was still clogged, so we had to be moved to another room, when i reserved 2 rooms, they were supposed to have 1 extra mattress in one and two in the other, they only gave us one for both rooms, shame on this people
Review 55:Traffic noise.
Review 56:the bed was very conorftable. Cleaning staff did a very good everyday..
Review 57:Very bad stuff pl dont stay here
Review 58:The name of the hotel is still not updated with Yellow Cab and may result in complications getting there

Review 69:The bed The tv The service The shower
Review 70:Not a thing
Review 71:No TV-Just 3 channels, keys had to be remade 3 times, and had a mouldy smell, poor size bath towels

Review 74:the room was clean and beds nice
