Review 1：the bathroom fan screeched for 2 minutes when first turned on...very annoying. the deadbolt on the door was very difficult to lock and then it stuck shut when I tried to get out of the door. to be fair, I put up with this for a few days before mentioning this to the desk clerk, once she knew, she moved me to another room that had no issues.
Review 2：my room was on the first floor. the room seems to have been recently refurbished. roomy. when a light burnt out in the room the maintanence man changed it immediately.
Review 3：I only liked the location. Stay somewhere else. It was a horrible hotel, better deals at another properties. I had to pay a taxi because their airport shuttle bus wasn't working. The front desk staff didn't know how to allow my room phone to place international calls. They didn't have a computer for guests to use. I saw several couples using property mostly as a motel / love hotel. Room was not very clean.

Review 7：The fridge was dirty when I got there and was never cleaned although I was told it would be cleaned the next day. Also the internet was down the entire 2 days I was there. Luckily I had my own hot spot to do some internet based work.

Review 22：Two nights ago I landed in Houston Int'l and picked up my luggage, Iwent to the shuttle pick-up area and called the hotel. After a minuteand a half of ringing, I hung up. I looked through my recent calls,wondering if maybe I had typed the contact number into my address bookincorrectly. No, the number that I had dialed the night before wascorrect. I tried calling a few more times with no luck. I then triedcalling at the kiosk inside the airport itself and had no luck. After 45minutes of waiting for a shuttle and getting no answer while calling, Ihailed a cab and spent $20 on my ride to the hotel. I was a littleticked off about this, because my reason for selecting the Econo Lodgewas the price and the shuttle service to and from the airport and I wason an extremely tight budget. When I got to the hotel, I explained tothe gentleman at the front desk that I had called over 10 times in aspan of 45 minutes and had gotten no response and I ended up having tocatch a cab to the hotel. I suppose he was too busy doing who knows whatto realize that they had had no calls to the desk during the previoushour, because apparently that's how long someone had left the phone offthe hook. When I asked for reimbursement he told me he couldn't, buthe'd give me a discounted rate. $5 was taken off of my bill for theinconvenience and frustration of the 45 minutes of calling from theairport and the $20 cab ride. Thanks a lot, Econo Lodge.

Review 24：They did not have any record of my reservation, so it was confusing and we did not get the room I reserved. Instead we had to have a rollaway bed which was uncomfortable.
Review 25：I am a coach and brought a team for a cross country meet. My cusiness manager had reserved the room in advance, and had even called to confirm that the room had been payed for. We didnt get there until 3am and the man at the front desk said the room had not been paid for (and was very rude about it). It took about 30 minutes to check in and I had to pay using my personal debit card. My phone worked half the time. The breakfast was horrible. Overall I was completely dissatisfied with the entire experience.
Review 26：The owners of the econo lodge were superb. They went out of their way tohelp us with accomodations when the reservation from bookin.com did notappear in their system. Picked us up and took us back to the airport.The breakfast was nothing really, there were a lot of kids in the hoteland they ransacked the eating area. I would stay there again

Review 29：There was a 50 min wait for the shuttle at 6:30 am when the hotel is only about 10 min away and there was no traffic noticed when I did get the ride. I didn't mind though as I was in earlier than expected and was not in a rush.
Review 30：The staff was very friendly. I left my car there for 12 days before staying and was given prompt service to the airport. Upon return I was allowed to check in early at no extra cost and was given a very comfortable, clean room which was much larger than I expected. It was a great place to rest up after a long flight. I would stay again.

Wewere a group whose international flight change required us to arrive inHouston a day early, and we were looking for a cheap sleep with transpoto the airport.The hotel staff helped us find a restaurant in walking distance, though the walk was a bit soggy and not so pleasant. The dining recommendation was great, though!
