Review 1：The cleaning lady mistaken our check out date and time and went in our room and tossed out my baby's milk, my children's lunch, juices, water, took away microwave which we paid for.

Review 3：The people staying next to us in room 54 were extremely rude and inconsiderate. Around midnight our first night, they were actually standing RIGHT outside of our door, and sitting on our furniture outside of our door, talking and drinking very loudly.

Review 9：Kids didn't like the lake bottom. It was mucky and full seaweed. Just like most lakes. Nothing the resort can do.

Review 13：Scotty's is by no means a lavish resort, nor does it need to be. It offers families and groups plenty of options like beach area, swimming, playground and activities. The cottage style rooms are clean and the staff are always friendly.

Review 14：When we checked in, we were told we were upgraded. When we got to theroom, it was older than the others my friends were in. The toilet alsoran and there was no hairdryer, even after calling for one.

Review 18：Room smelled terribly musty and when we tried to open the window the crank fell off and pieces of louver blind dropped to the floor. Units are close together and you can hear others conversations.

Review 21：The front desk receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, she gave us good advice on places to go and places to eat! We also enjoyed playing ping pong, and bag toss on the beach, those were nice touches to make us feel the beach atmosphere was fun and inviting.

Review 24：Paid extra for lakeview but had to stand in the front left corner of the room to see lake, room smelled bad, spackle on walls in bathroom, trim not stained, floor corners in bathroom dirty, no drawers in burrow,ac only one setting, plugs fall out of outlets (?), pillows horrible, food found under bed, hair accessories from last renter found, nowhere to plug coffee maker in had to put on floor to plug in and coffee only left 1 of the 3 days stayed. you would expect more for just under $1000.

Review 28：The rooms made us feel like we had step back in time with the true essence of a motel stay. Our room was "renovated" so it had newer clean cut furniture. However, there weren't any curtains (so the morning sunrise was hard to sleep through); not what we expected on our long awaited mini-vacation. The room was freshly painted white BUT not a single decorative picture was hung. Also, there wasn't a living area in our 2 bedroom suite. That's pretty unusual for a "family room". The saving grace was that we were outdoors all day long!

Review 29：The location was idea because it was right on the water. The downtown area was within walking distance & there were numerous activities to choose from that were quick & easy to get to. The facility had the water sports & a nice clean pool which made our time in Lake George an outdoors type vacation- just what we wanted! The staff was very friendly as they always greeted us with a smile, ready to help.

Review 33：It was very nice and relaxing for us. We were never in lake George and picked out Scott's on line and of we went, not knowing what to expert. The staff was very nice and helpful. The town was nearby which was great. We will be booking again.

Review 34：I like the renovations to the rooms. They were clean and comfortable. The amenities were really fantastic. We stayed on site much more then we have done at any other hotel in Lake George. The staff was fantastic and very accommodating. The folks at the Café were wonderful and friendly. I don't really have any complaints but there are things I would like to see: alarm clock in room, place to hang bathing suits so they don't drip on the floor, rinse showers at the pool and beach, few more games at the arcade, better paddle boats at a cheaper rental rate, discounts for boat rentals in town, some additional discounts.

Review 37：Wifi signal was weak. That was really the only downside, and as far as downsides, that's minor.

Review 39：No concern for customer service. Was promised we could have early check-in, didn't get into room until after normal check-in time. The "heated" pool was ice cold. Was told "We don't have time to get it fixed". Nice beach. Too bad you can't swim. Rental water craft and docks take up the swimming area. This whole place is set up to suck money out of you, above and beyond the cost of the room. Walls must be thin - noise from adjoining rooms kept us up in the middle of the night. This place has a lot of rules. None are inforced.

Review 41：Tub had mold in it and the shower door came off the tracks and screws came off so my mother had to hold it while showering. The toilet was also leaking all over the floor. Fridge was never cleaned from the previous occupants.

Review 60：Room very outdated and smelled musty. Room was expensive. Old fashioned air conditioner in room. Room wasn't very clean. I found popcorn under the bed and we didn't eat popcorn. Shower didn't work well on the first day, but was fine the next two days.

Review 62：The shower was terrible. The bathroom itself was a good size but the shower/tub area is to small. The water would change from hot to cold and cold to hot a lot while taking a shower. There was no shower head on the shower so when the water came down it was like a misty spray.

Review 64：Rooms were clean, but somewhat small and outdated. There was a struggle to get shower and sink water at the right temp. I'm guessing old plumbing fighting with other rooms for the same hot and cold water.

Plenty of activities on the beach such as volleyball, ping pong and bean bag toss. Nice large bar area that appears to be new or recently renovated. Make sure to catch the fireworks from the beach every Thurs night

Coffee maker is 1 cup maker, no hairdryer or any other room extras.Location is good can walk to town,its on the lake with cute set up and reasonable rentals. Had the worst Pina colada ever, better off bring your own beer down to the beach area in a cooler than bar drinks.The room cost more than my stays at Disney.....expected more.

Review 71：The loud music in the morning at the beach. Mornings should be quiet. Music in the afternoons is ok. The room was very small and the WIFI didn't work well. The location of our room was bad. The beach bar closed at 8 pm.

Review 73：The shower... Was tough... The duel knob was hard to adjust and then it would stay at one temperature... The lake front was great location... But you could swim... There was like a seaweed or something very similar in the water... We were told that it was because of the sand bar...

Review 77：Our 2 room suite was absolutely awful. While beds/linens were clean, it was the cheapest, dirtiest motel we've stayed at. Room and front porch concrete area was completely slanted to the point my toddler had hard time standing and walking, very little storage for clothing, no closet, no shelves, only 4 hangars. Rug was stained, walls and bathroom floor were filthy, and overall was very poorly constructed with cheap quality amenities. Not what I would expect for nearly $400/night!!

Review 78：The outside amenities were great. We were very pleased with the lake front property, pool, cafe, on site laundry, playground, kayak/boat rental ease and price, volleyball and ping pong table etc.

Review 79：it was very expensive to stay here. The rooms are recently renovated however things are not quite finished eg the taps move in the bathroom and the Venetian blinds are not all the same length. A microwave would be nice and better reception on the TV.

Review 80：The lakeside location and beach. Really easy to get on the interstate so you don't have to crawl through Lake George village at 5mph.

Review 110：This was a wonderful location of all the resorts on the lake. They had a wide array of activities. It is also only 3 blocks away from the strip where you can shop, eat and do other activities.

Review 111：We had a great time. Scotty's had a lot to offer. We would definitely go back. It was clean but I think the pool area needs more tending after each day. Picking up belonging left behind and sweeping the area. The busier the weekend, it didn't look as clean, same with the picnic area. Staff was nice and helpful.

Review 112：I was awoken my first morning by barbecuers, 7:45 am using their own BBQ right in front of their room. All rooms have a concrete deck of sorts. There is no monitoring by the staff of this sort of thing. In the evening a number of rooms were BBQing right on the concrete decks. One BBQ had high flames. It was definitely a safety hazard and could easily take down much of the property on that side if there were a loss of control of the flames. I was quite exhausted from the prior nights drive to the resort and ended up having a huge headache b/c I wasn't able to sleep off the fatigue due to the early BBQers.

Review 113：Pros: Very nice property. Much more beach property than most resorts in the area. A person could spend the entire day relaxing on the property, as there is a volley ball area on the beach, table tennis, indoor arcade, lounge with pool tables. There is also a café right on the property. The pool is also very nice. The beds are extremely comfortable and the staff is sincerely nice. The housekeeping staff is especially attentive and sincere.

Review 114：There are no microwaves or hair dryers (a standard in most hotels) in the rooms. Found out when we left that they could be rented. Snack bar is only source of food on site and closes at 6, bar closes at 8. I think this is kind of early.

Review 115：We really enjoyed our stay there. The location was right on the lake and the set up was nice. Great Escape tickets were available on site at discounted rate. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 120：There wasn't anything I didn't like about scottys, but the town of lake george as a whole was pretty lonely. The restaurant food along the strip wasn't great and there are mainly just souvenirs shops.

Review 121：We went in May before memorial day, so most of the town was dead and there was only 1 other couple at scottys. So we basically had the resort to ourselves which was awesome. If you want to get away from life for a few days and don't want a crowded resort go in early May! The place was beautiful and they did a lot of updates it seemed. They was nothing to do in town but the hiking and horseback riding made the trip. I would go back.

Review 122：Rooms needed hooks and/or ledge in bathroom/closet.

Review 123：Close proximity to downtown and access to water made Scotty's wonderful. Rooms were clean and fresh,although bare bones. We are in a lake community and I did not expect luxury accommodations! White bedspreads nice update.

Review 124：Parking lot was a huuuge hill (sucks when you want to walk up to town) and mostly gravel at the bottom areas , parking and driving on gravel sucks for a motorcycle. Bathroom was infested with ants . 1 muffin and 2 coffees was 8 bucks !. Small window over bed had no shade = no sleep! No curtains just vertical blinds = no privacy and no sleep!

Review 132：The pool wasn't heated when we came,but management had the heater fixed. Because of the cold weather, the pool took awhile to warm. The management tried to make things better & offered us to go to their sister resort but we declined, the view and resort made us stay put. Overall it wasn't that bad just bad timing.

Asked for an ironing board, told us they'd bring it right down. 40 min later we called back and they said they didn't know where the boards were. They bring them to rooms but have no system to track them. We never got one.

As a single mom I left exhausted and sad as it was a lot ofmoney for me to spend.
