Set 0.6 miles from Kruger National Park, Sefapane Lodge in Phalaborwa offers an outdoor pool, spa and game drives. The thatched accommodation is spread across the tropical gardens which include 4 lakes.
Featuring a private veranda overlooking the grounds, the brightly decorated rondavels have thatched walls and ceilings. The 3-bedroom safari houses include a furnished deck, spacious living room and a kitchen. Some of the rooms are located at the Sefapane River Lodge, which is set on the banks of the Olifants River in a private game reserve.
Breakfast is available and there is an à la carte restaurant at the lodge which serves African dishes with a Western twist. There is a bar by the pool and evening safaris, complete with a bush braai barbecue, are also available.
Sefapane Lodge guests can take part in bush walks, river safaris and cycling trips. There are also many fishing and birdwatching opportunities in the area.

Review 1：Some of the staff seemed new and lacked in training.

Review 2：We enjoyed the excursions very much. The house was very comfortable and well kitted. The food at the restaurant was very good as were the buffet breakfasts.

Review 3：About the breakfast food were good but the glasses were dirty. even the room were not prepared as the were grasses from the roof all over the room

Linen not changed daily apparently they are saving water. Tea and coffee facilities in room are for a single cup. The noise from trucks at all hours( I guess the lodge cant do much about this one.

I also recommend visiting their newly acquired River Lodge in the Krugerpark (stunning !!!!). They have started renovating the rooms. 2 swimming pools. Great for families with children. Well trained guides to visit the Krugerpark.

When we checked in, we explained our preference and were offered a different lodge with a fantastic view. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the lodge was beautifully decorated.

Review 54：TV in bar should be showing wildlife videos and not soccer! Chef should be replaced or sent for training. Had two dinners and both were very much below standard. The steak could not be cut with a steak knife (tried two knives) and the buffet lacked imagination in choice and presentation. I'll with-hold my comments on the lamb. Breakfasts were OK.

Staffwas the friendliest I have ever experienced near the park. Theexcursions were a bit pricey, but given the cost savings on theroom, well worth it. The lodge is far north, but beautiful. Thefamily lodge was super cute & well decorated. Food very good. Wouldrecommend having dinner as opposed to the braii. The Hippo tour wasgreat and self drives of course.
