Review 1：After we got let in by an elderly gentleman, we didn't see the owners or anyone else to speak to .Couldn't contact them to ask for urgent requests- called all the numbers. Requested breakfast- no communication on that either. Wifi didn't work

Review 2：We were bitten by bed bugs. In a self catering units I expect there to be basics like sugar and salt. There was also no wifi connection.

Review 3：I thought the location was great, the staff were friendly and the self catering unit was a good size.

Review 4：People skills of the old man can do with some improvement. "What do you want?" isn't exactly kind when you're trying to order/request your milk to be warmed--even if it's an old man asking a younger female.

Review 20：Ashley and all the staff at the Oaktree Lodge are very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The accommodation and surroundings are fantastic, picturesque and made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would very much recommend.

Review 21：The TV was not plugged in when I arrived. I had to make all the connections (including aerial). In the end I got it to work, but could only get the 'free to air' channels. I would have expected to get at least the basic DSTV bouquet at a relatively up-market establishment like this...

Review 22：Large rooms with high thatched roofs set around a spacious garden. Friendly staff (and owner). Quiet neighbourhood. Lots of cheap restaurants situated 10 min by car. Free - albeit not very fast - WiFi in the room. You get the feeling of being in the countryside - whilst still being relatively close to Midrand / northern Johannesburg.
