Reviews for Hotel Presidente
Review 1:The staff at the front desk was very rude. They looked angry all the time like army. 5-star hotel ??? Ridiculous!!! It was less than 3-star. I'd never recommend this hotel for my friends.
Review 2:Nonthing but location
Review 3:The bed was terribly hard. The sitting room was dim. Another lamp or brighter bulbs are needed din there.
Review 4:The location is fantastic for walking around the markets, museos and churches of the historic part of town. The staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with a great variety of fruit and scrambled eggs made to order.
Review 5:Although the location is convenient for old La Paz, it is very noisy with taxi beeping horns, callers of micro destinations and the never ending protests. To be able to enjoy the incredible views, the hotel front elevation is all glass. The problem is that there is no air conditioning and the rooms get extremely hot at midday.
Review 6:Very pleasant for a few nights. Easy access to Old La Paz with fantastic views over the city. Very friendly staff always pleased to help. Food available all day.
Review 7:The heat was ineffective, only heating the ceiling near the window. Atnight the drapes had to be closed for warmth.Minor point--not many Kleenexes. Also, those who don't speak Spanish may have troubles communicating with much of the staff.
Review 8:Very clean. Great location. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Review 9:Very dated. Bad part of town. Expensive and not worth the money.
Review 10:Fantastic staff. Excellent location. Clean very comfortable.
Review 11:The breakfast juice was horrible. The egg was half-boiled too. Price is very expensive for Bolivian standards.
Review 12:The hotel was very good and the staff helped us a lot. Whenever we needed information about the city of La Paz like directions, hot spots, Cholitas wrestling or to ask for a taxi, they were very helpful. Also, there is free WI-FI access and a network for each floor.
Review 13:The hotel is situated in the old historic part of La Paz and very close to the Plaza San Francisco and the cathedral. The business district at Av. Camacho is in walking distance. The market area on the blocks behind San Francisco is impressive. The hotel is classic style, the room was clean, spacious with a nice view (13th floor). The restaurant on the 15 floor offers good meals and panoramic views. WiFi works, parking is possible.
Review 14:, shower with no water, noisy, and not toilet paper at bathroom
Review 15:We actually only liked the door man, very nice gentleman, and the restaurant at the top was nice and the service was really good, everything else really does not look like a 5 star hotel, not even Close.
